Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces challenges in improving students' understanding and spiritual intelligence, especially in the modern era full of distractions. The Neuroeducation approach, based on cognitive neuroscience, offers a more effective learning method by considering how the brain processes information. This strategy integrates multisensory stimulation, emotional engagement, and direct experience to create more meaningful and sustainable learning. This research employs a qualitative case study method, where data is collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis related to the implementation of the Neuroeducation strategy in PAI. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis, with validity strengthened through data triangulation from various sources. The results indicate that the Neuroeducation-based strategy significantly enhances students' understanding of PAI concepts and fosters the development of their spiritual intelligence. Experience-based learning methods, storytelling, and self-reflection proved to be more effective than conventional lecture methods. However, challenges such as teachers' limited understanding and technological infrastructure constraints remain. Therefore, teacher training and the integration of neuroscience-based approaches into the PAI curriculum are necessary to optimize this method’s implementation. With the right approach, Neuroeducation can be an innovative solution to developing a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, well-characterized, and have a deep understanding of religion.

Abstract

This paper issue will become a discussion about understanding Islam from the Generation Z point of view as the first generation who have been introduced to digital technology. The important aspects relevant to information of religion in social media; positif and negative. One of the utilities of social media is that it provides insights into diverse perspectives of Islam, but when information becomes unverified, it can contribute to misunderstanding or even radicalisation.” This research is qualitative using literature study method to analyze social media impact on generation Z religious understanding. The results indicate that social media is an effective means to deepen religious knowledge provided it is moderated by sound digital literacy. So, educating strategies as well as strengthening digital literacy based on religious was seen as the main solution in optimizing the use of social media to develop a more comprehensive understanding of religion for Generation Z.

Abstract

To be a superior and qualified Muslim, of course you must be able to read the Al-Qur'an clearly and fluently. The use of methods is an important factor in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur'an. The Qiroati method is a fairly old method, where the Qiroati method emerged and was pioneered by K.H. Dahlan Salim Zarkasyi. MTs Tahfizh Al-Falakiyah is one of the school that uses the Qiroati method in its teaching and learning activities, because the Qiroati method is a fast and precise method for learning to read and write the Al-Qur'an. This research aims 1) to determine the implementation of the Qiroati method on the ability to read the Al-Qur'an, 2) to determine the development of students' abilities in implementing Al-Qur'an Reading Learning using the Qiroati Method 3) to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the Qiroati method in reading the Al-Qur'an, 4) to find out solutions to the factors inhibiting the implementation of the Qiroati method in reading the Al-Qur'an. This research method uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, the main characteristic of this research is that the researcher is directly involved in the field, acts as an observer, creates categories of actors, observes phenomena, records them in a research book. Data collection techniques are interview and documentation techniques, using data reduction analysis, data presentation and conclusions. The research results show that 1) the implementation of the qiroati method on the ability to read the Al-Qur'an has three steps, namely planning, implementation and individual evaluation. 2) The development of students' ability to read the Koran is quite good and significant 3) there are several supporting factors, one of which is professional teaching staff, the facilities provided by the school and there are also several inhibiting factors that come from teachers and students. 4) the solution to the inhibiting factors is regular training and development for the teaching team, more complete learning tools, and creating a conducive and enjoyable learning situation. It can be concluded that the Qiroati method applied at MTs Tahfizh Al-Falakiyah Bogor City is very suitable and appropriate, this is proven by the 2024 EBTAQ test results data from 7A of 28 students 2 students who failed, 7B of 27 students 5 students who failed, 7C of 28 students 5 students who failed, 7D of 31 students 5 students who failed, 7E of 31 students, 5 students who failed. So out of a total of 145 grade 7 students, there are 22 students who have not passed the test. Then from class 8A data of 28 students 1 person failed, 8B of 31 students 3 people failed, 8C of 31 students 3 people failed, 8D of 29 students 3 people failed, 8E of 28 students 2 people failed. So out of a total of 147 grade 8 students, there are 12 students who have not passed the test. Finally, data from class 9A, all 28 students passed, 9B from 26 students all passed, 9C from 28 students all passed, 9D from 31 students all passed, 9E from 31 students all passed. So out of a total of 144 grade 9 students, all managed to graduate. This proves a significant result, because there is an increase in success in the test which increases with each class.

Abstract

Through education, students' personalities will be formed into culturally qualified and responsible individuals. The role of religion in Islamic education in school institutions is a form of manifestation to preserve Islamic religious values for the next generation, so that they can continue to function along with developments over time. PAI is an instructive interaction by a teacher to equip students with learning, information and motivation in carrying out Islamic education. The success of religious and character education for students can occur because of cooperation between teachers, parents and the school. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative research. This type of research was chosen to understand in depth how the process of developing religious moderation character education is carried out through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. In an effort to realize character education, MA Darut Taqwa has a program containing character values to build students' character for the better. The mandatory programs implemented at MA Darut Taqwa to shape student character are flag ceremonies, praying, saying greetings, greeting each other among school members, in order to form friendship and community service activities. Teachers play a role as maintainers, implementers and administrators of education. Within the family sphere, parents are the main role models for children in showing the values of religious moderation.

