Abstract

This article discusses in depth the role of ethics and aesthetics of philosophy in the science of guidance and counseling, how the two complement each other, and their practical implications in improving the professionalism and effectiveness of guidance and counseling services. This article was compiled using a literature review method. Previous scientific works related to the literature review are the main sources of this research. Data collection methods include books, journal articles, internet articles, and other writings related to the subject (Ridwan et al., 2021). This study analyzes how the role of ethics and aesthetics is applied in guidance and counseling services. This study does not involve direct sampling or subjects, unlike the quantitative approach. Researchers focus on analyzing literature relevant to the topic as a basis for drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that in guidance and counseling, ethics and aesthetics of philosophy have a very important and complementary role in guidance and counseling services. Ethics function as a moral foundation that directs the professional behavior of counselors to always uphold the rights and dignity of clients, maintain confidentiality, and act fairly and responsibly. Meanwhile, aesthetics play a role in creating a comfortable and conducive counseling atmosphere through the physical environment, communication style, and the appearance and attitude of the counselor, so that clients feel valued, accepted, and motivated to open up.

Abstract

Learning difficulties may be caused by inappropriate teaching methods, inappropriate curriculum focus, or even complicated learning. Therefore, it is necessary to have an appropriate learning theory model that involves interaction during learning so that students are active. Many learning theory models can be applied in the learning process. However, all learning theory models have their advantages and disadvantages. Through popular learning theories, it is hoped that ineffective teaching and learning processes can be minimized. Some of the learning methods in popular learning theories that will be discussed this time are: intelligent character education, quantum learning and accelerated learning.

Abstract

Dari hasil penelitian didapati bahwa penerapan etika bisnis etika bisnis syari’ah  pada Bana Swalayan Store secara umum sudah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip syari’ah , sudah baik dari yang pertama aspek tauhid bahwa Bana Swalayan sudah menerapkan aspek kesetaraan kepada konsumen, sudah jujur dalam menjelaskan produk sesuai dengan kenyataanya an sudah menerapkan waktu untuk beribadah, pemilik perusahaan di BanaSwalayan dalam sudah mengarahkan para karyawannya agar selalu bersikap jujur, melayani pelanggan dengan senang hati. Aspek keduakesetimbangan (keadilan), Bana Swalayan sudah menerapkannya dengan cara karyawan sudah mendapati haknya sebgai kayawan denganmendapatkan gaji yang adil dan mendapat waktu untuk istirahat, dan  aspek kehendak bebas Bana Swalayan juga sudah menerapkan  aspek  ini dengan cara  tidak  adanya  paksaan  kepada  konsumen dalam  memilih  produk  yang  ingin  konsumen  beli. Kecuali pada aspek pertanggungjawaban masih ada ketidaksesuaian dengan prinsip syari’ah dimana pelayan kurangnya keramahan karyawan kepada kasir dalammelayani konsumen. Meskipun belum sepenuhnya maksimal, akan diperbaiki jika kesalahannya dari karyawan itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to describe; (1) the greeting system in the Toya village, (2) the function of greetings in the Toya village, (3) the factors that influence greetings in the Toya village. This research used qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques was listening and note-taking technique, conversation technique, and observation. Presentation of analysis result is carried out used formal and informal method. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that (1) forms of greeting to older people in family relationships, forms of greeting to the same age and forms of greeting to younger people. (2) The function of greeting was to pay attention to the person you are talking to and as a means of controlling interaction. (3) Facts that influence greetings are social status factors, educational factors, age factors and kinship factors.

Abstract

The rapid development of e-commerce technology has given rise to the phenomenon of impulsive buying, especially among students. Emotional impulses, attractive promotional offers and ease of transaction make students prone to making unplanned purchases. The purpose of this study was to know the effectiveness of self-monitoring and stimulus control techniques in reducing impulsive buying behavior in college students. The method used was a single-subject experiment with an ABA design. Interventions are conducted by providing treatment based on strengthening self-control and coping against external stimuli that trigger consumption behaviors. The results of the study showed there was a decrease in the impulsive buying score from 59 (medium category) at the initial baseline phase to 39 (low category) at the final baseline. These results indicate the presence of positive behavior changes following the intervention and support the use of this technique as a simple yet effective strategy to manage students’ consumer behavior.

