Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology and artificial intelligence has reshaped the landscape of mass communication, transforming audiences from passive recipients into active content producers. This shift has heightened both the opportunities and the risks associated with digital media use, particularly with the emergence of deepfake technology—AI-generated audio or video designed to mimic real individuals. Deepfakes have introduced new challenges related to misinformation, reputational harm, privacy violations, and declining public trust. In this context, digital literacy becomes essential, especially for Communication Science students who occupy a strategic position as both active media users and future information gatekeepers. This study investigates the digital literacy of Communication Science students in Denpasar in responding to deepfake phenomena. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation to explore students’ skills, critical understanding, ethical awareness, and participation in digital environments. The findings reveal that students possess strong digital literacy in terms of technical ability, critical evaluation of information, and ethical considerations when engaging with digital content. However, their involvement in digital literacy advocacy remains limited, indicating the need for more structured educational initiatives. Overall, the study highlights the importance of integrating deepfake awareness and ethical digital literacy into communication education to strengthen students’ resilience against AI-driven media manipulation and to promote a more responsible and informed digital society.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of using the Unjumble Word Wall media in improving students’ vocabulary mastery in English language learning. A quantitative experimental design was employed by administering pre-tests and post-tests to seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Parongpong, West Java. The experimental group received vocabulary instruction using the Unjumble Word Wall application, while the control group was taught using the standard Word Wall media. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, N-Gain analysis, and paired sample t-tests. The results indicate a significant improvement in vocabulary mastery among students who used the Unjumble Word Wall media. The post-test mean score (M = 89.77) was substantially higher than the pre-test mean score (M = 48.37), demonstrating the effectiveness of the Unjumble feature in enhancing students’ vocabulary learning. The N-Gain percentage (78.77%), categorized as high, further confirms the strong impact of the media. Despite these positive outcomes, several challenges were noted, including students’ varying digital literacy and limited internet access during learning sessions. In conclusion, integrating the Unjumble Word Wall media into English vocabulary instruction provides an effective, engaging, and interactive learning experience that enhances students’ vocabulary mastery and participation in class activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaji dan motivasi terhadap produktivitas karyawan pada PT. Terusan Indah Perkasa. Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada pentingnya kompensasi yang adil dan motivasi kerja yang tinggi dalam meningkatkan kinerja serta produktivitas karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi sebanyak 105 karyawan dan sampel 51 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan tiga variabel utama, yaitu gaji, motivasi, dan produktivitas. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedastisitas, serta uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaji dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan, di mana motivasi menjadi faktor paling dominan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keseimbangan antara pemberian gaji yang layak dan strategi motivasi yang berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja karyawan.

