Abstract

Early childhood education is an important foundation in child development. One of the key factors in the success of early childhood education is the role of parents. This article aims to explore and analyze the role of parents in the early childhood education process in RA. Pozuhra. The research method used is qualitative research using observation and interview techniques with parents and teachers at RA. Pozuhra. Research findings show that the role of parents has a significant impact on early childhood development, including in social, emotional and cognitive aspects. Parents in RA. Pozuhra acts as a partner in education, supporting children's learning and reinforcing the values ​​taught in schools. The implication of this research is the importance of actively involving parents in the early childhood education process to improve the quality of education and ensure children's holistic development.

Abstract

Language is used as a means of communication between users.  Through language, communication between users or speakers can occur well if there is the same understanding between speakers. When someone speaks, there is an interlocutor who will respond to his words. The formulation of the problem that will be discussed is the analysis of speech act events.  This research aims to describe every sentence containing locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary events of the characters in the "3600 second film". This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely describing each dialogue delivered by a character. The type of research is literature. The data source in this research is a 3600 second film. Data collection techniques in this research are listening techniques and note-taking techniques. The film depicts how speech act events are conveyed, so that locutionary events are informative, illocutionary events that will have an impact on the listener such as making an offer to the interlocutor and perlocutionary events that are persuasive to experience physical changes that occur in the interlocutor. The results of this research include locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts that are clearly stated.

Abstract

In general, humans interact to foster cooperation between each other to form, develop and pass on their culture in the broadest sense. In everyday life, of course, we don't just use formal language. When you are angry, the language used tends to be stiff and also has connotations. This research was conducted because swear words are not only used when angry, but swear words are also used in intimate and relaxed situations. Swear words also have the aim of insulting, belittling, expressing disappointment, admiration/surprise and praise. This research refers to a qualitative approach and uses two methods, namely the proficient free-involved listening method and the note-taking method. In this research, it is a method carried out by listening which is paralleled with observation, showing and studying carefully the object under study, the researcher records swearing in busy situations, the swearing data is then recorded in a data folio for analysis. The data analysis method used is the extralingual matching method. The results of the research show that Medan people mostly use swear words, almost eighty-five percent. Meanwhile, fifteen percent of Medan people use swear words in the form of phrases.

Abstract

Philosophy is an integral part of education, serving as its very foundation. Throughout history, various philosophical frameworks have emerged, including behaviorism. Despite some opinions that dismiss behaviorism as outdated in contemporary education, it possesses notable strengths alongside its weaknesses. Behaviorism is predicated on the idea that education involves changes in behavior, which can be achieved through guided repetition by educators. This approach offers advantages applicable to various subjects, including biology, as it addresses students' comprehensive competencies. Educators should selectively apply behaviorist principles in suitable learning contexts to maximize its benefits while mitigating its drawbacks.

Abstract

This study discusses educational communication strategies to improve the quality of education in the Generation Z era, which requires a communication approach that suits the unique characteristics influenced by technology. Using a qualitative approach and literature analysis, the research aims to identify effective educational communication strategies for Generation Z. Key findings include visual preferences, personalization, interactivity, problem-based learning, immersive technology, digital mentoring, flexibility, and social responsibility. Recommended strategies include visual content, adaptive learning, online discussions, VR/AR, digital mentoring, mobile learning, social projects, gamification, and multi-platform communication. It is important to understand the characteristics of Generation Z and adapt in relevant and effective ways, as well as create education that is technologically advanced and of great value. Implementation suggestions include digital teacher training, online cultural diplomacy, and educational media policies. This research provides valuable guidance for the development of educational strategies that suit the needs of Z Generation.

Abstract

This article aims to observe and examine the implementation of Qiyas in everyday life, considering that Qiyas is quite important because it is one of the foundations for establishing Islamic law. The main issue discussed is what Qiyas is, and the extent of the urgency of implementing Qiyas in everyday life. This paper is included in research that uses library methods, because it involves a series of activities related to collecting data from written sources, reading, recording, and analyzing research materials. The results of this research conclude that Qiyas is an important component in establishing Islamic law, which will serve as a guide for its application in existance life.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe the language acquisition system of children aged 4 years, especially which includes spoken words. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The research subject was Revanya Ginting, a 4-year-old child. It can be concluded that: 1). The results of the Mean Length Utterance (MLU) calculation for 4-year-old Revanya were 2.68 words per utterance, and it can be concluded that the child's language acquisition is still not in accordance with Brown's MLU theory. In Brown's theory regarding MLU (mean length of utterance), at stage VI the age range of 4 years should be 4.5 utterances while Revanya is 2.68 utterances. 2) Research subjects are able to say basic sentence patterns such as: S+P+O, S+P.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest consumers of cooking oil in the world. Cooking oil functions to conduct heat in frying food. Used cooking oil or used cooking oil can be used and utilized. Disposal of used cooking oil can also cause environmental damage. Therefore, we need to be able to utilize used cooking oil into something that has economic value for society. This program is implemented to educate children at the Vallery orphanage so they can make an innovative aromatherapy candle product using used cooking oil. This activity aims to provide understanding to the children of the Vallery Orphanage as partners in the use of used cooking oil as an ingredient for making aromatherapy candles. This aromatherapy candle can provide a step that can potentially be developed as an alternative income for nursing home managers because it has economic value. This program is implemented as a real action from the leadership project course which aims to train the ability of PPG Pre-service students to lead through service learning activities or the ability to serve the community or society. Through this program, students are expected to be able to contribute to solving problems that exist in society. The implementation method for this activity is socialization by means of a presentation and followed by training in making aromatherapy candles made from used cooking oil.

Abstract

This research aims to explain that language acquisition refers to the process in which individuals acquire the ability to use and understand language. This process generally begins at an early age and continues throughout life. Children experience rapid language acquisition through interaction with the surrounding environment, while at older ages, language acquisition involves formal learning and exposure to language variations. Language acquisition involves several stages, including understanding phonology (sounds of language), morphology (word structure), syntax (sentence structure), semantics (meaning of words and sentences), and pragmatics (use of language in social contexts). Genetic and environmental factors play an important role in language acquisition, and each individual experiences unique language development. It is important to note that language acquisition is not only about understanding linguistic structures, but also about using language in communicative situations. This process involves complex interactions between the cognitive, social, and emotional aspects of the individual. Language acquisition is a fundamental ability that supports human communication and plays a role in overall cognitive development.

Abstract

This writing intends to tell the story of the khabar, God willing, in the prayer of the Prophet Zakariyah to Allah SWT which explains the meaning of the Prophet Zakarivah to Allah SWT. This type of research uses quantitative methods with the research object being the dialogue of the Prophet Zakariyah AS. The findings show that there are, in fact, seven verses that contain kalam khabar, and God willing, in the Dialogue of the Prophet Zakariyah in Surah Maryam the use of words in the dialogue is not based on their true meaning because the recipient of the information knows more about the information conveyed. kalam khabar in this dialogue aims to convey information to those who know it. It's the same with kalam ins'ya which shows not the true meaning. because a command in this verse is from bottom to top, the form of the word command in this verse cannot be called a command because the command is from top to bottom, so in this verse it is not an order but in the form of a prayer (request)
