Journal of Community Service and Society Empowerment (JCSSE) accepts articles on community service results in the fields of development, empowerment, community strengthening, and the results of activities or practical implementations of community service, empowerment, or strengthening that are problem-solving, comprehensive, meaningful, and sustainable, with clear goals. Various community services and empowerment activities must have novelty (have innovation and creativity) so that they do not just replicate the same activities in different places, have measurable results and impacts on society, and support the achievement of the goals set out in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs are a global action plan agreed upon by world leaders to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the environment. The SDGs contain 17 Goals and 169 Targets, so each article must be linked to these goals and targets (as stated in the contribution statement). Therefore, JCSSE accepts articles from Indonesian authors and other countries that have not been offered for publication elsewhere.

Abstract

Ketahanan ekonomi ialah aspek penting yang wajib untuk terwujud dimasyarakat. Hal ini terjadi karena ketahanan ekonomi berkaitan erat dengan kualitas hidup, kemandirian, dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu dalam mewujudkannya perlu kontribusi berbagai pihak seperti pemerintah daerah dan juga perguruan tinggi. sebagai salah satu aktor utama dalam mencapai aspek tersebut, maka perguruan tinggi dapat berperan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pada pengimplementasian kali ini wilayah Tulungagung menjadi wilayah sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Sebagaimana skala prioritas pembangunan di Tulungagung yaitu meningkatkan upaya penangunggulangan kemiskinan melalui peningkatan sumber daya, sehingga mampu berdikari meningkatkan ekonomi dan daya saing melalui pengelolaan potensi unggulan daerah. Disamping itu program pemberdayaan ekonomi yang diberikan kepada wanita yang non-produktif, petani akhirnya dipekerjakan di Bangoan Collection Center Tulungagung. Permasalahan prioritas yang dihadapi masalah pengelolaan/manajemen sampah, Wilayah Tulungagung terkenal dengan kota industry terdapatbanyak sampah yang berserakan tentu berakibat fatal yaitu pencemaran lingkungan mengganggu kebersihan dan kesehatan warga sekitar. Selain itu perempuan usia non produktif dapat diberdayakan sebagai penopang ketahanan ekonomi keluarga memiliki peran ganda yang bisa menjalankan peranan rangkapnya, yaitu terhadap keluarga juga terhadap masyarakat. Proses pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kegiatan daur ulang sampah berjalan cukup baik. Para pekerja diajarkan untuk bisa mengolah sampah dari awal proses pemilah di Bangoan Collection Center adalah ketika botol yang masuk dalam keadaan kotor hingga terkontaminasi. Tahap Pelatihan Daur Ulang Sampah dalam meningkatkan Ketahanan Ekonomi Masyarakat di Bangoan Collection Center Tulungagung Jawa Timur dilakukan dengan Penggunaan metode PLA dalam pelatihan ini terdiri dari soft skill dan hard skill. Soft skill merupakan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh individu secara alami yang mencakup kecerdasan, baik emosional maupun sosial, komunikasi atau berinteraksi dengan individu lain, dan semacamnya. Hard skill sendiri lebih dekat kaitannya dengan kemampuan bekerja. Tahap Pendampingan Daur Ulang Sampah dalam meningkatkan Ketahanan Ekonomi Masyarakat dilakukan dengan pendamping menggunakan strategi pendekatan partisipatoris, guna lebih meyakinkan masyarakat tentang apa yang akan dilakukan sehingga bisa memunculkan potensi-potensi yang belum mereka sadari. Selain itu pendamping disini berposisi sebagai partnerships bagi masyarakat. Masyarakat sendiri sebagai subyek atau pelaku utama proses pemberdayaan ini

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness plays a crucial role in disease prevention efforts. Without attention to environmental cleanliness, this pandemic will never end. This community service program aims to (1) instill awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness from adolescence, (2) enhance understanding of the significance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and health, and (3) teach the habit of proper waste disposal. The goal is to create a comfortable, clean, healthy, and beautiful environment for teenagers to play and learn. To achieve this goal, the program employs several methods. The first phase is an approach where the service team adapts to teenagers. The second phase involves setting an example of proper waste disposal. The third phase provides guidance and education on the importance of environmental cleanliness and its consequences if neglected. One of the major issues in this environment is the lack of public waste bins, which gives teenagers an excuse not to dispose of trash properly. To address this problem, the fourth phase involves the creation of trash bins to be placed in public areas and mosques, along with organizing community clean-up activities. Finally, the evaluation phase is used to measure the program's success among teenagers in the Dusun Mandar Desa Labuhan Haji. The results of this program show that teenagers in the community now have an understanding and a caring attitude towards the environment.

