Abstract

This research discusses the history of Islamic education before and during the era of the Rashidun Caliphate, focusing on the earlier period led by Prophet Muhammad and the period of the Rashidun Caliphs, which includes the leadership of Abu Bakr, Umar ibn Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan, and Ali ibn Abi Talib. The study employs a Literature Review approach to gather and analyze data from various relevant sources. The findings indicate that Islamic education during these periods experienced significant development, with each caliph making unique contributions to the formation and dissemination of Islamic education. However, there were also challenges and disruptions affecting the educational process, especially during the caliphate of Ali ibn Abi Talib. This research provides profound insights into the role of Islamic education in shaping the identity and character of Muslim communities and contributes to a better understanding of the development of Islamic education in the present and future.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the Implementation of Transformational Leadership at State Elementary School 07 Simpuruik. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews which involve collecting information and data from various sources found in related educational institutions, the results of research carried out in the field are added. with relevant sources, articles, related notes and also includes journals related to the topic you want to complete. Leadership in educational institutions is one of the determinants of educational success and the achievement of educational goals in these institutions. Transformational leadership plays a very important role in the process of improving teacher performance, where this is proven by a leader who has a high transformational attitude, this leader will provide a positive example to employees. Especially in the implementation of e-performance management, teachers and school principals are required to be able and understand the flow of performance management well.

Abstract

During the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the concept of education was not fully formed as we understand it today. However, through the Prophet's actions and efforts in spreading the teachings of Islam, he served not only as a teacher but also as a character builder. The Prophet's preaching successfully transformed the Arabs in Mecca, who were previously engaged in idol worship, into worshipers of the One God, Allah. Islamic education emphasizes the formation of mental attitudes reflected in tangible actions, both for the benefit of individuals and society. It not only focuses on theoretical aspects but also on the practical implementation of the teachings imparted. Islamic education encompasses the formation of faith and the practice of good deeds simultaneously, as well as aspects of individual and social education. The history of Islamic education has undergone various phases of development alongside the development of Islam itself, from the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the leadership of the Caliphs in different Islamic states. However, along with the decline of the Muslim community, Islamic education has also experienced a similar decline. This study adopts a Literature Review approach, involving the collection of literature data through digital libraries and the internet, as well as the use of document studies on previous research findings. Journal searches were conducted through Google Scholar and academic literature related to Islamic education during the reform period.

Abstract

This research is motivated by management strategies and policies to improve the quality of Islamic religious education in elementary schools, but the quality is still low. For schools to provide quality education, they need to develop comprehensive education management strategies. To realize the implementation of strategic management to improve the quality of Islamic religious education at SDIT Otoman, leaders and managers of educational institutions are needed. As leaders of educational institutions, school principals have an important role in improving the quality of education. The focus of this research is to analyze how management strategies and policies are implemented to improve the quality of Islamic religious education at SDIT Otman Depok. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of management strategies and policies to improve the quality of Islamic religious education at SDIT Otman Depok. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research location was carried out at SDIT Otman Depok. Based on the results of SDIT Otman's research, the strategy and management of policies to improve the quality of Islamic religious education should go through three processes: (1) formulation through the formulation of the school's vision and mission, and (2) implementation, through the implementation of school policies and staff motivation. (3) Evaluation and control, including activities such as planning, implementation processes, monitoring activities, and activity results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of the use of discussion methods on students' learning interest in PAI subjects in grade VIII SMPIT Al-Ghifari Bojong Gede. The population in this study includes all grade VIII students of SMPIT Al-Ghifari Bojong Gede consisting of 3 classes with a total of 95 students. This study used quantitative methods where the data collection process was carried out by distributing research questionnaires to 95 grade VIII students at SMPIT Al-Ghifari Bojong Gede. The results showed that: (1) the use of discussion method obtained an average of 43.1 results showed that the use of discussion method in PAI subjects was included in the good category. (2) the interest in learning of grade VIII students obtained an average score of 39, this shows that the interest in learning of grade VIII students is included in the category of quite good. (3) the results of a simple linear regression test of 0.000 < 0.05 showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the use of the discussion method on the learning interest of grade VIII students at SMPIT Al-Ghifari Bojong Gede, so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Therefore, if you want to increase the interest in learning students, one of the things that must be considered is the use of learning methods.

