Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Abstract

Islamic value-based character education for early childhood plays a strategic role in shaping morals. However, internalization of hadith in early childhood education (PAUD) is still predominantly memorization-based and does not address affective and behavioral aspects. This study aims to describe the strategy for internalizing hadith values ​​in Smart Kindergarten Sukorejo-Kendal and explore children's responses and teachers' challenges. The method used is qualitative phenomenological with observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. Validity is maintained through triangulation and member checking. The results show that the strategy for internalizing hadith through role models, habituation, storytelling, and Islamic songs and games effectively instills the values ​​of honesty, compassion, responsibility, and justice. Children show enthusiasm, remember the contents of the hadith, and imitate the teacher's behavior. Challenges include differences in family backgrounds, minimal home support, and limited media, which are overcome through parental communication and innovative teaching media. Conclusion: The holistic, contextual, and child-centered internalization of hadith values ​​effectively shapes Islamic character and is recommended for implementation in other PAUDs with the support of teacher training and family involvement.

Abstract

Penelitian pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan penguatan kepada para muballigh dan ormas Islam kota Baubau terkait kompetensi metode dakwah yang efektif dengan mengacu pada prinsip-prinsip dan etika dakwah Islam. Perlunya para muballigh memahami literasi Al Quran dan metode dakwah Nabi Muhammad dan mengimplementasikan metode dakwah dengan pendekatan kontekstual dengan merujuk pada karakteristik pendengar yang beragam. Perkembangan zaman dan kemajuan teknologi sebagai bagian dari keniscayaan menjadi tuntutan untuk para muballigh menyesuaikan diri memilih tema, konten, metode bahkan media yang harus digunakan agar materi dakwah menjadi menarik. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya antusias dari peserta pelatihan dan pemahaman baru terkait metode-metode dakwah yang inovatif dan kontekstual pada masa kekinian, terutama para muballig di era modern dipandang perlu dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan tekhnologi, agar pesan-dakwah tidak hanya disampaikan pada ruang-ruang publik tetapi dapat disampaikan di ruang online.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of an environmental exploration approach on elementary school students' understanding of social studies concepts. This study uses a nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design, which is a form of quasi-experimental research method. The population in this study is all fourth-grade students. The sample in this study is class IVA as the experimental class using the JAS approach and IV B as the control class receiving instruction with the lecture method. Data was collected through pre-tests and post-tests. The average score of social studies concept understanding for the experimental class pre-test is not much different from the average score of the control class, which are 64.23 and 65.96, respectively. The difference between the two classes is not too large, which concludes that both classes have similar initial abilities in understanding social studies concepts. After the learning was conducted, the average understanding of social studies concepts in the experimental class was 76.15. Meanwhile, the average post-test score for the control class was 74.62. It can be concluded that the understanding of social studies concepts by students in the experimental class is higher compared to the control class.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with an explanatory approach.. The data used in this study is primary data that the researcher obtained directly from various sources or commonly referred to as primary sources from 295 Pose sandal customers spread throughout Indonesia. The data obtained by the researcher was analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show that the Brand Awareness variable can have a positive relationship direction and a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions because the P-Values ​​value is positive and below the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.001. T. The result of the P-Values ​​value of 0.001 means that Brand Awareness can make a product more famous, widen the product's market share, and ultimately can influence Purchasing Decisions. In addition, the User Generated Content variable can also moderate the influence of the Brand Awareness variable on Purchasing Decisions because the P-Values ​​value also tends to be positive and is below the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.000. Thus, it can be concluded that the first and second hypotheses in this article can be accepted.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam menerapkan prinsip transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan partisipasi dalam pengelolaan keuangan OSIS. Bertempat di SMA Kristen Passo, Kota Ambon, pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop edukatif selama satu hari penuh dengan metode interaktif, praktik simulasi, dan evaluasi berbasis pre-test dan post-test. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah 37 siswa dari kelas X dan XI, terdiri dari pengurus OSIS dan perwakilan siswa lainnya. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan rata-rata nilai sebesar 7,19 yang mencerminkan pemahaman awal siswa yang masih bersifat umum dan belum terstruktur. Setelah mengikuti seluruh sesi pelatihan, hasil post-test meningkat menjadi rata-rata 8,11, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan. Melalui simulasi Rencana Anggaran Kegiatan (RAK) dan Laporan Pertanggungjawaban Keuangan (LPJ), peserta tidak hanya memahami secara konseptual tetapi juga mampu mentransmisikan langkah-langkah penyusunan anggaran secara tepat dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan bersama Kelompok Batik Ciprat Mejasem Timur, Kabupaten Tegal, yang terdiri dari penyandang disabilitas dengan keterbatasan fisik maupun sensorik dan sorang tua penyandang disabilitas. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kelompok melalui penguatan manajemen usaha, pengembangan inovasi produksi, dan pemanfaatan digital marketing dengan pendekatan co-creation. Metode pelaksanaan program meliputi beberapa tahap: (1) persiapan melalui sosialisasi dan koordinasi dengan mitra, (2) pelaksanaan pelatihan meliputi manajemen usaha, teknik pewarnaan alami, batik cap ciprat, serta pemasaran digital, (3) pendampingan penerapan keterampilan yang diperoleh, dan (4) keberlanjutan melalui penataan organisasi, monitoring, evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi manajerial, variasi produk batik ciprat dengan motif khas Mejasem Timur, serta keterampilan pemasaran digital melalui pengelolaan media sosial, katalog digital, dan video profil sinematik. Dampak sosial juga terlihat dari peningkatan kepercayaan diri anggota, pengurangan stigma terhadap penyandang disabilitas, dan penguatan solidaritas komunitas. Program ini terbukti tidak hanya memberdayakan kelompok secara ekonomi, tetapi juga memperkuat posisi sosial mereka dalam masyarakat. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan berbasis co-creation melalui inovasi produksi dan pemasaran digital mampu menjadi model efektif dalam mendukung kemandirian kelompok disabilitas serta mewujudkan desa inklusi yang berdaya dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of principal leadership on teacher readiness, determine and analyze the influence of school climate on teacher readiness, determine and analyze the influence of principal leadership and school climate on teacher readiness in elementary schools throughout Sumpur Kudus District. This study uses a causal correlation study. The population in this study were 256 elementary school teachers in Sumpur Kudus District. The research sample numbered 72 people. The research instruments used were a principal leadership questionnaire, a school climate questionnaire, and a teacher readiness questionnaire. The data collection technique used was distributing questionnaires to respondents who were classified as research samples. The questionnaire used was a closed questionnaire. To analyze the data, the researcher used analysis techniques by conducting a classical assumption test as a prerequisite test, then conducting simple linear regression analysis, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that principal leadership and school climate had a significant influence on teacher readiness in implementing the Independent Curriculum. The respective contributions were 25.2% (moderate) and 27.8% (weak), while the combined contribution of both reached 48.6% (moderate).

