Abstract

Environmental awareness needs to be instilled from an early age because children are the next generation who will face various ecological challenges in the future. One approach that can be implemented is ecoprint training, a technique for printing motifs on fabric using natural leaves, flowers, and plants without using harmful chemicals. This study aims to describe the implementation of ecoprint activities in developing creativity and environmentally conscious character in students at SD Negeri 1 Waringinkurung. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with subjects in grades IV and V, teachers, and the principal. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and student work, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that ecoprint activities were able to enhance students' creativity through exploration of shapes, colors, and compositions of natural motifs, while simultaneously fostering environmentally conscious character through the use of natural materials, maintaining cleanliness, reducing waste, and preserving plants. Thus, ecoprint is a fun, contextual, and effective learning alternative to support character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pendekatan Learning by Doing efektif mendukung perubahan perilaku pengelolaan sampah sekaligus mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Pesticides encompass chemical substances, microorganisms, viruses, and other agents used to control agricultural pests. Excessive use can pose risks to human health due to their toxicity. Farmers often opt for pesticides to improve crop quality and mitigate pest infestations; however, this practice has led to numerous cases of pesticide poisoning. Matesih Village, located in the Matesih District of Karanganyar, Central Java, Indonesia, enjoys a cool climate due to its position on the slopes of Mount Lawu an extinct volcano which renders the soil highly fertile and supports a local economy largely driven by agriculture. Many local farmers utilize chemical pesticides without fully realizing the associated health risks. Consequently, there is a need to raise awareness regarding the biological and molecular health effects of pesticides and to introduce methods for minimizing residues, such as the use of vegetable-washing products. The program's success was evidenced by an increase in the average score from 60.22 in the pre-test to 80.04 in the post-test, demonstrating improved participant understanding. Questionnaire results indicated high levels of participant satisfaction regarding the material presentation, product usage demonstrations, and the practical benefits applicable to daily life. The vegetable-washing product innovation serves not only as an alternative for residue reduction but also holds potential for further development as a natural-based health product.

Abstract

Digital technology has transformed how young people learn, communicate, and access religious information, creating opportunities and challenges for internalizing moderate Islamic values. This community service program aimed to strengthen Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah (Aswaja) values and improve digital literacy among IPNU and IPPNU cadres through digital storytelling training at the MAKESTA Forum of IIKNU Tuban Campus. The program used an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through five stages: Define, Discovery, Dream, Design, and Destiny. Participants were purposively selected from MAKESTA participants as novice cadres with potential in organizational experience, communication, creativity, and digital media use. Data were collected through observation, interviews, group discussions, documentation, pre-tests, post-tests, and evaluation of digital storytelling products. Results showed improved understanding of Aswaja values, particularly tawassuth, tasamuh, tawazun, and i’tidal. Participants also improved their abilities to develop messages, construct narratives, produce creative digital content, and communicate moderate Islamic values. The program produced educational videos, social media content, and visual narratives, supporting innovative kaderization and developing creative, adaptive, and responsible digital da’wah agents.

Abstract

In the midst of escalating industrial complexity in the digital era, the optimization of Supply Chain Management (SCM) becomes a key determinant of operational efficiency. However, a significant gap exists between students' theoretical understanding and practical mastery of decision-support software. This limitation in computational tool literacy potentially hinders graduates' competitiveness in the global job market. This community service activity aims to escalate students' technical skills through a webinar titled “UNLOCK YOUR SCM SKILLS: Forecasting, MRP, Transport - All in One Using POM QM” held on November 29, 2025. The implementation method was conducted online, encompassing comprehensive material dissemination and interactive questionnaire-based evaluation. The training focused on practical problem-solving in transportation using North West Corner and Least Cost methods, as well as the integration of Forecasting and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) modules. The service outcome demonstrated active participation from 84 participants affiliated with Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH), Politeknik Kampar, and Institut Teknologi Perkebunan Pelalawan Indonesia (ITP2I). Quantitative evaluation revealed a highly significant relevance of the material with an average score of 4.52 out of 5.00. Participants confirmed that mastering POM-QM software is highly applicable in supporting academic tasks, internship report preparation, and professional readiness. Overall, this activity effectively mitigates the competency discrepancy between SCM theory and practical implementation among students.

Abstract

Hypertension and diabetes mellitus remain major persistent non-communicable health problems requiring prompt recognition, prevention, and control. Insufficient community awareness regarding disease triggers, preventive strategies, and routine health monitoring remains a key issue. Therefore, this community service program aimed to enhance knowledge on hypertension and diabetes mellitus prevention, promote early screening awareness, and foster healthier lifestyle behaviors among residents of Paloh Village, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency. Conducted in August 2026 at the Paloh Village Hall, the activity engaged 27 participants through interactive lectures, leaflets, discussion sessions, and basic health examinations covering blood pressure, random blood glucose, and uric acid. Evaluation through pre- and post-tests demonstrated a clear knowledge increase, with the average score rising from 84.44 to 94.81, representing a 10.37-point improvement or roughly 12.3%. Specifically, 12 participants achieved better results, 15 maintained their initial scores, and none showed lower outcomes. These findings indicate that combining interactive education with printed material effectively strengthens community understanding regarding hypertension and diabetes mellitus prevention, while reinforcing the vital importance of early screening and healthy living habits.