Abstract

Understanding morals is one of the important components that students must have in an effort to deepen their knowledge and values ​​of Islamic teachings as the basis of a Muslim's knowledge. There are two factors that can influence each individual's understanding of morals, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors come from within students such as thought patterns, attitudes and self-motivation. Meanwhile, external factors include family, school, social environment and social media. Support for achieving understanding of student morals through the social media Instagram can be obtained if students have the ability to act and behave critically, carefully, wisely, think objectively and appreciate the diversity of Islamic information obtained. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of the use of Instagram media on students' understanding of Islam at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used by researchers is an inferential statistical analysis technique with an analysis stage in the form of an analysis prerequisite test stage consisting of a normality test and linearity test, hypothesis testing consisting of a simple linear regression analysis test and a t test with the help of the SPSS version 27 application. Results from Research shows that there is an influence of the use of social media on the understanding of morals of PAI students class of 2021 at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. The magnitude of the influence that social media has on Islamic understanding shows a figure of 17.9%. Social media has an influence in shaping students' understanding and behavior regarding morals. Students who have good personalities and are not easily influenced by anything can determine their understanding of the information received via Instagram social media.

Abstract

Media is a form of communication that aims to send messages from the sender to the recipient in oral or written form. According to Sriyanti, the types of media that are often used in learning include; print media, practical media, interactive media, E-Learning and M-Learning. The aim of the research carried out was to determine the effect of using assembler media on student motivation and learning achievement in respiratory material. This research used research and development methods. This is a research method used for a particular product and testing the effectiveness of the product. The increase in students' conceptual understanding reflects the positive influence of Assembler media on student learning achievement. Apart from that, the use of this media also has the potential to increase students' learning motivation, although direct evaluation of motivation was not carried out in this research. However, positive responses from students to such media can be considered as a potential indicator of increased motivation

Abstract

In the context of post-pandemic learning recovery, the Ministry of Education and Culture has officially implemented the latest curriculum entitled independent learning which will begin to be implemented in the 2022/2023 academic year in all educational units independently. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning at MTs MINAT Kesugihan as well as the positive impacts and obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning at MTs MINAT Kesugihan. This research applies a qualitative phenomenological approach to the field study type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and document study. The research results show that the independent curriculum implementation process is broken down into three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The positive impacts of implementing the independent curriculum on Islamic Religious Education learning include increasing teacher and student creativity, increasing student enthusiasm and activeness in learning, and increasing teacher enthusiasm in developing their own capacity. The obstacle in implementing the independent curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning is the difficulty of educators in creating fun and quality learning and determining the right themes and content for P5 activities to suit students' interests and talents.

Abstract

The update in Islamic education is a crucial response to the evolving dynamics of social, technological, and cultural aspects. This article explores the concept of modernization within the context of Islamic education, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the relevance of religious values while embracing advancements in science and technology. The discussion encompasses the scope of Islamic education, aiming to nurture individuals who are devout and of high quality, along with research methodologies adopting a literature review approach. Furthermore, the article analyzes the understanding, scope, and teaching methods in Islamic education, as well as the background of educational reforms in Indonesia. The research concludes that the modernization of Islamic education presents both challenges and opportunities in maintaining its relevance amidst changing times.

Abstract

The importance of teacher pedagogical competence which includes the teacher's ability to manage learning such as understanding students, designing learning and evaluating learning in grades can influence student motivation. The aims of this research are: (1) to find out the relationship between teacher pedagogical competence at MTS Al-Hidayah Citaringgul (2) to find out students' awareness of learning motivation at MTS Al-Hidayah Citaringgul (3) to find out whether teachers' pedagogical competence and learning motivation influence on students at MTS Al-Hidayah Citaringgul, Bogor Regency. This research uses quantitative methods using surveys as a data collection technique. Teacher pedagogical competency questionnaires and learning motivation questionnaires were distributed to 152 class IX students at Mts Al-Hidayah Citaringgul. The results of this research are: (1) PAI pedagogical competence at MTS Al-Hidayah Citaringgul is included in the quite good category with a score of 72.13 (2) The learning motivation of class IX students at MTS Al-Hidayah Citaringgul is included in the very good category with a score of 68.85 (3) There is no significant relationship between teacher pedagogical competence and learning motivation of class IX students at the Al-Hidawiyah Al-Hidawiyah Madrasah, Citaringgul, Bogor Regency.
