Abstract

This study aims to explore behavioral leadership theory from an Islamic perspective, particularly in the context of education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research examines how Islamic values such as syura (consultation), amanah (trust), ‘adl (justice), and khalifah (stewardship) are reflected in the behavior of educational leaders in Islamic institutions. Data were collected through literature review, in-depth interviews, and participatory observation. The findings indicate that effective leadership behavior in Islamic education involves a balance between task orientation and relationship orientation, as outlined in behavioral leadership theories. Prophet Muhammad SAW is presented as the ideal leadership model who combines strategic vision with strong spiritual and moral values. These findings suggest that behavioral theory can be applied to evaluate and improve leadership styles in Islamic education that are not only professional but also grounded in Islamic principles

Abstract

This research analyses the influence of the reformist thoughts of Rashid Ridha and Muhammad Abduh on the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, this research examines how the modernist ideas of the two figures shaped the transformation of the paradigm of Islamic education in Indonesia. The findings show that the thoughts of Rashid Ridha and Muhammad Abduh significantly influenced the development of modern Islamic educational institutions, curriculum integration, and pedagogical approaches in Indonesia. Their reformist ideas contributed to the establishment of modern Islamic schools, the integration of religious and general sciences, and the development of rational Islamic thought. This research contributes to understanding the historical roots of Islamic education modernisation in Indonesia and its relevance to contemporary education development.

Abstract

Liberalism and Islamare two ways in different directions. Although both are often juxtaposed in every discussion of scholars, it is very difficult to put together. Islamis a religion that is assumed to the word of God through"the"book"of"the"Quran"and the hadith"of"the"Apostle, where each of its adherents has boundaries in carrying out life to survive in the world and the hereafter, while liberalism comes as an ideology that emphasizes the rights and freedom of every individual in all aspects of life including religion. This journal aims to present knowledge about"the"impact"of the ideology of liberalism"on"the"thought"of"the"Islamic Ummah. This study involved related literature analysis of academic sources, including theoretical works and thoughts of scholars andIslamicthinkers."The"conclusion"that"can"be"drawn"from"this"study"isthat"the"understanding"of"liberalism is still widely adopted by the Islamic Ummah even though the ideology of liberalism is very"contrary"to"the"teachings"of"Islam", this"is"due"to"the"weak religious education in every individual of the Islamic Ummah itself which then considers that Islamic rules curb human freedom.

Abstract

This conceptual study examines the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PBL) model, supported by digital media tools such as Simplebooklet and Canva, in Social Studies learning for sixth-grade students at SDN 1 Bangoan. The study arises from the need for contextual, engaging, and student-centred learning as a response to the typically theoretical and less interactive nature of Social Studies instruction. Through the integration of digital media, students can engage in meaningful projects that foster critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and digital literacy. The learning process includes stages such as problem formulation, project planning, product development, and reflection. This study presents a conceptual overview showing that implementing the PjBL model with the support of Simplebooklet and Canva can enhance student engagement and strengthen understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

PTK was conducted at SMAN 2 Pasuruan with one class as the subject of the research. The purpose of the CAR is to increase students' motivation to learn by using Quizziz learning media. The research was conducted in two cycles, with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection as part of it. The results of the study indicate that the use of Quizziz can increase students' desire to learn. Based on the results of the PTK conducted in class X of SMAN 2 Pasuruan on increasing students' learning motivation by using Quizziz learning media in mathematics learning. In cycle 1, the percentage of students' learning motivation was 74%. Furthermore, in the second cycle, the percentage of students' learning motivation was 83%. With this statement, students' learning motivation increased by 9%. With each quiz given, students become more active and compete healthily. The results show that Quizziz can be used as a useful learning tool to encourage students to learn more. This study found that Quizziz can increase students' motivation and have a positive effect on their learning outcomes.