Abstract

This study explores symbolic communication in the Belian ritual as a form of alternative healing practiced by the Dayak Basap community in Keraitan Village, Kutai Timur Regency. The Belian ritual is regarded not merely as a healing practice but also as a medium of spiritual communication that connects humans with their ancestors and supernatural forces. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of symbolic communication within the Belian ritual and to interpret the meanings of symbols conveyed by customary leaders, particularly the Kepala Belian (chief shaman). The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnography of communication approach. Data were collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with customary leaders and Belian shamans, and were analyzed using Dell Hymes’ SPEAKING model. The findings reveal that symbolic communication in the Belian ritual is manifested through chants, dances encircling the sriding, the sounds of gongs and drums, offerings, and wooden effigies that represent the patient. These symbols serve as a medium of interaction between humans, ancestors, and spirits believed to be the causes of illness. The Belian ritual functions not only as a traditional medical practice but also as a means of reinforcing cultural identity, fostering social solidarity, and preserving ancestral values.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge of elderly people regarding hypertension and the use of bay leaf decoction. The method applied was observational analytic with 21 elderly respondents suffering from hypertension at Gadingrejo Public Health Center on August 2, 2025. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the health education. The education was delivered through leaflets and practical demonstrations on how to prepare bay leaf decoction. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge scores. The average pretest score of 63.9 increased to 85 in the posttest, with a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05). Almost all respondents experienced an increase in understanding, including those with initially low scores who demonstrated considerable improvement. In conclusion, health education on the use of bay leaf decoction was effective in improving the knowledge of elderly people with hypertension. It is recommended that the elderly utilize this therapy as a complement to medical treatment, with family support and guidance from health workers. Herbal therapy using bay leaves has the potential to be an affordable, easily accessible, and safe alternative for hypertension management in daily life.

Abstract

One of the essential skills in English is Speaking Skill. Speaking must be mastered in learning, but there were some challenges for the students of  Villa Mas Senior high School, Jakarta to make them comfort, easy to pronounce, to say some sentences, to keep in touch  in English, They did not have selves confident to utterance in English, to answer this opportunity in practicing English using retelling story technique. The aim of this research is to know the condition of students in presenting something in English and also the benefits of using that. This research was a qualitative method. The researcher gave motivation for students to brave to speak English and also to remind the students not to shy to speak English and then don’t be afraid to make mistakes, develop some aspects of speaking such as pronunciation  in speaking English, the mindset, mentality,  were built from students in acting this lesson. Based on the result of the research, the students have strong mentality in speaking English in front of class.
