Abstract

The structure of the building will be stable if the response of the structure is able to ignore the static and dynamic loads. The behavioral stability of the building structure is also influenced by geometry, configuration of horizontal and vertical elements, rigidity, lateral ability, and daktility of the structure. (Khanal Chaulagain, 2020). When the structure configuration of the building is irregular, there will be eccentricity which means that the center of the mass is incorrectly at the centre of rigidity (Faisal Darsono, 2019). If such conditions are not anticipated, the structure will be tortured until it eventually collapses. (Naveen dkk., 2019). In Surabaya there are office buildings that have irregular structures. This research will model the structure of the building into five variations. Each variation has a reduction in the value of structural irregularity. Next, we will examine the impact of structural irregularities on the reaction of structures of buildings. The results of the analysis showed that the irregularity of the inner angle had a significant impact on the shift of the roof, with the R-square of 0.9025 in the X axis and 0.9872 in the Y axis. Furthermore, based on the value of the soft level rigidity to the earthquake style at each level, R-quares of 0.8433 were found at the X-axis, and 0.825 at the Y-axe. Furthermore, changes in the inner angle of variations 2, 3, 4, and 5 resulted in successive increases in the mass of the structure by 0.18%, 4.09%, 7.86%, and 0.43%. These increases result in an increase in the basic sliding style in both directions. The variation 5 building designed without an inner angle showed an increase of 0.46% in the base sling style in either direction. Movement targets based on ASCE 41-13 NSP are 321.903 mm and 308.497 mm for the X and Y directions, respectively, which are in the Life Safety and Immediate Occupancy categories. While the total maximum drift values based on ATC-40 for the x and y directions are 0.0148 and 0.0150. The performance of the existing building structure is between B to C on the level of damage control (Immediate Occupancy to Life Safety), which means the building has suffered minor non-structural damage and may suffer structural damage but can still be repaired.

Abstract

Rawa Makmur is located in Muara Bangka Hulu District, Bengkulu City, with an area of 150 hectares and a population of 1,468 people. This area in the form of a swamp has experienced a 30% change in the shape of the land in a period of 3 years and causes flooding during the rainy season. The existing drainage system is unable to accommodate and drain the river. This problem requires planning an environmentally friendly drainage system design (eco-drainage), one of which is using infiltration wells. This study aims to overcome stagnant water in Rawa Makmur Village by implementing an environmentally oriented drainage system (eco-drainage) using infiltration wells. The data used are primary data (measurement of canal dimensions) and secondary data in the form of rainfall data, topographic surveys, soil testing and other supporting data which are processed using hydrological analysis and hydraulic analysis. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, it was found that the intensity of rainfall with a return period of 10 years was 11.25 mm/hour and the planned flood discharge was 0.1039 m3/s. The calculation results are used to design environmentally sound drainage using infiltration wells. The results of the analysis obtained specifications for the depth of infiltration wells of 1.50 m, a diameter of 0.5 m, the distance between infiltration wells is 50 m. The planned eco-drainage can accommodate 0.2943 m3 and can delay water runoff for 3.5846 minutes before seeping into the ground.

Abstract

The Rumpiang Bridge is a Half Through Arch type bridge in Marabahan City, Barito Kuala District. This bridge was constructed in 2003 using loading regulations based on the BMS 1992 regulations. In 2016, the government issued the bridge loading regulations SNI 1725:2016, which introduced differences in loading compared to BMS 1992. Therefore, a structural modeling of the bridge was carried out to determine its capacity using the updated loadings from SNI 1725:2016 and SNI 2833:2016. The research utilized the Midas Civil software for assistance. The assessment of the bridge's capacity was based on the deflection values experienced by the bridge. The analysis results indicated that the maximum deflection values occurred under the combination of Static Load Case 1 and Dynamic Load Case 1. For Static Load Case 1, the maximum deflection values at the center span according to BMS 1992 and SNI 1725:2016 were 47.37 cm and 47.25 cm respectively. For Dynamic Load Case 1, the maximum deflection values at the center span according to BMS 1992 and SNI 1725:2016 were 30.108 cm and 28.41 cm respectively. On the other hand, under seismic loading based on SNI 2833:2016, the displacement experienced by the bridge due to the extreme combination 1 was 13.933 mm. Based on the conducted analysis, it is evident that the loading requirements from SNI 1725:2016 yield deflection results that still meet the criteria compared to the loading requirements from BMS 1992.

