Abstract

Mendale Village is one of the tourist villages in Central Aceh. So it is always crowded with tourists visiting Laut Tawar Lake. The purpose of this Community Service is to empower the people of Mendale Village through the creative economy with chayote jelly candy products. It is hoped that the processed chayote can become one of the culinary specialties of Mendale Village and can also provide additional income for the community. Marketing can be done around tourist attractions around Mendale Village. The methods used for Partners are lectures, demonstrations and training. There are 20 Partners consisting of PKK Cadres and other mothers from the general public. Partners are given a Pre-Test and Post-Test to determine the increase in knowledge that occurs during the implementation of the program. At the end of the implementation, Partners are also given an Implementation Evaluation Form. The results of the analysis show that Partners' knowledge has increased, especially in the fourth statement ('Chayote can be processed into various products with various flavors (sweet, salty, spicy and savory') there has been an increase of 85%. This shows that Partners have optimal knowledge about processing chayote into jelly candy. As many as 100% of Partners stated 'Strongly Agree' that the training material is easy to understand. Statement This training is useful and I will attend a similar event if it is held again received an assessment from Partners 'Strongly Agree' each of 90%.

Abstract

Kulit manggis (Garcinia Mangostana L.) terbukti mengandung senyawa bioaktif seperti xanton, flavonoid, dan antosianin yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan tinggi. Penelitian ini secara tegas meninjau pengaruh jenis pelarut terhadap efektivitas ekstraksi senyawa antioksidan menggunakan metode sonikasi ultrasound (UAE). Kajian ini dilakukan melalui analisis kritis terhadap tiga jurnal ilmiah yang menggunakan pelarut berbeda, yaitu etanol 96%, metanol, dan akuades. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa jenis pelarut sangat menentukan kualitas ekstrak, mulai dari rendemen, kadar total senyawa fenolik dan flavonoid, hingga nilai aktivitas antioksidan (IC50). Etanol 96% terbukti sebagai pelarut paling unggul dalam mengekstraksi senyawa antioksidan dari kulit manggis, diikuti oleh akuades sebagai pelarut polar. Berdasarkan temuan ini, pemilihan pelarut tidak dapat diabaikan dan harus disesuaikan dengan karakteristik senyawa target untuk menghasilkan ekstrak dengan aktivitas antioksidan maksimal

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of data, information, knowledge, and wisdom-based learning in Islamic Religious Education and its impact on the development of students' character and understanding of religion. Data-based learning is intended to tailor the material to the individual needs of students, while relevant and contextual information helps students understand religious values more deeply. Furthermore, wisdom in teaching decision-making plays a crucial role in shaping students' positive character. The results of the study indicate that the application of data, information, knowledge, and wisdom-based learning can create a learning environment that effectively supports the development of students' character and religious understanding. Holistic learning, integrated through educational elements such as objectives, educators, students, educational tools, and the learning environment, has a positive impact on enhancing the quality of religious education and character formation. This study provides new insights into strengthening by optimizing the use of data, information, and wisdom in teaching.

Abstract

Skin health problems often occur in orphanages due to lack of awareness of hygiene and limited sanitation facilities. This service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the children of Mamiyai Orphanage regarding skin health through education and training in making sulfur soap made from natural ingredients. The method used was a participatory approach, involving 38 participants in two sessions, namely education and soap making practice. Evaluation was conducted through pretest and posttest. Results showed a significant increase in average knowledge from 61.00 to 83.50 (p < 0.05). This finding is in line with Kolb's experiential learning theory that emphasizes the importance of direct experience in learning. In addition to improving understanding of skin care, the program equips participants with practical skills that can be developed as simple business opportunities. The integration of theoretical education and the practice of making sulfur soap proved effective in improving clean and healthy living behaviors in the orphanage environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya tingkat pemahaman siswa kelas V SD Ngangkrik Sleman Yogyakarta terhadap materi keanekaragaman budaya Indonesia pada mata pelajaran IPAS.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media Kotak Pintar Bergambar (KOPIBERGA) pada materi Keragaman Budaya Indonesia kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SD Ngangkrik Sleman Yogyakarta dengan jumlah siswa 25 anak dengan sampel penelitian 16 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KOPIBERGA dikembangkan untuk materi keberagaman budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Produk dikembangkan secara menarik, interaktif, dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik kelas V SD Ngangkrik Yogyakarta. Penggunaan media KOPIBERGA mata pelajaran IPAS efektif untuk digunakan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan kemampuan berpikir kritis materi keberagaman budaya Indonesia. Ditunjukkan pada nilai probabilitas uji T-Test output SPSS, terlihat bahwa Asymp. Sig. (2- tailed) atau bernilai 0,000. Karena nilai 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara data pre-test dan post-test. Ketuntasan KKM hasil post-test secara keseluruhan mencapai 100%. Produk KOPIBERGA mata pelajaran IPAS sangat layak berdasarkan hasil tanggapan peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 88,5%. Dengan demikian KOPIBERGA efektif hasil belajar dan kreativitas siswa dalam memahami keanekaragaman budaya Indonesia.

