Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of academic administrative service quality and user satisfaction on the effectiveness of Academic Management Information System (SIMA) usage in higher education. Service quality was evaluated using the SERVQUAL dimensions, while user satisfaction was assessed through four key indicators. A quantitative survey of 333 students, supported by qualitative interviews, was employed. Multiple regression analysis shows that service quality significantly affects SIMA usage (β = 0.379; p = 0.000), and user satisfaction also has a strong positive effect (β = 1.053; p = 0.000). Together, both variables explain 47% of the variance in SIMA usage (R² = 0.470). Descriptive findings indicate that assurance and responsiveness are the weakest aspects of service quality, while the confirmation dimension requires attention within user satisfaction. Although system and information quality are generally rated well, issues remain regarding information relevance and system assurance. Overall, the study highlights the need for a holistic strategy that simultaneously enhances service quality and user satisfaction to improve SIMA effectiveness in supporting academic processes

Abstract

This study focuses on the low shooting ability of female handball athletes, resulting from a lack of proper training and motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of squat thrust training and motivation on improving shooting in handball athletes. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test design. Twenty female handball athletes were involved, divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received squat thrust training, while the control group received conventional treatment. Data analysis used a t-test using IBM SPSS V24. The results showed a significant improvement in shooting ability in the experimental group compared to the control group, as evidenced by a p-value <0.05 in the t-test, indicating that the treatment significantly impacted shooting ability. This is in line with research findings that specific training can improve technical performance, and motivation plays a crucial role in consistent training. Squat thrust training, coupled with motivation, had a positive and significant effect on improving shooting skills. Trainers recommend combining physical training with a psychological approach to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

This aims study investigates the influence of leg muscle power, flexibility, and self-confidence on the crescent kick speed of Pencak Silat athletes at the Laskar Silat Nusantara School in Kampar Regency. Employing a quantitative correlational design, the research involved 30 student-athletes selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using standardized measurements: vertical jump for leg muscle power, sit-and-reach for flexibility, a psychological scale for self-confidence, and a stopwatch-based crescent kick speed test. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, Pearson product–moment correlation, and multiple regression. The findings show significant positive correlations between crescent kick speed and leg muscle power (r = 0.63), flexibility (r = 0.54), and self-confidence (r = 0.48). Multiple regression analysis further indicates that the three variables collectively contribute significantly to kick speed (p < 0.05), explaining 58% of its variance (R² = 0.58). Leg muscle power was identified as the strongest predictor. These results highlight the importance of integrating physical conditioning and psychological development to enhance technical performance. The study underscores the need for training programs that balance strength, flexibility, and mental readiness in martial arts education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the numeracy skills of 10th-grade students in solving contextual mathematical problems, reviewed based on their critical thinking and growth mindset levels. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects were 108 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 6 Padang, Data were collected through numeracy tests, critical thinking tests, growth mindset questionnaires, and in-depth interviews. Data analysis was descriptive, referring to indicators of numeracy, critical thinking, and growth mindset. The findings show that students with high critical thinking and high growth mindset levels exhibit optimal numeracy skills, categorized as high. Students with high critical thinking but moderate growth mindset still achieved high numeracy skills, while high critical thinking but low growth mindset resulted in moderate numeracy. Conversely, students with moderate critical thinking showed varied results; high growth mindset helped improve numeracy to moderate, whereas low growth mindset worsened outcomes. Students with low critical thinking, even with a high growth mindset, still demonstrated low numeracy. The combination of low critical thinking and low growth mindset yielded the lowest numeracy results. In conclusion, students with high critical thinking have better numeracy skills in analyzing information, using problem-solving strategies, and drawing logical conclusions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of parental attention, facilities and infrastructure, and learning motivation on motor skills among students at SD Negeri 2 Bengkulu Selatan. The research employed a quantitative approach with a path analysis method. The population comprised all students of SD Negeri 2 Bengkulu Selatan, with a sample of 25 students selected through total sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 30.The results indicated that (1) parental attention had a significant direct effect on motor skills (ρyx1 = 0.395; Sig. = 0.044 < 0.05); (2) facilities and infrastructure had no significant direct effect on motor skills (ρyx2 = 0.064; Sig. = 0.742 > 0.05); (3) learning motivation had a significant direct effect on motor skills (ρyx3 = 0.400; Sig. = 0.034 < 0.05). Moreover, the variables of parental attention, facilities and infrastructure, and learning motivation simultaneously contributed 40.3% to motor skills development. It can be concluded that parental attention and learning motivation play dominant roles in enhancing students’ motor skills, whereas the availability of facilities and infrastructure serves a more supportive, indirect function.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of learning outcomes in Creative Product and Entrepreneurship, creativity, and emotional intelligence to the entrepreneurial interest of XII grade students at SMKS Korpri Duri. This research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the contribution of each independent variable to the dependent variable. The population consisted of 127 students, with a sample of 97 selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale, which had been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis results show that the three independent variables learning outcomes, creativity, and emotional intelligence simultaneously have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest, with an F-value of 28.836 and significance level of 0.000. Partially, learning outcomes (B = 0.265; sig. 0.000), creativity (B = 0.367; sig. 0.000), and emotional intelligence (B = 0.170; sig. 0.000) each have a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial interest. The R Square value of 0.592 indicates that these three independent variables contribute 59.2% to students' entrepreneurial interest. Thus, it can be concluded that learning outcomes, creativity, and emotional intelligence are key factors in fostering entrepreneurial interest among vocational school students.