Abstract

The digital entrepreneurship-based human resource development program has been implemented in Wargamekar Village with the aim of enhancing the potential of cassava tape gastronomic tourism. This article addresses the challenges faced by cassava tape entrepreneurs regarding their limited understanding of the importance of digital technology adoption and branding in business development. The implementation method encompasses activities such as introducing the concepts of gastronomic tourism, digital entrepreneurship, social media marketing, as well as field mentoring. Consultation sessions and coaching provide personal guidance in developing digital skills and branding strategies. The program evaluation results indicate a high level of participant satisfaction. Participants have gained an understanding of gastronomic tourism concepts and the utilization of digital technology to optimize cassava tape businesses. Field mentoring enriches the history of cassava tape and enhances participants' comprehension of local cultural values. Consultation sessions and coaching have successfully developed a stronger brand identity and branding strategy. Recommendations for further activities include expanding field mentoring and broadening the topics covered in consultation and coaching. This program is expected to continue benefiting cassava tape entrepreneurs in Wargamekar Village and enhancing the potential of cassava tape businesses in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service aims for both teachers and education staff to be able to implement digital literacy-based activities that use storyjumper and storytelling media for students at the MI Raden Rahmat school. The research method used is a combination (Mixed Research) by adopting the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. There are 5 stages in implementing community service, namely: problem identification, action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. Observations are carried out in two ways, namely observation and tests. Based on the results obtained, data on educators' knowledge in using storyjumper and storytelling media with an average score of 76.30. The score obtained was described as very good. In conclusion, overall the researchers have carried out the activities well, but educators need to use storyjumper and storytelling media themselves to apply to students when learning at the MI Raden Rahmat school

Abstract

The agro-tourism pilot project in the village of Bojongnangka began at the end of 2021 with the construction of a tourist attraction, Gatra Kencana, an educational tourism destination for rice fields. Even though the tourist destination is built on top of the rice fields, the rice fields can still be planted with rice with homemade organic fertilizers. However, to become an agro-tourism village has not be followed with the development of tourism human resources and agro-tourism packages so that the beneficiaries have not be extended to the Bojongnangka village community. The absence of tourism activists who manage tour operations and the absence of tour packages to collaborate with community participation are challenges in developing this village. The methods used in this community service include the making of agro-tourism community groups, focused group discussions on agro-tourism, and theoretical and practical training carried out by the Village Community Empowerment Program (P2MD) team of Hospitality Management Study Program Dian Nuswantoro University. Finally, through deliberations with village officials and representatives of residents, an agreement was reached in the form of making an agro-tourism community group which was ratified through a Decree from the Head of Bojongnangka Village, 5 agro-tourism packages, and integration of tourism businesses to make Gatra Kencana a tourism icon in Bojongnangka Village. Moreover, the team also develop empowerment program of MSMEs in agro-tourism packages, signing a memorandum of understanding with the Association of Indonesian Tour Guides of Central Java Chapter and creating a display gallery to exhibit agro-tourism products of Bojongnangka village community.

Abstract

The multicultural diversity of Indonesia is a gift to be preserved in harmony and unity.As societies in the practice of religion want peace, harmony and abundance in the exercise of each other's beliefs without any pressure and intimidation from the surrounding environment. The village of Palalangon, which is in the Ciranjang district, Cianjur district is an area that upholds high values of tolerance. This paradigm is based on the methods of implementation in the service of this society by observation, interview and socialization from house to house conducted to the government (to the people), the figures of the community (ad/sepuh) religious figures, and some communities. Palalangon is a village located in Ciranjang county, Cianjur county is one of the villages in which the majority of Christians live. Palalangon itself entered the territory of Kertajaya or entered in the government of kertajaya. There are at least 15 ethnic groups in the village of Kertajaya.Some of the indicators of success in socialization include the ability to express the attitudes of religious tolerance that should continue in everyday life and the values of Silih Asih, Silih Asah, and Silih Asuh can be noble values for the realization and development of the attitude of religion's tolerance.

Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan publik di Indonesia belum menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah minimnya kontribusi lembaga penelitian dan pengembangan dalam memberikan masukan untuk penanganan pengaduan dalam pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penelitian yang dilakukan dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir dari perspektif penanganan pengaduan dalam pelayanan publik di Indonesia, dengan menggunakan empat dimensi kinerja pengelolaan pengaduan lembaga pemerintah yang dituangkan dalam Peraturan Presiden Republik Indonesia No. 76 Tahun 2013 tentang Pengelolaan Pengaduan Pelayanan Publik. Dimensi ini mencakup aktivitas akun, jumlah dan status laporan, kecepatan tindak lanjut, dan kualitas pengaduan tindak lanjut. Penelitian menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review dengan sumber data dari Portal Garuda-Indonesian Publication Index (IPI). Ditemukan 21 artikel yang menggunakan kata kunci "penanganan keluhan" dan dikelompokkan berdasarkan dimensi penelitian yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah penelitian terkait penanganan pengaduan di Indonesia masih belum memadai. Selain itu, temuan penelitian ini tidak menunjukkan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan manajemen keluhan. Meskipun demikian, masih ada potensi yang signifikan untuk penelitian tentang penanganan keluhan. Dengan memperluas sumber informasi, seperti memasukkan artikel internasional, temuan dapat menjadi lebih luas dan inklusif, baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Untuk mewujudkan peningkatan kualitas pengelolaan penanganan pengaduan di Indonesia, diperlukan dukungan dan kerjasama pemerintah dengan berbagai instansi terkait.

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah salah satu cara memperkenalkan teknis layanan publik dari proses langkah demi langkah pengembangan sistem administrasi online. Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat memahami dalam pelaksanaan langkah adminitrasi publik itu masih ada metode teknis lapangan lainnya. Dengan mengadakan pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat di lokasi, mempelajari keputusan sistem pelaksanaan dealer resmi mobil pada mengacu teknis lapangan mewrupakan salah satunya unsur adalah sistem website mereka. Unsur kepercayaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam sebuah website memang memperpermudah tata kelola Perusahaan yang dinamika adalah benar untuk suatu kepercayaan publik mereka terhadap jangkauan jarak marketing mempromosikan produk secara re-kognisi sosial. Temuan studi kasus masalah lokasi kami menemukan adanya tantangan dan hambatan administrasi publik yang belum dapat dipahami oleh Pengguna akses online memahami pengaruh website mereka terhadap dampak dinamika media online yang dinamis. Kesimpulan hasil keputusan kami mempelajari metode pendekatan tradisi marketing promosi mengangkat merek produk menggunakan website untuk memperoleh administrasi marketing komunikasi perusahaan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi metode penelitian yang diterapkan di UPT Pelatihan Kerja Jember. Analisis ini akan membantu kita memahami secara lebih mendalam potensi dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh lembaga ini dalam mengoptimalkan perannya dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan pemenuhan kebutuhan industri dan pertanian di Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, melalui proses analisis melibatkan beberapa tahap penting, termasuk pembuatan matriks TOWS/SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi faktor strategis internal dan eksternal, yang mencakup produksi, sumber daya manusia, keuangan, pemasaran, persaingan, kondisi ekonomi, kebijakan pemerintah, kondisi politik, teknologi, dan aspek sosial budaya. Hasil Analisis SWOT dan Analisis General Electrics (GE) menunjukkan bahwa posisi strategis dan arah pengembangan UPT BLKI Jember memiliki kekuatan kompetitif lemah dan nilai daya tarik usaha menengah. Sehingga strategi yang dapat ditempuh adalah melakukan spesialisasi, mencari potensi yang bisa dikembangkan, dan mempertimbangkan menghapus beberapa pelayanan. Strategi pengembangan yang yang dapat dilakukan adalah pada pengembangan pelatihan swadana (biaya sendiri) ataupun pelatihan kerjasama. Strategi lainya adalah mengoptimalkan fungsi Mobile Training Unit (MTU) untuk menjangkau daerah pelayanan yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Issues related to waste do not only occur in urban environments. Coastal areas are also not free from issues related to waste. Not only rubbish from the local community but rubbish from tourists also contributes to the large amount of trash in coastal areas. Waste that is not appropriately managed in the environment can be a source of disease. For this reason, it is necessary to increase public knowledge regarding waste processing to prevent the emergence of disease. Apart from that, the public is educated regarding the disease's symptoms and how to treat it. This community service activity occurred in Watu Ulo, Sumberejo Village, Ambulu SubDistrict, Jember Regency. The training was attended by 23 participants who were coastal youth. The results obtained were based on gender; the majority are male, and based on the occupation, the majority are fishermen, and the knowledge of respondents increased after counselling. Conclusion From this training, there has been increased respondents' knowledge through education about waste management socialization.
