Abstract

This research aims to develop a STEM-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) through a project of producing paving blocks from plastic waste to enhance the science literacy of junior high school students. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the 4D model, consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Expert validation results indicated that the LKPD achieved a very valid category with an average score of 90%, covering content feasibility, STEM integration, and clarity of procedural steps. The practicality trial involving teachers and students obtained a score of 88.5%, demonstrating that the LKPD is easy to understand and feasible for use in science learning. Its effectiveness was shown through improvements in students’ science literacy, with an N-gain score of 0.65 categorized as medium–high. The project-based learning activity, particularly the creation of plastic-waste paving blocks, successfully fostered active student engagement, strengthened conceptual understanding, and enhanced scientific reasoning in a contextual manner. Therefore, the developed STEM-based LKPD is considered highly potential for implementation in junior high school science learning to cultivate science literacy and environmental awareness among students.

Abstract

The Constitutional Court is one of the judicial authorities, alongside the Supreme Court, as stipulated in Article 24 paragraphs (1) and (2) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. However, a problem arises when the credibility of the Constitutional Court judges, who are supposed to ensure substantive justice, is tarnished by acts of corruption and irresponsibility. This raises questions about how to supervise them, as the interests and subjectivity of the judges can also be reflected in the decisions they make, which can ultimately lead to unfair and incorrect outcomes. Furthermore, the controversy surrounding Constitutional Court Decision Number 90/ PUU-XXI/2023 has sparked debate about the judges' bias in making decisions related to political interests. The expansion of authority without a credible and reliable oversight process and institution has proven to be problematic for the Constitutional Court, particularly with the establishment of the newly formed Honorary Council. This study employs a normative legal method, referencing applicable laws and regulations, cases, and concepts. The purpose of this study is to determine the independence of Constitutional Court judges amid political polarity and to examine the oversight of Constitutional Court judges, especially considering the final and binding nature of their decisions. Additionally, to date, the Constitutional Court does not have an external oversight body. We must not allow the decisions made to undermine the democratic order and provide room for intervention in the work of the Constitutional Court judges as guardians of the constitution.

Abstract

This study aims to predict student graduation outcomes by utilizing demographic and academic variables from the Student Performance Dataset. The analysis was conducted using the Logistic regression method, selected for its ability to handle binary outcomes and provide clear interpretability of predictor contributions. The research process included data preprocessing, removal of variables G1 and G2 to prevent data leakage, and conversion of the final grade (G3) into a binary graduation label. The model was evaluated using accuracy, logistic loss, and a confusion matrix to measure predictive reliability and classification stability. The results indicate that the model achieved an accuracy of 78.85% with a logistic loss value of 0.412, demonstrating stable performance and good generalizability. These findings suggest that simple demographic and academic attributes—such as age, study time, prior failures, and attendance—play a significant role in predicting graduation likelihood. Overall, the study confirms that Logistic regression is an effective approach for educational data analysis and can be utilized by schools to identify at-risk students and design more targeted instructional interventions.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the need to improve the pedagogical competence of prospective biology teachers so that they are professionally prepared to meet the demands of teaching in schools. The main objective of this activity was to develop the pedagogical competence of prospective biology teachers through education internships based on lesson study integrated with teaching practice at partner schools. The activity was carried out using a participatory approach involving students, supervising lecturers, and Biology teachers from partner schools. The activity was carried out through stages of collaborative lesson planning, classroom teaching, systematic lesson observation, and joint lesson reflection. The subjects of the activity were 20 prospective Biology Education teachers who were divided into several small groups, with each group carrying out at least one complete lesson study cycle. The results of the activities showed a quantitative increase in students' pedagogical competence, with the average questionnaire score increasing from 2.60 at the beginning to 4.21 at the end. Each group of students showed an improvement in their ability to develop Biology learning tools with a rating of very good, as well as an improvement in their observation and reflection skills with a rating of good to very good. Biology teachers from partner schools were actively involved in all stages of learning reflection and provided pedagogical feedback that contributed to improving the quality of learning. The benefits of the activity were felt by students through an improvement in their reflective pedagogical skills, and by partner schools through the strengthening of a culture of collaborative learning reflection. The conclusion of the activity shows that lesson study-based educational internships make a new and important contribution to increasing the involvement of students and teachers in the development of reflective and sustainable Biology learning.