Abstract

Abstract: In the city of Meulaboh, Aceh Barat Regency, there are a total of 12 tsunami disaster evacuation routes, with 7 evacuation routes in Johan Pahlawan District and 5 in Meureubo District. Several road segments serving as evacuation routes are located in the city center, often experiencing traffic congestion due to the high volume of public movement. To address this issue, research is needed to measure the community's satisfaction with the evacuation services to determine their effectiveness. Data collection will involve distributing questionnaires. The satisfaction variables assessed include tangible evidence (tangibility), reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. In Johan Pahlawan District, the tangibility variable indicates that the majority of the community agrees with the physical condition of the evacuation routes. However, concerns arise regarding side obstacles, intersections, and traffic lights, with approximately 51.6% of respondents expressing disagreement. The reliability variable shows a high level of agreement regarding the stability of the evacuation routes, while the responsiveness variable indicates that most residents disagree with their understanding of evacuation maps, the scarcity of evacuation signs, and the lack of information about temporary evacuation buildings. Although the assurance variable receives high approval, the empathy variable reflects a lack of trust in the government's role in publicizing evacuation routes. In Meureubo District, the tangibility variable demonstrates a positive assessment of 67.95%, indicating that the physical condition of the evacuation routes is considered adequate. Regarding reliability, 64.6% of the community has high confidence in the stability of the evacuation routes. However, the responsiveness variable, with an average of 46.73%, reveals that most residents have not seen evacuation maps, there is a shortage of evacuation signs, and there is insufficient information from the government about temporary evacuation buildings.Keywords : Evacuation Routes; Community Perception; Service EffectivenessAbstrak: Terdapat 12 jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami pada Kota Meulaboh Kabupaten Aceh Barat, di mana 7 jalur evakuasi Kecamatan Johan Pahlawan dan 5 Jalur Evakuasi Kecamatan Meureubo. Beberapa ruas jalan yang menjadi jalur evakuasi berada di pusat kota, sering terjadi kemacetan lalu lintas yang disebabkan oleh besarnya volume pergerakan masyarakat. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukannya penelitian untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan jalur apakah sudah efektif atau tidak. Pengumpulan data dengan pembagian kuesioner. Adapun variabel penilaian kepuasan masyarakat terhadap jalur evakuasi adalah bukti fisik (tangibility), Kehandalan (reliability), ketanggapan (responsiveness), jaminan (assurance) dan empati (empathy). Pada kecamatan Johan Pahlawan variabel bukti fisik (tangibility) menunjukkan sebagian besar masyarakat setuju terhadap kondisi fisik jalur evakuasi. Namun, terdapat kekhawatiran terkait hambatan samping, simpangan, dan lampu merah yang dapat menghambat proses evakuasi sekitar 51,6% responden menyatakan ketidaksetujuan. Variabel kehandalan (reliability) tingkat persetujuan tinggi terhadap mantapan jalur evakuasi, variabel daya tanggap (responsibility) menunjukkan sebagian besar masyarakat kurang setuju terkait pemahaman terhadap peta evakuasi, minimnya rambu-rambu evakuasi, dan kurangnya informasi mengenai gedung evakuasi sementara. Meskipun variabel jaminan (assurance) mendapat tingkat persetujuan yang tinggi, variabel empati (empathy) mencerminkan kurangnya kepercayaan pada peran pemerintah dalam sosialisasi jalur evakuasi. Sedangkan kecamatan meureubo variabel bukti fisik (tangibility) menunjukkan penilaian positif 67,95%, menandakan bahwa kondisi fisik jalur evakuasi dianggap memadai. Pada variabel kehandalan (reliability) 64,6%, masyarakat memiliki keyakinan tinggi terhadap kemantapan jalur evakuasi. Namun, pada variabel daya tanggap (responsibility) dengan rata-rata 46,73%, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat belum melihat peta evakuasi, rambu-rambu evakuasi masih kurang, dan kurangnya informasi dari pemerintah mengenai gedung evakuasi sementara.Kata kunci : Jalur Evakuasi; Persepsi Masyarakat; Efektivitas Pelayanan

