Abstract

Desa Karyamekar, Kecamatan Pasirwangi, Kabupaten Garut, merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi besar untuk pengembangan desa wisata, karena dukungan alam dan budaya lokal yang kuat. Namun, kualitas pelayanan wisata masih memerlukan peningkatan, terutama pada aspek hospitality, komunikasi, dan kesiapan masyarakat dalam memberikan layanan prima kepada pengunjung. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi layanan wisata bagi ibu PKK dan kader posyandu melalui pelatihan terstruktur yang mengintegrasikan pengetahuan dasar kepariwisataan, etika pelayanan, komunikasi efektif, dan manajemen kebersihan area wisata. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah, simulasi, demonstrasi, serta pendampingan praktik lapangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan meningkatnya pemahaman peserta terkait standar pelayanan wisata, kemampuan komunikasi, serta kesiapan untuk berperan aktif dalam pengelolaan destinasi wisata desa. Antusiasme peserta dalam menerapkan materi pelatihan, menjadi modal penting untuk keberlanjutan pembinaan desa wisata. Program ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap penguatan peran perempuan desa sebagai motor penggerak layanan wisata dan diharapkan menjadi model pengembangan masyarakat berbasis pemberdayaan lokal.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School Cooperatives (Kopontren) operating in Islamic Boarding Schools often face challenges in financial management. Furthermore, public accountability is crucial in this regard, given that the growth of the cooperative movement within Islamic boarding schools is a manifestation of the concepts of mutual assistance (ta'awun), brotherhood (ukhuwah), seeking knowledge (tholabul ilmi), and various other aspects. The purpose of this Community Service Activity is to improve financial management capabilities through the use of an Open Source Accounting System. Furthermore, transparency in financial reports produced by Kopontren is necessary to increase accountability. The method used in this community service activity is service learning. The results of this activity reflect its positive contribution in supporting the sustainable growth of Kopontren and increasing public accountability. This also empowers Kopontren owners to manage their cooperatives more effectively.

Abstract

Maritime safety is a crucial aspect of maritime transportation, with ship seaworthiness as a key factor in ensuring safe operations. This study examines the procedures for issuing the Minimum Safe Manning Document (MSD) at the Class I Tanjung Balai Karimun Port and Port Authority (KSOP) as legal evidence of compliance with the minimum number and qualifications of ship crew members in accordance with national and international regulations. The study aims to describe the document issuance process, from submission, administrative verification, ship survey, to issuance by the port manager. The method used is field research through observation and library research of relevant regulations and literature, referring to national regulations and international conventions. The results of the study indicate that the procedures have been implemented in accordance with the provisions, although there are still obstacles such as delays in document completion, limited understanding of ship owners, and administrative issues. Overall, the Minimum Safe Manning Document plays an important role in ensuring ship seaworthiness, improving maritime safety, and providing legal certainty for ship operations.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia resulting from impaired insulin secretion or action. Among various herbal remedies employed as alternative therapies for diabetes, Tinospora crispa, commonly known as brotowali, has attracted considerable scientific interest. This traditional medicinal plant exhibits antidiabetic potential due to its rich content of bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, alkaloids, and terpenoid glycosides. This literature review aims to evaluate recent studies investigating the antidiabetic activity of T. crispa. The review analyzed eight scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025 that met specific inclusion criteria. The findings reveal that T. crispa lowers blood glucose levels, enhances insulin secretion, promotes pancreatic β-cell regeneration, and inhibits α-glucosidase enzyme activity. These therapeutic effects are further potentiated when T. crispa is combined with other medicinal plants. However, several studies also report potential renal. phytotherapeutic agent for diabetes, although further research is necessary to establish its safety and clinical efficacy.

Abstract

The SPB Sainty Governor vessel operating in maritime waters is required to possess a valid Safety Construction Certificate (SCC) to ensure safe and compliant operations. Therefore, the periodic renewal of the Safety Construction Certificate is a crucial process to guarantee that the vessel continues to meet applicable safety standards. This paper provides a detailed review of the SCC renewal procedure for the SPB Sainty Governor, covering essential aspects such as the required administrative documents, stages of comprehensive inspections to assess the vessel’s physical and operational conditions, and compliance with safety standards established by both national and international maritime authorities. The objective of this study is to offer a comprehensive understanding of the SCC renewal process and to emphasize the importance of safety considerations at every stage of vessel operations. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations not only protects the crew and passengers but also contributes to environmental protection and enhances the company’s reputation within the increasingly competitive maritime industry. This study employs a literature review approach combined with field research methods to obtain accurate and relevant data related to the implementation of the Safety Construction Certificate renewal procedure.

