Abstract

This study discusses the project based learning model and its relationship to students' understanding in their learning. The method used in this study is a literature study by analyzing various relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Religious Education learning is still carried out using conventional methods or lectures that are centered on teachers and students only become listeners, making the atmosphere less interesting and causing a lack of student understanding of the material taught by the teacher. By using the project based learning model approach in Islamic Religious Education learning, students become more active in learning, so that they have the opportunity to develop the material they have obtained. This model constructs student understanding through projects that are worked on, problem solving and experience. So that students have the potential to improve their understanding of Islamic Religious Education material

Abstract

SMP-IT Al-Jabar Karawang is an Islamic private educational institution that combines the Qur'an memorization program with the Merdeka Curriculum approach and an all-day school system. This school aims to produce a superior Qur'anic generation, with modern management and adequate facilities. This study aims to assess how effective the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching model in the digital era is in improving student learning outcomes. The methodology used was a quasi-experiment with a pre-test and post-test design involving two groups: a control group and an experimental group. All groups had two meetings before the final assessment using a post-test. The results showed the average N-Gain value of the control class as 0.5 (low category), but for the experimental class it could reach 0.65 (medium category). This shows that the application of digital-based PAI learning models is more successful in improving student learning outcomes than traditional methods. Therefore, digital-based learning models can be the way that is appropriate and can adapt to incorporating Islamic values into education in this modern era.

Abstract

This study examines the narrative transformation of the story of Joseph in the perspective of Julia Kristeva's intertextuality through a comparative analysis between Genesis 37-50 (Bible) and Surah Yusuf (Qur'an). This study aims to: (1) identify patterns of text adaptation, (2) analyze the mechanism of narrative transmission, and (3) reveal the theological implications of the intertextuality process. The research method uses a qualitative approach with comparative textual analysis techniques. The data were analyzed through three stages: (1) identification of text parallels, (2) mapping of narrative transformation (including reduction, amplification, and re-emphasization), and (3) interpretation of theological impact. The study is strengthened by referring to authoritative commentaries from both traditions. The results show three main findings: First, the Qur'ān simplifies the narrative (haplology) of the etiological and psychological elements found in the biblical version. Second, there is an amplification of the divine aspects and moral values in the Qur'ānic version. Third, this transformation reflects an adjustment to the Islamic theological framework while maintaining the core prophetic message. This research contributes to the comparative study of scripture by showing how intertextuality operates in sacred space. The findings enrich the understanding of the transmission dynamics of the prophetic tradition in the heavenly religions.

Abstract

Islamic character in the youth is significantly influenced by various factors, Including religious education and their psychological understanding of Islamic teachings. This study aims to explore how the psychology of religion plays a role in the formation of Islamic character in the youth of Indonesia. In this study, the psychology of religion is understood as the science that examines the impact of religion on an individual's psychological development, including in the aspects of morality and ethics. The formation of Islamic character in the youth can be carried out through an integrative approach, combining the principles of psychology with Islamic values. This research uses a qualitative approach by analyzing literature and case studies related to the psychology of religion and Islamic education in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that the application of psychology of religion in education can form a strong Islamic character by instilling moral values in accordance with Islamic teachings, such as honesty, discipline, and empathy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of Islamic Religious Education teaching material products using an interdisciplinary approach through a literature review method. The review was conducted by analyzing various literatures, journals, and previous research related to teaching material development, interdisciplinary approaches, and Islamic Religious Education learning. The results of the review show that the interdisciplinary approach in developing Islamic Religious Education teaching materials can broaden students' perspectives, connect Islamic values with various fields of knowledge, and enhance the relevance of the material to real-life contexts. These findings emphasize the importance of teaching material innovation that not only focuses on the cognitive aspects of religion but also integrates social, cultural, scientific, and technological aspects. This study recommends that the development of interdisciplinary-based Islamic Religious Education teaching materials continue to be encouraged to support more contextual and holistic learning.