Abstract

The integration of Augmented Reality (AR) in vocational and mechanical engineering education has become increasingly important in the era of Industry 4.0, where digital competence and practical skills are essential. This systematic literature review aims to identify research trends, methodologies, learning contexts, and challenges related to the use of AR in vocational mechanical engineering education. Guided by the PRISMA framework, a total of 13 empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025 were collected from Scopus and ScienceDirect databases and analysed based on research design, learning topics, and educational outcomes. The findings reveal that most studies employed quasi-experimental and R&D approaches, integrating AR into subjects such as mechanical systems, thermodynamics, structural analysis, CNC machining, and engineering drawing. Across these studies, AR consistently improved learning achievement, spatial reasoning, motivation, and engagement. However, common challenges included hardware limitations, model precision issues, usability constraints, and a lack of teacher readiness. These results highlight AR’s strong potential to enhance technical learning experiences and bridge the gap between theoretical and practical understanding in vocational engineering education.

Abstract

This article examines the urgency of dialogical and transformative Christian Religious Education (PAK) in the context of a pluralistic society. It examines the thoughts of Paul F. Knitter and Pahala J. Simanjuntak as representatives of the theology of interreligious dialogue and prophetic educational practice in Indonesia. Knitter's idea of ​​mutual transformation in the theology of religions offers a new paradigm for the existence of Christian faith amidst plurality, while Simanjuntak's approach emphasizes the importance of contextual, liberating, and social justice-oriented Christian education. This article employs a qualitative approach with a critical-hermeneutic analysis of the main works of both figures, and examines them within the framework of Paulo Freire's pluralistic theology of religions and critical pedagogy. The results demonstrate that the integration of dialogical theology and transformative pedagogy enables the realization of PAK that not only maintains the authentic identity of the Christian faith but also opens itself to interreligious dynamics and global humanitarian challenges. Thus, Christian Education can become a field of liberatory practice that brings together spirituality, critical reflection, and social transformation in the light of the Gospel.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate a Project-Based Learning (PJBL) instructional module for rhythmic movement activities, specifically creative gymnastics, in senior high school physical education. Using the ADDIE development model, the research proceeded through analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Expert validation showed that the module achieved a very valid category, with the material expert scoring it at 88% and the PJBL expert at 90%, resulting in an overall validity of 89%. A small-group practicality trial demonstrated strong feasibility, with students rating the clarity, attractiveness, and usability of the module at an overall score of 88%, categorized as very practical. Effectiveness testing compared learning outcomes between two groups and revealed that the project-based class significantly outperformed the non-project class, achieving a mean score of 90% compared to 78%, yielding a 12% improvement attributed to the PJBL approach. These results confirm that the developed module is theoretically sound, practically feasible, and pedagogically effective. Overall, the module supports the goals of Kurikulum Merdeka by promoting creativity, collaboration, and student-centered learning in rhythmic movement activities.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate a concept-based video tutorial for teaching basic clothing patternmaking in the Fashion Design program at SMK Negeri 6 Padang. Using a Research and Development approach with the 4D model Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate the media was created based on identified student learning difficulties and curriculum needs. The developed video was validated by experts in material, media, and instructional design, yielding high validity scores of 90.5%, 89.7%, and 92.3%, respectively, with an average of 90.8% categorized as highly valid. Field testing was conducted with 30 tenth-grade students using pretests, posttests, and response questionnaires. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes, with the average score rising from 62.80 to 83.40 and an N-Gain of 0.55. Student responses were very positive, achieving an overall practicality rating of 88.6%. These findings demonstrate that the video tutorial is valid, practical, and effective for vocational learning.