Abstract

A study has been conducted to examine the influence of financial technology and financial knowledge on the financial behavior of the millennial generation in Dusun Tegal Ombo. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and an ex post facto design. The population consists of the millennial generation in Dusun Tegal Ombo, with a sample size of 110 respondents selected using total sampling techniques. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and data analysis was performed using SPSS version 25. The findings reveal that both financial technology and financial knowledge significantly affect the financial behavior of millennials in Dusun Tegal Ombo. This is evidenced by (1) the positive and significant effect of financial technology on financial behavior, indicated by a t-statistic value greater than the t-table (3.661 > 1.659). (2) There is a positive and significant influence of financial knowledge on financial behavior, based on a t-statistic value greater than the t-table (3.566 > 1.659). (3) Additionally, both financial technology and financial knowledge positively and significantly influence financial behavior, as shown by the f-count value exceeding the f-table (23.932 > 3.08). A determination value of 30.9% was obtained.

Abstract

Peran sains sangat krusial dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan baik secara individu maupun masyarakat. Pengenalan sains kepada anak usia dini sebagian besar diperngaruhi oleh peran orang tua. Hal ini disebabkan sains mempelajari hal-hal yang dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari manusia. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana keterlibatan orang tua dalam pengenalan sains sederhana di rumah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Systemtic Literature Review (SLR). Artikel peneltian bersumber dari tiga database, yaitu Google Schoolar, Science Direct dan ERIC. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah “sains di rumah untuk anak OR science at home for children”. Artikel yang dianalisis dalam rentang waktu lima tahun yaitu artikel yang terbit pada tahun 2020-2025. Dari 624.790 artikel didapatkan 10 artikel yang relevan sesuai dengan proses seleksi secara bertahap untuk menyaring artikel-artikel yang paling relevan dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Berdasarkan hasil literature review keterlibatan orang dalam pengenalan sains sederhana di rumah yaitu melalui kegiatan seperti tanya jawab, pengamatan terhadap lingkungan sekitar, membaca bersama orang tua, serta interaksi yang hangat dan bermakna berperan penting dalam membangun dasar pemahaman sains anak. Selain itu, eksperimen sederhana yang dilakukan bersama orang tua tidak hanya memperkenalkan konsep sains secara konkret, tidak hanya itu, serta dapat mengembangkan berpikir kritis anak, keingintahuan, dan keterampilan sosial anak. Dengan demikian, lingkungan rumah dapat menjadi ruang belajar yang kaya dan menyenangkan dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang anak dalam bidang sains.

Abstract

UMKM di Amanuban Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur, merupakan tulang punggung perekonomian lokal dengan potensi besar, terutama dalam sektor pertanian, kerajinan tangan, dan produk lokal berbasis budaya. Namun, mayoritas UMKM di wilayah ini masih mengandalkan sistem konvensional dan belum terintegrasi dalam ekosistem ekonomi digital. Di era ekonomi digital, UMKM memiliki peluang besar untuk berkembang, antara lain: akses pasar yang lebih luas melalui platform digital, promosi produk dengan biaya rendah melalui media sosial, serta kemudahan dalam transaksi keuangan melalui teknologi finansial. Selain itu, produk-produk lokal memiliki daya tarik budaya yang kuat dan berpotensi menjadi produk unggulan jika dikemas dan dipasarkan secara modern. Namun, berbagai tantangan juga dihadapi. Tantangan utama mencakup keterbatasan infrastruktur digital, rendahnya literasi teknologi di kalangan pelaku UMKM, kurangnya akses terhadap pelatihan digital, serta lemahnya daya saing produk lokal di tengah masuknya produk dari luar melalui e-commerce. Sebagai solusi praktis, disarankan adanya pelatihan digital berbasis komunitas yang aplikatif dan mudah dipahami, pendirian pusat digital desa (digital hub) sebagai ruang belajar dan promosi, serta pemberdayaan generasi muda sebagai pendamping teknologi. Kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi, pemerintah desa, dan pelaku UMKM menjadi kunci keberhasilan transformasi digital ini. Melalui pendekatan ini, UMKM Amanuban Barat diharapkan tidak hanya mampu bertahan, tetapi juga tumbuh dan bersaing dalam era ekonomi digital secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing use of social media among adolescents, particularly Facebook and TikTok, which are not only used for entertainment but also influence social relationships and mental health. The aim of this study is to explore how the use of Facebook and TikTok shapes the social interactions of adolescents and its impact on the mental health of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 9 Ambon. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with students and Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers, as well as documentation. The findings show that social media can expand peer networks and serve as a space for self-expression. However, it also has negative effects such as anxiety, fear of negative comments, and social comparison. BK teachers play an important role in providing solutions through personal counseling, digital education, and character development programs. The study concludes that support from both schools and families is essential to help adolescents use social media positively. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the importance of character building amid the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of UMKM Kripik Susus "UMMU" Karanganyar actors in utilizing social media as a means of digital marketing. The background of this activity is based on the fact that business actors still rely on conventional marketing strategies and have not optimally utilized digital platforms. Through a participatory approach, this activity involves observation, interviews, training, and technical assistance in eight main aspects: digital marketing strategy, content optimization, collaboration, data analysis, customer engagement, e-commerce integration, increasing consumer trust, and employee training. The results of the activity show an increase in partners' understanding and skills in managing social media accounts, creating interesting content, and building better relationships with customers. Partners have also begun to utilize e-commerce platforms to expand their market reach actively. This program proves that hands-on practice-based assistance can have a real impact on the development of micro-businesses, as well as strengthening the role of universities in empowering the local community economy in the digital era.
