Abstract

Multicultural means consisting of various ethnicities, religions, races and cultures, one of the things that the Indonesian people are grateful for because they can understand the differences between various styles and societies. One of the tribes that is of concern is the Arab and Chinese tribes, where these two tribes have many differences, starting from cultural habits and so on. This is interesting because the differences between the two are whether they are the beginning of division or the beginning of unity. Including in Suabaya itself there are two villages representing Arab and Chinese tribes. The Arab ethnic group found in the city of Surabaya or more in the Sunan Ampel area is mostly no longer native to the Arab ethnic group, but rather a mixture of Arab and Javanese ethnicities, but even so, the biological characteristics of the Arab ethnic group continue to be inherited by people who are of ethnic descent. the Arabic. so that we can distinguish whether they are of Arab ethnic descent or not, one of them is through their physical appearance, where women of Arab ethnic origin have sharp noses and white skin and they also always decorate their faces with black eyeshadow wherever they are, whereas for women Men of Arab ethnicity also have sharp noses and long or bushy beards. Meanwhile, the Chinese tribe stands with a characteristic physical form such as slanted eyes and another cultural tradition in Chinatown village, namely the moon cake celebration. This moon cake is shaped like the moon, namely round and contains various kinds of fillings such as nuts. This makes tolerance the basis for caring for differences, such as different livelihoods and different habits. This must be the framework for caring for unity. Their characteristics must be well cared for but also not abandon their mutual respect for each other. This is the essence of Indonesia's goal in the 1945 Constitution, namely to become a sovereign, independent, united, prosperous and prosperous country.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach to evaluate the effectiveness of traffic signs in improving road safety in Indonesia. Through a series of methods, including direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study, this research aims to understand how traffic signs contribute to road safety and what factors influence their effectiveness. The results show that traffic signs play an important role in controlling traffic flow and preventing accidents. However, their effectiveness is often hindered by several factors. First, a lack of understanding by road users about traffic signs. Second, poor maintenance of traffic signs. Third, weak law enforcement. Based on these findings, this research recommends several steps to improve the effectiveness of traffic signs. First, increasing public education about the importance of obeying traffic signs. Second, routine and quality maintenance and repair of traffic signs. Third, stronger and consistent law enforcement against traffic violations. This research hopes that with the implementation of these recommendations, the effectiveness of traffic signs in improving road safety can be increased.

Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is currently upon us, thanks to globalization. People's thoughts, lifestyles, and interpersonal relationships are radically shifting because of the Revolution in Industrialization. Using the Internet of Things to apply the third wave of scientific and technological advancements is one of the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Soon, the Smart shopping, smart homes, smart cities, and smart gadgets will all become commonplace, luring consumers to coexist peacefully. Indonesian nationals can utilize easy methods to stay up to date with the swift progress of technology. To entice individuals to come back and realize that Pancasila is the ethos for an independent and advanced Indonesia, It is envisaged that the Pancasila ideology will enable a region home to people with diverse social, economic, and physical disabilities to become developed and home to people whose standard of living is equivalent to or greater than that of other Indonesian communities. Research utilizing methods for gathering data from libraries, or studies whose research objects are analyzed through scientific journals, is what is known as literature review research. The first principle calls for the incorporation of Pancasila values into religious institutions while honoring variations in embraced beliefs or points of view. The value of humanity is the subject of the second transformation principle, which gives priority to an individual's inalienable human rights. In addition, the third transformation principle is applied towards national unity and integrity, making all Indonesian people work together to develop the industrial revolution 4.0 by making cultural adaptations. In addition, the fifth principle demands that everyone is treated equally and justice is sought for all Indonesians. This transformation can happen if everyone works together at all levels to make Pancasila the basis of industrial civilization. The Indonesian government and society will be strategically impacted by changes to Pancasila. Changes to Pancasila customs are intended to raise awareness Pancasila as a lifestyle that the founding fathers left behind. Pancasila should therefore be accepted as a prerequisite for working on national issues in a variety of domains, including social, economic, legal, and scientific and technological.. As a result, Indonesia will continue to hold fast to the values of Pancasila while modernizing.

Abstract

Students' understanding of the subject matter has a great influence on achieving the learning objectives especially in mathematical learning because students' critical thinking skills can be enhanced by learning mathematics using an inquiry-based learning model. The reasons for the improvement of students' critical thinking skills towards learning mathematics and can be called mathematical problem solving abilities are taken from the learning objectives listed in Permendiknas No. 22 Year 2006, in which the importance of this variable of mathematic problem-solving ability to each student is listed. This research uses qualitative research methods with facts found in the field. The data collection technique used is to give a description test to a high school student. The research population is the entire students of the eighth grade of 26 private high school students Jambi Medan. As a result of the application of the learning inquiry model in the private high school in Jambi Medan, students can respond well so that students are more active in the learning process. Abstract

The curriculum provides an overview of the country's educational goals. According to this view, the curriculum becomes the foundation or outlook on life. How is the learning of PPKn subjects after the 2013 curriculum change policy to an independent curriculum at SMPN 1 Plumpang. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Qualitative research methods are the right type of research method to reveal a person's perceptions only through direct contact. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Plumpang. The researcher's data collection technique was to conduct interviews with PPKn teachers then collect, conclude and describe changes from K13 to the Independent Curriculum. This curriculum change has had both positive and negative impacts. In the 2013 curriculum, Civics subjects have been improved from before. in the independent curriculum, the PPKn subject is helped by the existence of the Pancasila Student Profile which aims to create student identity in Indonesia. The implementation of the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum in the PPKn subject is not much different. This is because the content presented to students is the same. Apart from that, implementing it in the 2013 curriculum is more difficult because of the lack of training for teachers, whereas in the independent curriculum it is easier because it is more flexible and is helped by the existence of the Pancasila Student Profile.