Abstract

The article “Political Will Realizes the Reliability of Jakarta’s Public Transportation” from Kompas.id has provided basic information. The issue of public transportation discussed is indeed centered on the city of Jakarta, a metropolitan city that is always busy and has high traffic volume and high congestion, even ranking as the 7th most congested city in the world. Another problem is that Jakarta is not a single city that stands alone, this city is supported by several other supporting cities such as Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. The cities above also depend on public transportation in Jakarta which is usually where their people work, therefore the solution offered by Pramono Anung and Rano Karno must be comprehensive and not only fair to certain areas. This issue is very important to discuss because according to Tempo, there are 22.4 million vehicles passing through Jakarta in 2022. In addition to causing endless congestion, the large number of motor vehicles also causes other problems such as poor environmental and air quality in Jakarta. Therefore, the program that will be launched by Pramono Anung and Rano Karno later must be a breakthrough in reform in the world of public transportation in Jakarta, not just a political promise for image.

Abstract

The development of quality Islamic education is highly dependent on the alignment between vision, mission, and goals with the needs of learners and society. This demands managers of educational institutions to continuously evaluate and adjust in order for institutions to continue to exist and excel. Additionally, the success of Islamic educational institutions in molding a noble moral and knowledgeable generation is not independent of the involvement of all parties, ranging from educational personnel, learners, parents, to the wider community. This synergy must be embodied in the vision and mission of the institution so that educational goals can be optimally achieved. Islamic educational institutions require a clear vision, mission, and goals as a foundation in implementing a quality educational process oriented to Islamic values. A vision provides a long-term direction, a mission outlines a strategy for achieving it, and goals are concrete goals to be achieved. The latest scholarly opinions emphasize the importance of integration between Islamic values with contemporary challenges such as globalization, technology, and moral crisis.

Abstract

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is a social security agency responsible for providing social protection to all workers in Indonesia, both formal and informal. This study aims to analyze the strategies and efforts undertaken by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in Medan City to improve service quality and increase the number of participants. The research employs a qualitative method using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques to obtain in-depth and contextual data. The results indicate that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Medan City implements various strategies, including direct visits to companies with overdue contributions and unregistered workers, socialization through neighborhood heads, and the utilization of mass media and digital platforms such as YouTube and Instagram. This comprehensive approach has successfully expanded participant reach and raised public awareness regarding the importance of social security protection for workers. Thus, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Medan City plays a significant role in enhancing workers’ welfare through inclusive and sustainable services.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini bagaimana pengelolaan APBDes serta perspektif Hukum Ekonomi Syariah terhadap pengelolaan APBDes Desa Sereang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan yuridis empiris, sumber data yang digunakan berasal dari data primer yaitu wawancara langsung dilokasi penelitian dan data sekunder berasal dari dokumen, arsip kantor desa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan APBDes Desa Sereang sudah dilakukan dengan cukup baik sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan dengan menerapkan system perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pertanggungjawaban, namun dalam praktek dan pelasanaanya belum efektif. Dari sudut Panjang hukun ekonomi syariah pengelolaan APBDes desa sereang dalam pengaplikasiannya disetiap kegiatan, pemerintah desa sereang sudah sesuai dengan syariah islam dengan menerapkan system transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam mengelolah keuangan desa yang dibuktikan dengan melibatkan seluruh element masyarakat desa dalam proses musyarawah guna merencanakan secara kolektif penggunaan anggaran desa yang optimal. Namun dalam hal pendapatan yang bersumber dari bunga  bank itu tidak dibenarkan dalam islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of public service standards at the Motoboi Kecil Sub-District Office, South Kotamobagu District. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with key informants consisting of local government officials and community members. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured using the triangulation method. The results indicate that the implementation of public service standards at the Motoboi Kecil Sub-District Office has not been fully optimal. Several obstacles were identified, including a lack of dissemination of service procedures, inefficient service times, additional costs for certain services, limited innovation in digital service delivery, and inadequate facilities, infrastructure, and staffing. Nevertheless, the office has made efforts to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for administrative services and provide service information through banners and information officers. This study recommends increasing public outreach, optimizing human resources, and developing technology-based service systems to improve the quality of public services at the Motoboi Kecil Sub-District Offices.
