Abstract

Horror films circulating in Indonesia today can be watched by anyone from various social media, including underage elementary school students. As a result of watching this horror film, students often fantasize and imagine everything must be scary and scary. Even students will also write stories about that scary thing in the assignment given by the teacher. This study aims to analyze writings made by elementary school students that reflect horror stories in Indonesian horror films. The subjects of the study were 31 students of SD 05 Nagrek with works containing ghost stories whose contents were almost the same as ghost stories in Indonesian horror films. Research is descriptive qualitative research with observation, interview, documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is the theory of Miles and Huberman which is carried out by means of (1) Data reduction (2) Data presentation (3) Conclusion drawing and verification. Checking the validity of data is carried out by extending observations and triangulation. The triangulation used in this study is source triangulation which is done by checking data that has been obtained through several sources. The results showed that (1) half of the 31 students wrote stories with content that was almost similar to ghost stories filmed in Indonesia. (2) Students get ideas in writing ghost stories from watching themselves, told by friends and just imagining.

Abstract

The research aims to find out how culture-based learning media to develop student character at Srikandi Kindergarten in Lhokseumawe City and what obstacles teachers find in the implementation in the classroom. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. The subjects in the study were students at Srikandi Kindergarten Lhokseumawe City, class teachers and principals. Data analysis techniques in this study include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study found that culture-based learning media significantly contribute to students' character development by encouraging a deeper awareness and appreciation of diverse cultural perspectives, beliefs and practices, culture-based learning media foster empathy and understanding of others by exposing children to the traditions, practices and ways of life of other cultures. Kindergarten children learn to recognize and respect human differences and similarities through stories, music and visual representations of different cultures. The barriers found were the students' different knowledge and viewpoints regarding culture.

Abstract

Kinesthetic Intelligence is one of the Multiple intelligences related to children's motor development. In group B class, Bintang Mulia Kindergarten, Bintaro, South Jakarta, still many children not being able to jump on alternate legs, spin or somersault, swing, walk with various variations, or stand on tiptoes with one or two legs. This research aimed to improve kinesthetic intelligence in 12 children aged 5-6 years through traditional Yapong dance. Traditional dance is a form of activity that involves the motor development of early childhood. Yapong dance is a traditional Betawi dance which involves walking with various variations, varying on tiptoes on one and two feet, making turns, and eye and hand coordination. The research method used classroom action research, by the Kemmis & McTaggart model. The results of the research showed that the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years were not initially developed in the pre-cycle with an achievement of only 30%. After getting action in cycle I, it started to grow to 41%. There was an increase to develop according to expectations at 62% in cycle II, and develop very well at 85% in cycle III. There was a significant increasing in the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years after took Yapong Traditional Dance activities for 3 weeks in 10 meetings.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of classroom management in enhancing creativity among young children. Early childhood creativity is a crucial aspect of their development that influences innovative thinking and problemsolving abilities. Effective classroom management has the potential to be a significant factor in facilitating and enhancing creativity among young children. A qualitative research method is utilized in this study, focusing on exploring classroom management practices that support the creativity of young children. This research will involve direct observations within classroom contexts, interviews with educators, and document analysis to understand effective classroom management practices. The findings of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the correlation between good classroom management and the development of creativity in young children. The implications of these research findings will offer practical guidance to educators in optimizing classroom management to support the development of creativity among young children.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of academicsupervision of principals in improving the professionalism of PAUD teachers. Thetype of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources inthis study were the principal and three teachers. The data collection techniques usedwere interviews and field notes. Data analysis by reducing data, presenting data,and verifying data. The research findings indicate that school principals mentorteachers to enhance their professionalism, improve their knowledge and skills, andenhance the quality of education. Inhibiting factors include teacher absenteeismand nervousness during supervision. Supporting factors include positive teacher response and good relationships between all parties involved.

Abstract

his research aims to describe the curriculum management implementation process at the primary school level. The phenomenon of changing times is unavoidable, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, which has necessitated rapid changes in all aspects of human life, including education. Therefore, there has been a curriculum change in the Republic of Indonesia with the emergence of the "Merdeka Belajar " (Freedom to Learn) Curriculum as an alternative solution to address this phenomenon. The research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were obtained through direct observation, documentation, and interviews with the school principal, Grade I, II, IV, and VI class teachers at SDN 01 Gayam Kota Kediri. This study seeks to uncover the curriculum transition process from the K-13 curriculum to the "Merdeka Belajar " curriculum in primary education units. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the "Merdeka Belajar " curriculum management is going well. The process includes planning and preparation through training and workshops, implementing learning based on the "Merdeka Belajar " curriculum, and continuous evaluation of the achievement of learning outcomes (CP). The "Merdeka Belajar " Curriculum Management process is effective and efficient.

Abstract

While learning Al-Quran Hadith, some students often encounter several obstacles,one of which is the aspect of reading the Al-Quran. Not a few of them are still notfluent when reading the Al-Quran and have not applied it fashohah appropriate,as well as the application of makharijul letters and tajwid. The purpose of writingthis research is to see the level of success of the tahsin method in improving andimproving students' reading of the Al-Quran so that students can read the Al-Qurancorrectly according to the pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters and the correctrules for reciting tajwid. This research uses the method of Systematic LiteratureReview (SLR) which means reviewing the results of previous research regardingthe application of the tahsin method to improve quality fashohah. The results ofthis research show that the tahsin method can improve the quality of fashohahstudents, one of which is in the application of Al-Quran Hadith learning. This isbecause the tahsin method is suitable for various groups, especially children, forwhom at the elementary school or madrasah ibtidaiyah level it is the foundationfor further learning.

Abstract

The aim this research is to find out the teacher's strategy in instilling religious andmoral values in the child. This research uses a type of descriptive qualitativeresearch with data collection techniques through observations, interviews anddocumentation. As for the respondents in this study, one head of school and twoteachers. The results show that the strategies used by teachers in cultivatingreligious and moral values are carried out through routineactivities to saygreetings and shaking hands, activities to play together with respect for each other,activities of worship dhuha every morning, activities giving to each other everyFriday, activities reading short surah and doing daily and sholawat, as well asactivities of eating together. In addition, children are taught tolerance or mutualrespect for religious differences.