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) welding parameters on the remaining compressive capacity of angle-shaped steel members used for structural strengthening. The analysis focuses on members with thin hot-rolled profiles (40.4 x 40.4 x 4.0 mm, 50.5 x 50.5 x 5.0 mm, and 60.6 x 60.6 x 6.0 mm). A finite element model simulates the heat distribution caused by welding, leading to a temperature increase within the member. Welding scenarios are simulated using various combinations of current strength and welding speed based on the specifications for electrode type E6013. The remaining compressive capacity is determined by segmenting the cross-section based on temperature intervals and considering the member's slenderness. The analysis reveals a clear correlation between welding parameters and compressive capacity loss. Employing a higher current and lower welding speed leads to a more significant reduction in capacity due to the resulting extensive heat-affected zone (HAZ). Conversely, the lowest current and highest speed scenario minimizes the HAZ, resulting in the highest remaining compressive capacity. The analysis demonstrates that the 40.4 x 40.4 x 4.0 mm member can retain up to 51.15% of its original capacity under these optimal conditions, while the 50.5 x 50.5 x 5.0 mm and 60.6 x 60.6 x 6.0 mm members can retain 57.79% and 75.78%, respectively. In contrast, the worst-case scenario employing high current and low speed significantly reduces the remaining capacity, with reductions down to 6.79%, 10.87%, and 10.54% for the respective member sizes. These findings highlight the importance of optimizing welding parameters to minimize the negative impact on the compressive capacity of steel members during strengthening operations.

Abstract

Sungai Deli terletak di Kabupaten Karo dengan daerah aliran sungai seluas 472 km2 dan panjang 72km, mengalir melintasi Kota Medan Selat Malaka. Sungai Deli mengalami penyempitan atau pendangkalan sehingga menyebabkan kapasitas debit Sungai Deli tidak bisa menampung besarnya debit banjir yang diterima. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis Sungai Deli untuk pegendalian banjir, meliputi analisis hidrologi dengan berbagai metode probabilitas frekuensi, perencanaan debit banjir menggunakan HSS ITB-1 dan HSS Gamma-1.Pada analisis hidraulika menggunakan bantuan software HEC-RAS (Hydrolic Engineering Center River Analysis System) 6.1 dilakukan dari bagian hulu sungai hingga titik outlet banjir, dengan wilayah tangkapan air (catcment area) memiliki luas sekitar 250.01 km2 sepanjang 45km. Hasilnya, kapasitas sungai hanya dapat mengurangi debit banjir sekitar 10%, dengan waktu puncak aliran antara 4 hingga 5 jam. Pada penelitian ini, solusi yang diambil adalah membangun parapet atau tembok penggendali banjir. Tinggi jagaan atau freeboard pada pemodelan ini adalah 0.5 hingga 1meter (maksimum).

