Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Abstract

Determining the nutritional status of toddlers is an important activity in posyandu. However, the skills of Posyandu cadres are still low, especially in using nutritional application. The existence of vocational students can be empowered to assist cadres at Posyandu.This community service activity involved 20 vocational students. They were trained on how to measure height, mid upper arm circumference and head circumference and use the Pacu Tumbuh Calculator application. Each student took anthropometric measurements at the Posyandu and assessed the nutritional status of children based on height for age, MUAC for age and height for age indices. The total number of children measured was 80 children. Before the training, almost all students did not have skill in doing anthropometric measurements and using the nutritional calculator application. After the training, all (100%) students were skilled in using calculator application, 90% were skilled in assessing nutritional status and 80% were skilled in determining the form of children's food. Around 25% of children under five were stunting. A total 25,0% children stunted and 16.3% were categorized middle MUAC. Vocational students can be used to caders in posyandu to carry out anthropometric measurements and nutritional status assessments.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key factor in determining the success of village governance, particularly in providing effective, efficient, and accountable public services. This study aims to determine employee performance at the North Bontolangasa Village Office, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing methods. The results indicate that the performance of North Bontolangasa Village employees is generally quite good, as evidenced by their ability to carry out administrative tasks, financial management, and public services. However, several obstacles remain that impact performance, including low employee discipline, limited work facilities and infrastructure, and minimal use of information technology in village administration. The study concludes that strategies to improve employee performance include improving employee discipline and motivation, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, and training in the use of information technology in administration and public services.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a student worksheet (LKPD) oriented toward the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to support Civics Education (PPKn) in the topic of deliberation for Grade IV students at SDN 39 Pontianak Kota. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach by adapting the ADDIE model, involving 27 students, one classroom teacher, and three expert validators. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The development process followed four stages: Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation. The validity results showed that the design aspect scored 88.00%, the language aspect 95.00%, and the material aspect 91.66%, all categorized as “Highly Valid.” Furthermore, the practicality of the LKPD was rated at 90.06%, falling under the “Highly Practical” category. These results indicate that the developed PBL-oriented LKPD is both valid and practical for use in supporting effective learning in Civics Education for elementary school.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology today has driven major changes in the beauty industry, along with the increasing public awareness of skincare. In attracting consumers, effective marketing strategies are essential, one of which is through the utilization of user-generated content and product bundling. This study aims to analyze the influence of User-Generated Content and Product Bundling on Consumer Purchase Decisions for Glad2Glow products in Medan City. The research method employed is quantitative with an associative approach, using a sample of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that User-Generated Content (t = 5.118 > 1.984) and Product Bundling (t = 6.406 > 1.984) have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect purchase decisions with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.600, which means that 60% of the variation in purchase decisions can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 40% is influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings provide empirical insights into the contribution of user-generated content and product bundling in influencing consumer purchase decisions within the context of beauty products in Medan City.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the Quranic and Tafsir literacy of young people so they can counter digital disinformation, particularly on religious issues. Based on a community service learning model (KKN) that combines experience and community involvement, this research equips young people with critical thinking skills regarding online information and the application of Quranic principles in their lives. The training program for 15–25 year olds includes Quranic analysis, Tafsir practice, and discussions on identifying disinformation, complemented by simulations and reflective exercises. Results show increased knowledge, critical awareness, and the ability of participants to recognize and counter religious disinformation. This research bridges religious education and digital literacy by offering effective tools for young people to navigate the digital era without abandoning religious values. This study is unique because it integrates Quranic and Tafsir literacy with community service, thus presenting a new approach to empowering young people to face the challenges of modern education and misinformation..