Abstract

This program aims to revitalize Betawi arts and culture through an innovative approach rooted in the strengths of local communities. In general, the program focuses on efforts to strengthen community and institutional capacity in preserving Betawi arts; develop an innovative marketing model for Betawi culinary products through the integration of design and media; and create a collaborative space that encourages greater public appreciation and participation in Betawi arts and culture. The implementation of the Betawi Arts and Culture Revitalization Program Through Community-Based Innovation is carried out through several stages, including socialization, training sessions, the application of technology and innovation, mentoring, evaluation, and sustainability planning. A series of trainings covering branding enhancement, financial management, and the use of social media provides practical knowledge and skills for community art studios and participating residents to build identity, increase independence, and promote artistic activities more strategically and sustainably. Thus, Betawi arts and culture are not only preserved, but are also able to take part in the dynamic life of a modern, inclusive, and adaptive urban society.

Abstract

Strengthening Islamic and Muhammadiyah values ​​(AIK) is an important foundation in developing religious attitudes and an Islamic work ethic within the Muhammadiyah Community Service environment. However, support staff such as office boys, drivers, and security guards at the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS) often do not receive systematic guidance regarding the implementation of obligatory worship, especially the five daily prayers. This community service activity aims to increase understanding, awareness, and consistency in the practice of obligatory worship through an educational, participatory approach and the application of simple learning media. Implementation methods include socialization, andragogy-based worship practice training, the provision of short learning videos, the use of daily worship journals (printed and digital), and routine mentoring. Evaluation was carried out through pre-post tests, observation of worship practices, and participant reflections. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the understanding and implementation of obligatory worship, reflected in increased post-test scores, regular congregational prayers, and increased spiritual commitment of support staff. In conclusion, this program is effective in strengthening the practice of obligatory worship while building a more harmonious Islamic work culture within the UNIMUS environment.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to socialize traditional games to Generation Z students in order to instill local cultural values at SD Negeri Bukit Rata, Aceh Tamiang. The development of digital technology causes children to interact more often with gadgets, so their involvement in traditional games is decreasing. In fact, traditional games have an important function in training social skills, motor skills, and instilling character values such as cooperation, sportsmanship, discipline, and mutual cooperation. This service program was carried out through several stages, namely observation, counseling, game demonstration, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The games introduced included cricket, gobak sodor, and tug of war. The results of the activity showed high enthusiasm from the students as well as an increase in their understanding of the local cultural values contained in the game. In addition, students became more physically active and more involved in positive social interactions. Teachersalso responded positively by stating that traditional games can be used as an alternative learning activity that is fun and educational. Thus, this activity is effective in supporting efforts to preserve local culture through an educational approach that suits thecharacteristics of Generation Z students.

Abstract

The concepts of nusyuz (disobedience of husband or wife) and syiqaq (escalating disputes) are fundamental frameworks in the jurisprudence of munakahat for analyzing and resolving domestic conflicts. However, existing literature tends to focus on the conventional manifestations of these two concepts. This study aims to reconceptualize nusyuz and syiqaq in the context of the digital era, which has given rise to new forms of problematic issues. Using conceptual analysis methods based on primary sources of Islamic law and contemporary social theories, this article identifies and categorizes forms of "Digital Nusyuz," such as financial nusyuz through non-transparent online transactions, emotional nusyuz through social media interactions, and digital privacy violations as triggers of conflict. Furthermore, this article analyzes how the escalation of digital nusyuz can lead to more complex syiqaq. As a solution, a resolution model is proposed that integrates the role of traditional hakam (peacemakers) with digital literacy and online conflict mediation. The results of this study offer a new framework for legal practitioners, marriage counselors, and judges in Religious Courts to understand and resolve household problems rooted in interactions in the digital world, a contribution that is expected to fill the gap in contemporary Islamic family law studies.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to assist PT. Romi Tour and Travel in implementing innovative open trip service packages to increase tourist interest. The open trip concept combines participants from various backgrounds in a single travel package with predetermined schedules and destinations, offering more affordable prices and a unique social experience. The company’s main challenge is the low public interest in open trip packages compared to the more popular regular packages. The methods used in this program include preparation and needs analysis through observation, interviews, and document review, designing service innovations, and providing assistance in implementing promotional strategies through social media and partner networks. The results show an improvement in the company’s understanding of how to package open trip services more attractively and develop targeted promotional strategies. With consistent implementation, the open trip service is expected to become one of PT. Romi Tour and Travel’s flagship products in attracting public interest.