Abstract

Provinsi Lampung beribukota di Bandar Lampung. Ibukota ini mengalami pertumbuhan pesat dan menjadi magnet bagi masyarakat kota dan kabupaten sekitarnya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan transportasi umum dengan kualitas pelayanan yang efektif dan efisien untuk memudahkan mobilitas masyarakat antar kota/kabupaten di Provinsi Lampung. Pelayanan transportasi umum yang berkualitas merupakan kunci untuk menarik masyarakat beralih dari kendaraan pribadi ke transportasi umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelayanan AKDP berdasarkan ketersediaan fasilitas, kepuasan pengguna dan prioritas kinerja pelayanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada rute AKDP Terminal Rajabasa - Terminal Pringsewu. Pengumpulan data menggunakan survey lapangan dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 pengguna jasa dan 6 pakar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Customer Satisfaction Index dan Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian adalah tingkat ketersediaan fasilitas bus AKDP (62%), tingkat ketersediaan fasilitas Terminal Rajabasa (54,28%) dan tingkat ketersediaan fasilitas Terminal Pringsewu (40%). Analisis CSI menunjukkan 78,13% pengguna AKDP merasa puas terhadap pelayanan AKDP. Selanjutnya, analisis Fuzzy AHP mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor utama meliputi keselamatan, keamanan, pelayanan yang sigap dan tepat, kemudahan kendaraan untuk dijangkau serta kebersihan dan kerapihan menjadi faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam prioritas kinerja pelayanan AKDP. Kinerja pelayanan menjadi faktor terpenting dalam meningkatkan penggunaan AKDP dan dapat ditingkatkan dengan peningkatan fasilitas keselamatan dan keamanan di terminal dan bus.

Abstract

this study aims to analyze the volume of the storage capacity of the Bolon Paranginan Selatan storage as a solution to meet the water needs of both irrigation and raw water due to the increase in population and the need for food in Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency. The study was conducted in the Bolon Paranginan Selatan storage with the water source coming from rainfall that flows within the catchment area of the storage. The method approach is carried out quantitatively based on the simulation of the storage volume capacity between inflow and outflow. The research methodology is carried out by analyzing monthly rainfall, monthly dependable discharge with a probability of 80%, irrigation water demand discharge, population projections, raw water demand discharge, and numerical analytical simulation of storage capacity. The results showed the large volume of storage capacity of the Bolon Paranginan Selatan is 12.034,71 m3 with the height of 3 m from the bottom of the storage for the utilization of raw water needs of 6768 people and the potential area of irrigation area reaching 30,671 Ha with an increase in cropping patterns to twice the planting period.

Abstract

Kawasan hilir Embung Tambakboyo merupakan Daerah Irigasi Pulodadi yang menerima aliran air hanya dari limpasan pada bangunan pelimpah Embung Tambakboyo, sehingga hanya mengandalkan debit aliran air normal yang terjadi pada embung tersebut. Kondisi daerah irigasi tersebut cenderung mengalami kekurangan air sehingga perlu dilakukan kajian efektivitas Embung Tambakboyo terhadap penyediaan air irigasi di Daerah Irigasi Pulodadi dengan mengoptimalkan operasi embung. Parameter yang digunakan adalah neraca air dan simulasi operasi embung dengan metode standard operating rules (SOR). Neraca air membandingkan potensi debit aliran masuk (inflow) embung dengan debit kebutuhan air irigasi. Potensi inflow embung diperoleh secara empiris dengan alih ragam curah hujan menjadi debit aliran menggunakan metode F.J. Mock, sedangkan kebutuhan air irigasi dianalisis menggunakan pedoman KP-01 Perencanaan Jaringan Irigasi berdasarkan pola tata tanam eksisting dengan intensitas tanam 298%. Hasil analisis neraca air menyatakan terjadi surplus air pada bulan Januari sampai dengan tengah bulan Mei dan bulan November sampai dengan bulan Desember, sedangkan defisit air terjadi pada tengah bulan Mei sampai dengan bulan Oktober, sehingga perlu simulasi operasi embung yang dapat mengoptimalisasi neraca air. Hasil analisis simulasi operasi embung dengan metode standard operating rules (SOR) menyatakan masih terdapat kegagalan operasi pada beberapa periode dengan perolehan reliabilitas sebesar 75%, yang belum memenuhi kriteria minimal. Optimasi dilakukan sehingga diperoleh reliabilitas sebesar 96% dengan pola tata tanam yang dimodifikasi dengan intensitas tanam 283%