Abstract

Cancel culture merupakan salah satu fenomena dari budaya digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji fenomena cancel culture dengan fokus pada karakteristik, faktor yang mempengaruhi, serta dampak positif dan negatifnya. Metode penelitian menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi di lapangan, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cancel culture memiliki karakteristik respons cepat dan massal, mob mentality, serta dampak jangka panjang dan polarisasi konflik. Faktor yang mempengaruhinya meliputi peran media sosial, kesadaran sosial yang meningkat, kurangnya literasi digital, dan mob mentality. Dampak positifnya antara lain meningkatkan akuntabilitas publik, memberdayakan suara korban, dan mendorong perubahan perilaku. Namun, dampak negatifnya juga signifikan, seperti membatasi kebebasan berekspresi, potensi penyalahgunaan, dan dampak psikologis serius pada individu yang di-cancel. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan edukasi literasi digital dan kebijakan yang mendukung penggunaan media sosial secara bertanggung jawab untuk mengelola fenomena ini dengan bijak.

Abstract

The Love, Pride, and Understanding of the Rupiah (CBP Rupiah) socialization is one of Bank Indonesia's program to strengthen financial literacy and encourage positive public attitudes towards the national currency. This community service (PKM) activity aims to provide education and increase understanding of the CBP Rupiah among residents of Mulyorejo, Limbung Village, especially productive-age mothers. The socialization was carried out at the Kenanga Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) using a participatory approach through interactive lectures, practical simulations, and a question-and-answer session. The participants numbered 48 people, consisting of housewives at productive age. The material presented included an introduction to the characteristics of authentic rupiah, how to care for money, the dangers of counterfeit money circulation, and an introduction to safe non-cash transactions. This activity is expected to foster the habit of recognizing and protecting rupiah among the community, as well as raising awareness of the importance of safe transactions.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan program sosial di Desa Sibonu, Kabupaten Sigi. Program yang dikaji meliputi pengecatan taman pengajian anak, penanaman pohon, kerja bakti, senam pagi bersama, dan majelis taklim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan warga, tokoh masyarakat, serta perangkat desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat tergolong rendah, terutama pada kegiatan penanaman pohon dan kerja bakti, sedangkan kegiatan bernuansa keagamaan seperti majelis taklim mendapat respons lebih baik. Faktor penghambat utama adalah kurangnya komunikasi dan sosialisasi, rendahnya kesadaran manfaat kegiatan, serta keterbatasan waktu warga. Diperlukan strategi komunikasi yang lebih efektif dan pelibatan tokoh masyarakat dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan agar partisipasi warga dapat meningkat. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi program pengabdian masyarakat selanjutnya di Desa Sibonu.

Abstract

Strengthening civic values ​​and mutual respect is crucial in today's multicultural society in Indonesia. Through literacy activities, this community service aims to raise awareness of differences and strengthen national identity. It was implemented through participatory methods, including forming reading groups and discussing tolerance, Pancasila, and inspiring stories from various cultures. The target group for this activity was the community in Air Manna 1 Village, Bengkulu City, which has diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds. The results of this activity indicate that residents' understanding of the values ​​of diversity and the spirit of tolerance has increased. Literacy activities have proven to be an effective means of strengthening inclusive civic character.

Abstract

Tujuan riset ini ingin menganalisa implementasi 3 pilar Deep Learning untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas 2A di SDN Sayangsemper. Riset ini berpendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dari wawancara, dokumentasi serta observasi. Strategi belajar akan merujuk pada 3 pilar deep learning bermakna, berkesadaran, serta menggembirakan. Hasil risetnya membuktikan ada peningkatan motivasi belajar pada murid kelas 2A SDN Sayangsemper, hal tersebut ditandai dengan meningkatnya keterlibatan interaksi aktivitas siswa seperti bertanya, berdiskusi kelompok dan menyajikan hasil diskusi depan kelas. Dari hasil temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa 3 pilar Deep Learning dapat digunakan sebagai acuan pendekatan transformasional untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Vegetasi riparian atau tutupan di bantaran sungai wisata air bionga, bertujuan mencegah terjadinya erosi, polutan dan mencegah banjir serta memperkuat kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga ekosistem sungai. Selain itu, pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi, tingkat pengetahuan, dan sikap masyarakat terhadap kegiatan penghijauan melalui proses dialog interaktif, diskusi partisipatif dan demonstrasi dengan penggalian data langsung di lapangan. Metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan ethnografi, digunakan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik ini dipilih untuk memperoleh informasi faktual terkait kondisi bantaran sungai, tingkat partisipasi masyarakat, serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam kegiatan penghijauan. Pelaksanaan penanaman dilakukan pada 11 Oktober 2025 di bantaran Sungai Bionga Desa Kaleke dengan target penanaman 15 pohon. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memiliki kesadaran yang cukup baik mengenai pentingnya penghijauan, meskipun masih diperlukan edukasi lanjutan terkait pemeliharaan tanaman dalam jangka panjang. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan dampak ekologis, tetapi juga memperkuat sinergi antara tim pelaksana dan masyarakat dalam menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal menuju pengelolaan wisata sungai lebih berkelanjutan.