Abstract

The core goal of the research is to determine the impact of green packaging, emotional branding, and digital customer experience on the selection of health products' brands. The main reasons for this study are the demand for green products, emotional connection with brands, and the migration of consumers from offline to online for information and purchases. The research employed a quantitative explanatory design with health product consumers being the sample population of 200 participants, who had online interaction with the brands and were selected through purposive sampling. The instrument of the study was initially evaluated for validity and reliability and then underwent classical assumption tests prior to the application of multiple linear regression analysis. Each of the three independent variables was found to have a major beneficial impact on brand preference. The coefficient of determination value shows that the model is capable of explaining the variations in brand preference. This study, when considering its theoretical implications, adds to the existing understanding of the topic of consumer behavior and modern marketing strategies in the health care sector. Additionally, the findings of the study provide a roadmap for companies to gain competitive advantage by incorporating eco-friendly packaging, upgrading emotional branding, and digitalizing experiences to facilitate brand preference creation more effectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan Building Information Modelling (BIM) terhadap efisiensi manajemen proyek konstruksi di Indonesia dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen proyek yang melibatkan BIM engineer, project manager, konsultan, serta tenaga teknis lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BIM berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi proyek melalui empat aspek utama: akurasi desain, efektivitas koordinasi, efisiensi biaya, dan optimalisasi perencanaan waktu. Pada aspek desain, fitur clash detection terbukti mengurangi kesalahan teknis dan rework secara signifikan. Sementara itu, koordinasi lintas disiplin berlangsung lebih efektif karena seluruh pemangku kepentingan bekerja menggunakan model terintegrasi yang mempercepat proses komunikasi dan pengambilan keputusan.Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa BIM mampu meningkatkan efisiensi biaya melalui perhitungan otomatis dalam 5D modelling, yang memudahkan penyesuaian anggaran sesuai perubahan desain. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengungkap hambatan berupa rendahnya kompetensi SDM, keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, resistensi organisasi, dan minimnya standardisasi nasional. Faktor-faktor tersebut menyebabkan adopsi BIM belum dilakukan secara optimal pada seluruh tahapan proyek, terutama pada fase konstruksi dan operasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya strategi transformasi digital yang mencakup pelatihan berkelanjutan, investasi teknologi, penyusunan standar BIM, dan dukungan kebijakan pemerintah untuk mempercepat penerapan BIM secara menyeluruh. Dengan demikian, BIM memiliki potensi besar sebagai alat strategis dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas proyek konstruksi di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the patterns of mother-tongue phonological interference that appear in the English pronunciation of non–English major students through the analysis of speaking task videos. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research focuses on segmental and suprasegmental deviations, particularly changes in vowel and consonant sounds as well as word stress patterns influenced by the phonological system of the first language. Data were obtained from ten student videos and analyzed using phonological theory. The findings indicate that phonological interference occurs consistently in several major forms, namely: (1) the substitution of consonant sounds that do not exist in Indonesian, such as /v/→/f/, /ð/→/d/, and /θ/→/t/; (2) the failure to reduce schwa vowels, resulting in all vowels being pronounced fully; (3) the simplification of diphthongs into monophthongs, such as /oʊ/→/o/ and /aɪ/→/e/; (4) the deletion of final consonants and simplification of consonant clusters; and (5) stress shifts caused by the syllable-timed rhythmic pattern of Indonesian. These deviations demonstrate a strong influence of the mother tongue’s phonology on the production of English utterances, affecting the naturalness and intelligibility of pronunciation. This study provides an important contribution to pronunciation teaching, particularly in developing learners’ phonological awareness. By understanding the characteristics of the first language sound system and its differences from English, instructors can design more effective articulatory and prosodic training strategies to significantly improve students’ pronunciation skills

Abstract

Sengketa pertanahan sering terjadi di Indonesia, terutama akibat kesalahan administrasi pertanahan seperti penerbitan sertifikat ganda atau tindakan maladministrasi lainnya. Kasus tersebut ada dalam perkara Nomor 3/G/2023/PTUN.YK, di mana seorang penggugat mengajukan gugatan terhadap Kepala Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Sleman terkait pembatalan Sertifikat Hak Milik (SHM) yang dinilai cacat hukum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kompetensi absolut Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara (PTUN) dalam menyelesaikan sengketa pertanahan yang objeknya adalah keputusan administrasi, dengan menggunakan pendekatan perbandingan antara konsep das sollen (ketentuan normatif) dan das sein (realita). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara normatif PTUN berwenang menyelesaikan sengketa pertanahan apabila objek gugatannya adalah Keputusan Tata Usaha Negara (KTUN) di bidang pertanahan. Namun, praktik hukum di lapangan membatasi wewenang tersebut. Berdasarkan Pasal 32 ayat (2) PP No. 24 Tahun 1997 dan Pasal 64 PP No. 18 Tahun 2021, gugatan pembatalan sertifikat hanya dapat diajukan dalam jangka waktu 5 tahun sejak diterbitkan. Dalam kasus ini, karena sertifikat diterbitkan pada tahun 1999 sementara gugatan diajukan tahun 2023, gugatan tidak dapat diproses lebih lanjut. Dalam hal ini ditemukan adanya kesenjangan antara idealisme norma hukum dan implementasi penyelesaian sengketa pertanahan di lapangan, yang berdampak pada terhalangnya perwujudan keadilan substantif.