Abstract

The This study uses a descriptive statistical approach to analyze the level of student satisfaction with campus facilities at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. Data were obtained through an online questionnaire using a simple random sampling method with 36 respondents. The questionnaire covered four categories of facilities: general, technology and accessibility, academic support, and campus and infrastructure. The analysis involved calculating percentage, probability, mathematical expectation, variance, and standard deviation. The results showed that library comfort had the highest satisfaction score (expected = 4.06), while the Wi-Fi connection had the lowest score (expected = 3.06, deviation = 1.39), indicating dissatisfaction and an uneven perception. Other aspects, such as academic guidance by lecturers (expectation = 3.86), toilet facilities (expectation = 3.83), and laboratories (expectation = 3.72), showed good satisfaction levels. These findings provide a strong basis for the campus to improve low-scoring areas and maintain areas that meet student expectations.

Abstract

The Baiq Nuril case is a clear reflection of the political problems of criminal law in Indonesia, especially in the context of protecting victims of sexual violence and the application of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (ITE Law). Baiq Nuril, a victim of verbal harassment by her superior, was criminalized through Article 27 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law after she recorded an obscene conversation as a form of self-protection. This research uses a normative juridical approach by analyzing relevant legal instruments and their application in the Baiq Nuril case. The results show that the use of the article contains structural bias and shows an imbalance of perspectives in the criminal justice system, which tends to ignore the position of victims as well as the social context and power relations that surround them. In addition, the article's multiple interpretations open space for criminalization of victims, especially women, instead of providing protection. This case emphasizes the importance of criminal law reform oriented towards substantive justice and in favor of victims, as well as the need to revise the ITE Law so that it does not become a tool of repression against vulnerable groups. The amnesty granted by the President to Baiq Nuril is a political corrective step, but has not touched the root of systemic problems in law enforcement that have not been in favor of victims of gender-based violence.

Abstract

Islamic character education aims to continuously shape individual character by fostering the ability to live according to Islamic guidance. This study aims to explore the following aspects: the reinforcement program, the implementation of reinforcement, determining factors in the reinforcement, and the obstacles encountered in strengthening Islamic character education at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The subjects of the study are the supervisor, principal, and teachers. The findings reveal that: (1) The formulated program is not yet complete or detailed, especially regarding budget allocation for teacher training activities. Nevertheless, the program is implemented as effectively as possible by the principal to strengthen Islamic character education; (2) The program is carried out by involving all school personnel; (3) The principal addresses the determining factors in strengthening Islamic character education through proper monitoring of each programmed activity; and (4) The main obstacle faced is the limited availability of funds for teacher training outside of regular working hours.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the "Let's Get to Know Capital Letters" Board media on the learning outcomes of grade V MINU Waru I students in the Indonesian Language subject. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 28 students. The instrument used was a written test given before and after the treatment. The pretest results showed an average value of 64.5, while the posttest increased to 83.2. Statistical tests showed significant results with a p value = 0.000 (<0.05), which indicates that there is a meaningful difference between before and after using the media. This board media is designed to facilitate students' visual and interactive understanding of capital letter material. The results of the study indicate that this media is effective in improving student learning outcomes. The use of concrete and fun media has been proven to increase student involvement and motivation in the Indonesian Language learning process. Thus, the application of innovative media like this can be an effective strategy to improve the quality of education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the game strategy and formation effectiveness in futsal in college students. Futsal as a fast-paced sport requires the application of the right strategy and effective formation to win. One strategy that is often used is power play, which involves the goalkeeper as an additional player to strengthen the attack. The research method used is descriptive with an observation approach and video analysis of student futsal matches. The data was analyzed to determine the strategy pattern, the type of formation used, and the success of the strategy in creating opportunities and goals. The results showed that the effectiveness of the power play strategy was still relatively low with a success rate of around 6.7%, caused by main factors such as shooting blocked by opponents, inaccurate passing, and loss of ball control. Commonly applied formations are 2-2 and 1-2-1, which provide a balance between defense and attack, but their success is highly dependent on technical ability and coordination between players. Mastery of basic techniques such as passing, control, and shooting are key in executing strategies and formations effectively. This study concludes that the development of basic technical training and improvement of team coordination are very important to improve the effectiveness of game strategies and futsal formations in university students. The adaptation of strategies according to the match situation is also a determining factor in the team's success in the competition.