Abstract

The celebration of the Prophet's birthday in Jambe Village, which has been going on for generations as a religious and cultural tradition, shows a change in values in recent years. This change is reflected in the emergence of behavior that is considered deviant, such as excessive entertainment and lack of attention to spiritual aspects. This phenomenon indicates a transformation of values due to the influence of modernization which affects the balance between religious values and local culture. This article aims to: 1) Identify the religious and cultural values contained in the celebration of the Prophet's birthday in Jambe village. 2) Analyze the value transformation that occurs during the celebration. 3) Explore the factors that cause the transformation of values in the celebration of the Prophet's birthday in Jambe village. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to reveal facts in depth based on existing conditions. The location of the research was Jambe Village, Kertasemaya District, Indramayu Regency. Data sources consist of primary data through observations and interviews with the Prophet's birthday celebration committee, religious leaders, village government, and residents of Jambe Village, as well as secondary data in the form of related documents. In Jambe Village, the Prophet's Birthday Celebration combines religious and cultural values such as love, care, honesty, example, spirit of worship, and cultural enrichment through traditional music. However, significant values change with time. The essence of the celebration, which was originally full of religious meaning, began to shift. As a result, there are difficulties in maintaining the original values of the Prophet's birthday.

Abstract

This study investigates the incorporation of Batik into fashion design curricula, focusing on how it affects students' understanding of cultural heritage, sustainability, and ethical design practices. A qualitative technique was used to collect data, which included literature reviews, case studies, and semi-structured interviews with fashion educators and students. The findings reveal that educators incorporate Batik into curricula through theoretical modules on its cultural history, hands-on workshops teaching traditional Batik techniques, and projects exploring modern applications such as swimwear and sportswear design. Collaborations with local artisans further enhance students’ appreciation of Batik’s cultural and social significance, while assignments emphasizing ethical reflection help address concerns about cultural appropriation and responsible design. The findings show that 90% of students reported enhanced understanding of cultural history, with many expressing a greater appreciation for Batik's function in storytelling and identity preservation. Furthermore, Batik's eco-friendly production methods taught students about sustainability, which informed their ideas on slow fashion and natural colouring techniques. Despite its advantages, issues such as time limits, material adaptation difficulties, and limited availability to craftspeople were identified. The study emphasizes the significance of refining teaching methodologies to overcome obstacles and ensuring that cultural education stays fundamental to modern design innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social support and emotional intelligence on psychological well-being with resilience as a mediating variable in organization X. The research sample was taken using the Accidental sampling technique. The research sample was taken using a social support scale, an emotional intelligence scale, and a resilience scale. Data analysis using the SmartPLS program. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire distributed online using Google Form conducted on personnel of the Yogyakarta Special Region Police with the Accidental sampling technique. Data analysis used SmartPLS to test validity, reliability, and hypothesis. The results showed that social support had a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being. Emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being. Resilience had a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being. Social support had an effect on resilience, as well as emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on resilience. Resilience partially mediates the effect of social support and emotional intelligence on psychological well-being. This means that good social support, emotional intelligence, and resilience can improve psychological well-being. This study has implications for increasing social support and emotional intelligence and resilience with psychological well-being.

Abstract

Islamic education is referred to as a system and method for improving the quality of human life which basically aims to develop true Muslim individuals by developing each person's physical and spiritual potential. This research aims to identify and analyze local wisdom values ​​that can be integrated in the development of Islamic education in the Islamic boarding school environment. Local wisdom is cultural wealth that contains noble values, which, if applied in Islamic education, can enrich and strengthen the character of students. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research examines educational practices in several Islamic boarding schools that have succeeded in integrating local wisdom in their curriculum. The research results show that local wisdom values, such as mutual cooperation, tolerance and respect for nature, have high relevance to the basic principles of Islam. The implementation of these values ​​not only deepens understanding of religion, but also shapes the attitudes and behavior of students who are more civilized and broad-minded. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of developing an adaptive and contextual curriculum, which is able to accommodate local wisdom values ​​to improve the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools. It is hoped that these findings can become a reference for Islamic boarding school managers in designing holistic and integrative education programs.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the variable effects of ease of use, socio-cultural factors, and technology trust on interest in paying zakat and infaq using QRIS. this research uses a quantitative approach. The results show the validity and reliability side, all variables are valid. The classical assumption test also shows if the data is normally distributed, does not experience multicollinearity problems, and there is no heteroscedasticity, so regression analysis can be done properly. In the T test, it was found that in BAZNAS Pringsewu, the ease of use factor does not have a significant impact on muzakki's interest in paying zakat and infaq through QRIS. In contrast, social and cultural factors, trust in technology have a significant influence. Meanwhile, in BAZNAS Pesawaran, ease of use, socio-cultural factors have a significant effect, while trust in technology has no influence on the interest in paying zakat and infaq using QRIS. Then, the F test results present that simultaneously, all variables have a significant effect on muzakki's interest in using QRIS in both regions. Finally, in the Independent T test, based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U Test, it can be concluded that trust in technology is significantly different between BAZNAS Pringsewu and BAZNAS Pesawaran, where Pringsewu people have more confidence in QRIS than Pesawaran people. And the remaining variables do not show significant differences between the two regions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students' religious awareness in class XI of SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bima. In addition, this study also wants to examine the implications of the PAI learning strategy on the development of students' religious awareness. Thus, the results of this study are expected to provide a clear picture of effective methods in improving the understanding and application of religious values among students, especially in the environment of SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bima. The type of method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the data source in this study is divided into two parts, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources, where primary data sources are obtained directly from the research site in the form of interviews with PAI teachers and grade XI students at SMAN 4 Kota Bima, while secondary data researchers get from other sources in the form of journals, books and reports that are closely related to the research conducted. The results showed that the PAI teacher's strategy in fostering students' religious awareness at SMAN 4 Kota Bima includes motivation, exemplary, dialog, discussion, and provision of facilities. The implication of this strategy is the growth of religious awareness in students which can be seen from religious activities such as Dhuha prayers in congregation and Qur'anic tadarus.