Abstract

Peranan sektor pertanian di Indonesia sangat penting dalam memberikan kontribusi yang besar dalam pembangunan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan petani. Peranan sektor pertanian adalah sebagai sumber penghasil bahan kebutuhan pokok, sandang dan papan, menyediakan lapangan kerja. Memberikan sumbangan terhadap pendapatan nasional yang tinggi, dan memberian devisa bagi negara. Pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan petani tergantung pada tingkat pendapatan petani dan keuntungan yang didapat dari sektor pertanian itu sendiri. Sektor pertanian merupakan andalan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sebagian masyarakat karena tinggal dipedesaan dan bekerja di sektor pertanian. Tanaman nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth) adalah tanaman perkebunan penghasil minyak atsiri utama masyarakat. Strategi peningkatan penjualan atau pemasaran suatu produk perlu dipahami oleh setiap produsen atau penjual. Strategi tersebut akan berubah setiap adanya perubahan lingkungan bisnis atau perubahan perilaku konsumen dalam memilih, membeli dan menggunakan suatu produk. Pelaku bisnis harus mampu melakukan perubahan strategi atau cara penjualan dengan adanya perubahan perilaku tersebut. Dalam era digital seperti saat ini, strategi pemasaran yang efektif dan cerdas menjadi kunci kesuksesan bagi para pelaku bisnis pertanian dan perkebunan. Seiring perkembangan teknologi digital, para pelaku usaha pertanian dan perkebunan harus mengikuti tren tersebut. Green marketing berbasis website adalah strategi pemasaran yang mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan dan kepedulian lingkungan kedalam aktivitas pemasaran online, seperti website, blog, media sosial, dan email marketing. Membangun dan memanfaatkan situs web bisnis, mengoptimasi media sosial, dan menggunakan aplikasi pemasaran digital adalah langkah penting dalam mencapai audiens yang lebih luas, bagi para pengunjung, web memberikan kemudahan dan kecepatan dalam mencari informasi, memperkenalkan dan membeli produk, dan mendapatkan pengalaman baru.

Abstract

The proposed research aims to explore the effectiveness of Green-Themed Project-Based Learning (PBL) in enhancing EFL learners' environmental awareness and communicative capabilities. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group was used, which included 20 university students in a control group with conventional instruction and an experimental group with a green-themed PBL intervention that occurred over four instruction sessions. Two instruments were used in the research: a Likert-type scale of environmental sensitivity and a communicative skills assessment rubric that assesses fluency, vocabulary use, coherence, and interaction. Independent-samples t-tests were also applied to compare gain scores between the groups and to estimate the effect size, which was computed using Cohen’s d. As it was found, students in the experimental group exhibited much higher improvement in both environmental sensitivity (t = -6.52, p < 0.001, d = 1.98) and communicative skills (t = -5.61, p < 0.001, d = 1.71) in comparison with the students in the control group. These findings indicate that Green-Themed PBL is an effective tool that enhances students' ecological awareness and, at the same time, boosts their communicative competence. The study found that implementing environmentally oriented PBL in ELT teaching can offer valuable educational opportunities that help achieve language competency and ecological literacy. The results point to the pedagogical importance of sustainability-oriented learning in EFL classrooms and the tendency to introduce wider application of contextually specific project-based strategies in higher education.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the white label production model within the global market and its implications for the development and sustainability of local fashion industries. Drawing on theoretical perspectives and empirical findings, the research reveals that white label systems provide significant advantages for emerging brands by reducing capital barriers, accelerating production processes, and enabling rapid market entry. The increasing digitalization of global supply chains further strengthens the accessibility of foreign manufacturers, allowing local brands to source ready-made products efficiently. However, the study also identifies substantial challenges, including product homogenization, declining brand differentiation, dependence on overseas manufacturers, and weakened competitiveness of domestic textile and garment sectors. Additionally, the widespread use of generic designs contributes to the erosion of cultural identity within local fashion. Overall, the findings indicate that while the white label model offers strategic opportunities for brand growth, it simultaneously poses long-term risks to industrial resilience and creative sustainability. The study highlights the need for balanced strategies that integrate white label advantages with efforts to strengthen originality, cultural expression, and local manufacturing capacity.
