Abstract

This research aims to understand the role of spiritual communication in building the Masjid Preneur movement in Indonesia, a movement that integrates Islamic spiritual values into mosque-based entrepreneurship development. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used in this study, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from several mosques actively involved in entrepreneurial activities. The study highlights how spiritual communication delivered by religious leaders, such as imams and ustaz, has shaped a work ethic based on Islamic values such as honesty, hard work, and responsibility. The results indicate that spiritual communication plays a significant role in motivating the mosque community to engage in economic activities that not only pursue material gain but also social and spiritual well-being. However, several challenges were identified in implementing this movement, including religious leaders' limited knowledge of modern business practices and the generational gap among community members. This research concludes that the sustainability of the Masjid Preneur movement depends on the mosque's ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the community, particularly through collaboration with various stakeholders and the application of business practices relevant to current developments without compromising Islamic values. These findings provide insights into the importance of spiritual communication in supporting faith-based entrepreneurship within mosque environments.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the future development of Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) and identify the key implications and challenges that this technology will face. In the face of the technological revolution, especially with the adoption of 5G networks and integration with the Internet of Things (IoT), MCC has the potential to transform various industry sectors. The study employs a qualitative methodology through a literature review and semi-structured interviews with experts in cloud technology, mobile computing, and technology policy. The literature review is conducted to understand the latest technological trends and the challenges faced by MCC, while interviews provide direct insights from industry practitioners and policymakers about the future of MCC. The research findings indicate that MCC will increasingly integrate with 5G technology and IoT, enabling the adoption of more complex applications such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI). However, several key challenges need to be addressed, such as data security issues, reliance on network infrastructure, and regulations that are not yet fully adaptive to MCC developments. Experts emphasize the importance of enhancing security standards, developing edge computing to reduce latency, and fostering collaboration between governments and industry to create policies that support innovation.

Abstract

This research aims to support teachers at MA PP Syekh Andurrahman Rabah in utilizing the Imagination Suggestion method to enhance student creativity. The study employed a qualitative approach, specifically action research, involving multiple cycles of training, mentoring, and classroom implementation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and analysis of student works to evaluate the impact of this method on creativity. The findings indicate that after receiving training, teachers demonstrated increased confidence and proficiency in applying the Imagination Suggestion method across various subjects, including mathematics and science, which were initially perceived as less suitable for creative approaches. Moreover, students exhibited notable improvements in creative thinking skills, including divergent thinking, problem-solving flexibility, and the willingness to express new ideas. The research highlights the positive correlation between the implementation of the Imagination Suggestion method and the development of creativity among students, suggesting that an imaginative and supportive learning environment fosters greater engagement and innovation. Ultimately, this study provides significant insights into the importance of integrating creative teaching methods in educational practices, particularly in madrasah settings. The research concludes by offering recommendations for other educational institutions to adopt similar innovative approaches to enhance student creativity.

Abstract

Ria Norsan, an ethnic Malay from Mempawah, is the incumbent Deputy Governor of West Kalimantan who has served since 2019. He is running in the contestation of Pilkada Kalbar 2024 as a candidate for Governor alongside with Krisantus Kurniawan, an ethnic Dayak from Sintang, also an incumbent member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR-RI) since 2019 representing the electoral district of West Kalimantan II (Sanggau, Sintang, Melawi, Kapuas Hulu and Melawi Regencies), who is carried as a candidate for Deputy Governor. Now, both are competing in the contestation of the 2024 West Kalimantan Regional Election (Pilkada Kalbar 2024) as a Candidate Pair (paslon) for West Kalimantan Governor Candidate (Cagub) and Deputy Governor Candidate (Cawagub) Number 2. The research method used in this paper is a qualitative approach with content analysis from the perspective of Narrative Persuasion and Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM). Data were collected through literature studies and media news to identify the political messages of this pair throughout Pilkada Kalbar 2024. The results showed that candidate number 2 conveyed clearly and straightforwardly to be able to create interpersonal relationships with the community through the narratives built. The conclusions of this paper include the need to combine political messages to be balanced between peripheral and central channels in the ELM approach. This combination is expected to gain votes for both and smooth the political path in the Pilkada Kalbar 2024. Suggestions for further research are to analyze political messages using other perspectives to enrich the repertoire of readers and provide valuable input for those who will contest.

Abstract

In this study, the researcher explores the role of social media in constructing political identity in the digital era. The research analyzes how social media platforms facilitate the expression and formation of individual and group political identities and how this influences the dynamics of communication and social interaction within the political realm.  The main focus of this study is on two aspects:  First, the changing dynamics of political communication and interaction. Social media provides new spaces for political expression but, on the other hand, can also facilitate the creation of 'echo chambers' that reinforce political polarization and the spread of disinformation. Second, the impact on democracy: this research examines how social media affects public perception and political decisions, and how these platforms can be used to mobilize political support.  A qualitative approach is used to gain a deep understanding of the impact of social media in the contemporary political context.  The findings of this study highlight the importance of digital literacy as a key to combating disinformation, and polarization,  and maintaining the health of democracy in the digital era.

Abstract

Social media is now not only a platform for sharing photos and videos but has become a channel for MSMEs to promote their products. This research will discuss how the @bagja.id account uses visual and narrative content on Instagram to build a strong brand image and increase the visibility of the MSMEs it represents. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method in which a social phenomenon will be analyzed and interpreted and then connected with relevant theories. The results of this research show that the management of an MSME account must be managed well by paying attention to the use of hashtags, copywriting, and building interaction with followers. The important thing to pay attention to is how the process of building interaction with followers in account management is very important because this can build brand awareness. Based on an analysis of the @Bagja.id account, it can be concluded that they have succeeded in adopting a soft-selling marketing strategy with a focus on visual content such as photos, videos, and reels.  Apart from that, managing content and information in the account is very important to create a relationship between the account and followers which will later create brand awareness.