Abstract

The Medina Charter is the first written constitution initiated by the Prophet Muhammad SAW with the people of Medina. The background of the people of Medina is very diverse so that this constitution plays an important role in regulating and realizing unity and peace in Medina. This is certainly in line with Indonesia's very diverse conditions. Indonesia also uses a democratic system in its government. The values contained in the Medina Charter are in line with the concept of democracy although not directly. The Medina Charter has the same principles in the implementation of democracy proposed by David Held. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a type of historical research and literature study instruments to find information. The findings are that the values contained in the Medina Charter have relevance to the principles of democracy such as the principles of freedom, equality, justice, tolerance, openness, participation and responsibility. This research aims to understand the democratic values in the Medina Charter so that it can be used as a reference in facing challenges and improving democracy in Indonesia in modern times. The novelty of this research discusses in detail the seven principles of democracy in the Medina Charter and Democracy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam membentuk motivasi dan niat belajar siswa melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), dengan menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain penelitian kepustakaan, dengan fokus pada sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder seperti buku-buku, artikel jurnal, dan teks-teks Islam klasik. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai-nilai seperti keikhlasan (ikhlas), kesabaran (sabr), dan mengejar ilmu sebagai ibadah berkontribusi untuk membangun motivasi intrinsik yang kuat. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam, jika dikombinasikan dengan prinsip-prinsip dari psikologi pendidikan seperti Teori Penentuan Nasib Sendiri dan Hirarki Kebutuhan Maslow dapat berfungsi sebagai media yang ampuh untuk menumbuhkan pertumbuhan spiritual dan psikologis siswa. Integrasi ini tidak hanya memperkuat keterlibatan akademis siswa tetapi juga membentuk karakter holistik yang didasarkan pada fondasi agama dan psikologis. Implikasinya menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Islam harus secara eksplisit tertanam dalam strategi pengajaran PAI untuk meningkatkan niat dan motivasi siswa untuk belajar. Makalah ini berkontribusi pada wacana tentang pembelajaran berbasis nilai dan menawarkan wawasan teoritis bagi para pendidik, pengembang kurikulum, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tantangan dan peluang digitalisasi di Pesantren An-Nur 2, dengan fokus pada konsep inklusi digital. Dalam era digital yang semakin modern, pesantren dihadapkan pada tuntutan untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman dan mempersiapkan santri menjadi generasi masa depan yang cerdas, kreatif, dan inovatif dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi, serta data sekunder dari jurnal ilmiah dan sumber terpercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren menghadapi kesenjangan digital, namun terdapat peluang inklusi digital melalui ketersediaan infrastruktur, kerjasama dengan pihak luar, dan kesadaran akan pentingnya literasi digital. Pesantren An-Nur 2 telah mengambil langkah-langkah penting dalam memahami kebutuhan infrastruktur teknologi, namun masih terdampak kesenjangan digital. Untuk mewujudkan inklusi digital, diperlukan kerjasama dari berbagai pihak terkait. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang tantangan dan peluang digitalisasi di kalangan santri, serta menekankan pentingnya kerjasama lintas sektor untuk mencapai inklusi digital yang adil dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the forms of honesty values, the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers, as well as obstacles and solutions in instilling honesty values ​​in students of SMP Negeri 5 Sangatta Utara. The phenomenon of dishonesty in the school environment shows a gap between religious understanding and students' moral practices. Using a qualitative research type with a phenomenological approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman techniques, namely data condensation, data presentation, verification/conclusion. The results of the study showed three forms of honesty values: not playing truant, doing assignments well, and an honesty canteen program. Islamic Religious Education teachers act as role models, motivators, and integrate honesty values ​​into extracurricular activities (Rebana/Habsyi). The obstacles faced include student boredom, lack of approach, and the influence of the environment and parents who are less supportive. The solutions implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers are to provide motivation, be role models, build close relationships with students and parents, and utilize religious values ​​through extracurricular activities such as Rebana/Habsyi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the firmness of educators in giving sanctions to students at MAN 1 Buol, this study also aims to ensure tthat the giving of sanctions continues to prioritize educational principles, in accordance with government regulations and the code of ethics of educators, and involves good communication between educators, parents and students. The research method used in this study is a secriptive qualitative method with a field approach to describe the phenomenon in depth. Date were collected through observation and interview, with five educators and five students, and using documentation related to the research. The results of the study showed that the firmness of educators in giving sanctions includes three aspects: enforcement of rules, self control, and creation of a harmonious atmosphere. Sanctions are given in stages, starting from light sanctions (verbal warnings, confiscation of goods), moderate sanctions (calling parents, statement letters), to severe sanctions (suspension or expulsion from School). The impact of the firmness of giving sanctions is an increase in student discipline, although it is necessary to be aware of the sanctions given are not in accordance with the rules set, such as trauma from students.