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources in rural areas is a significant challenge in achieving equal education in Indonesia, particularly in areas such as Tumbang Nusa Village, Jabiren Raya District, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan. Low awareness of the importance of education and limited access to English language learning are factors that hinder the development of the younger generation's potential. This community service activity aims to increase the awareness and basic English language skills through a participatory and contextual approach based on the school community. The implementation method includes interactive training, song-based and visual learning, and joint reflection, face-to-face at partner schools. The results of the activity demonstrated high enthusiasm among participants, active engagement in the learning process, and increased motivation to learn English. This activity also strengthened collaboration between the community service team, the village, and the school as local partners. This activity suggests that the contextual and communicative approach is effective in developing learning awareness and language skills among students living in rural areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of thoracolumbar examination in cases of AP/Lateral projection Kyphosis by considering the safety and comfort of patients at Meuraxa Regional General Hospital, Banda Aceh City and analyze the results of the implementation of Thoracolumbar examination in cases of AP/Lateral projection Kyphosis by considering the safety and comfort of patients at Meuraxa Regional General Hospital, Banda Aceh City. This study is a descriptive study by collecting several data sources in the form of interviews and literature studies. The objects in this study were patients with complaints of Kyphosis. From the results of the study, two images were obtained that can provide a clear picture in terms of results, detail, sharpness, density and contrast are also very good, but in terms of safety and comfort for the patient itself, special attention is needed. Further research is expected to pay attention to several things, namely object thickness, exposition factors, cassettes, markers, the right distance size and reducing object movement when photographed by considering the safety and comfort of patients.

Abstract

Pengelolaan perbendaharaan gereja merupakan sesuatu yang penting dalam sebuah pelayanan, karena penting bagi pertanggungjawaban kepada jemaat atau umat. Bendahara atau diaken yang baru terpilih berasal dari latar pendidikan yang beragam. Hanya sedikit yang memiliki pengetahuan terkait dengan pengelolaan keuangan khususnya perbendaharaan gereja. Berdasarkan pada latar belakang tersebut maka kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan pemahaman pengelola perbendaharaan di Gereja Damai Desa Tondegesan yang sesuai dengan tata gereja GMIM dan meningkatan kemampuan pengelola perbendaharaan di Gereja Damai dalam aspek pencatatan, penyetoran, dan pelaporan yang sesuai dengan tata gereja GMIM. Kegiatan sosialisasi mengenai pengelolaan perbendaharaan yang sesuai dengan tata gereja. Hasil kegiatan ini sangat berdampak pada pengelola perbendaharaan, karena memperoleh pemahaman mengenai cara melakukan pencatatan dan pengelolaan keuangan jemaat yang benar sesuai dengan tata gereja. Rekomendasi juga untuk peningkatan pengelolaan perbendaharaan sudah diberikan terkait pengelolaan keuangan yang diharapkan dapat berdampak pada peningkatan pelayanan di Gereja Damai Desa Tondegesan

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perbedaan nilai perusahaan yang diukur dengan Tobin's Q pada periode sebelum dan setelah penerapan PSAK 72 yang diadopsi dari IFRS 15 tentang Pendapatan dari Kontrak dengan Pelanggan di perusahaan Sektor Properti dan Real Estat. Studi ini menggunakan paired sample t-test, sampel penelitian sebanyak 73 perusahaan dengan pembagian periode pengamatan sebelum dan setelah menerapkan PSAK 72 yaitu pada tahun 2017 hingga 2019 dan tahun 2020 hingga 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai perusahaan tiga tahun sebelum dan satu tahun setelah penerapan, serta antara dua tahun sebelum dan satu tahun setelah penerapan PSAK 72. Namun, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai perusahaan satu tahun sebelum dan satu tahun setelah penerapan, serta antara satu tahun setelah dan dua tahun setelah penerapan PSAK 72. Selain itu, juga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai perusahaan tahun ke-1 dan ke-3 setelah penerapan, serta antara tahun ke-2 dan ke-3 setelah penerapan PSAK 72. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan PSAK 72 telah memengaruhi nilai perusahaan dari tahun ke tahun di Perusahaan Sektor Properti dan Real Estat.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia. The main factors causing stunting are inappropriate parenting practices and limited fulfillment of balanced nutrition. Based on data from the local Public Health Center, out of 102 toddlers measured, 99% have a normal height, while the remaining 1% are in the very short category. Through the Community Service Program (KKN), students of Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) carried out an educational activity on parenting practices and balanced nutrition in Lubuk Tukko Village on August 7, 2025. The methods used included interactive counseling, discussions, and collaboration with the village government, which also provided free nutritious food. The results showed an increase in community understanding, with around 80% of participants able to recall the main points regarding stunting and the importance of balanced nutrition. The activity also proved effective in raising community awareness and encouraging the adoption of healthy living behaviors as a tangible effort to reduce the stunting rate.
