Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of local government spending on infrastructure, education and health sectors on development inequality in Java and the Eastern Region. This research uses a quantitative approach, using panel data consisting of 18 provinces over a period of five years (2017-2021). The data analysis involves three main steps: (1) testing the model using the Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange multiplier test; (2) conducting classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests; and (3) performing hypothesis testing using t-test, F-test, and determination coefficient (R²) test. Research results shows that spending in the infrastructure sector has a negative impact on development gaps. Every 1% increase in local government spending on infrastructure can reduce the development gap by 1%. On the other hand, spending in the education sector has a positive and significant impact, where a 1% increase in spending will increase the development gap by 1%. Expenditures in the health sector do not have a significant impact on the development gap between Java Island and the Eastern Region.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the level of feasibility and practicality of Virtual Reality learning media in teaching and learning strategy courses on microteaching material. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The research subjects consisted of 1 material expert and 1 media expert as well as 10 6th semester students of the Office Administration Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a 1-5 Likert scale. Data analysis techniques were carried out using expert validation tests and practicality tests. Based on validation tests carried out by 1 material expert and 1 media expert, the average percentage result was 94.5%, which means the category was very feasible. Based on the results of practicality tests for small and large groups, an average percentage score of 95% was obtained in the very practical category. Therefore, the results of the research and development that have been carried out are declared very feasible and very practical and can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not there is a direct and indirect influence of flexible work arrangements on work-life balance and employee performance. A causality descriptive quantitative research design was used for this research. Employees of PT. Andalan Utama Foodindo are the population and sample of this research, with a total of 54 respondents using census techniques. Data were analyzed using path analysis using the SPSS program. The study's findings show that the variables have a positive relationship: a flexible work schedule has a regression coefficient of +0.310 on job performance. Additionally, work-life balance influences job performance with a regression coefficient of +0.626, and flexible working arrangements influence work-life balance with a regression coefficient of +0.647. Furthermore, with a mediation effect of 4.505, the research findings show that work-life balance acts as a mediating variable in the association between flexible working arrangements and job performance.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the influence of industrial work practice experience on work readiness among students in vocational high schools, with self-efficacy as a moderating factor. This study focuses on 11th-grade students from the administration, accounting, and business programs at SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat during the 2023/2024 academic year. A quantitative methodology is employed, and the research encompasses 176 students as the sample size. For sample selection, the technique used is proportional stratified random sampling. The distribution of questionnaires employing a likert scale was selected as the method for data collection. The SmartPLS 3.0 software facilitated the analysis, including evaluations of both the Outer and Inner Model. This research's results substantiate that industrial work practice experience has a favorable and substantial effect on work readiness. On the other hand, self-efficacy is a moderating factor, significantly diminishing the positive connection between industrial work practice experience and students' work readiness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of self-efficacy and learning independence simultaneously on learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative method with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires. The sampling technique used was Probability Sampling, and a sample of 104 students was obtained. The research location was at SMKN 22 Jakarta. The data analysis carried out is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing using the SPSS program. The significance test of the individual parameters of the self-efficacy variable obtained a sig. value of 0.004, and the learning independence variable obtained a value of 0.000, so it can be interpreted that there is an influence between self-efficacy and learning independence on learning outcomes partially. The results of the simultaneous test, in the Anova table obtained a significance value of 0.000. This means that the variables of self-efficacy and learning independence have a simultaneous effect on learning outcomes. This study has provided a practical contribution where students need to increase their self-confidence and independent attitude in learning, so that they are expected to obtain good learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of parental support and peer environment on student academic achievement, as well as to understand the mediating role of learning motivation in this relationship. This study uses a quantitative research approach. In the data collection process, researchers distributed questionnaires to respondents. In addition, secondary data used were the grade point average (GPA) of students of the Faculty of Economics class of 2020. Proportional random sampling technique was used, with a sample size of 217 people. Data were analyzed with the help of the SPSS 27 program. Parental support and the peer environment positively influence academic achievement and learning motivation. Parental support and a supportive peer environment significantly enhance students' learning motivation, which in turn improves academic performance. Learning motivation acts as a mediator between both parental support and peer influence, and academic achievement. Thus, strong parental support and a positive peer environment are crucial for boosting students' motivation and academic success.

Abstract

Investment growth by individual investors in Indonesia has experienced a rapid increase, dominated by 12.12 million individual investors, of which 56.43% are under 30 years old, indicating significant participation from Generation Z in investment activities. A rise in the quantity of investors is linked to external factors involving emotions such as overconfidence and regret aversion. The reason for this study is to look at how overconfidence and regret aversion impact investing decisions among Generation Z in Jakarta, and how this link is moderated by financial literacy. The research procedure employed a survey approach with quantitative analysis. The study generates use of both moderated regression analysis and multiple linear regression involving 348 individual investors. By processing data manoeuvring SPSS 26, the outcomes reveal a noteworthy positive partial bond between both overconfidence and regret aversion with investment decisions. Regarding the moderation variable, the impact of overconfidence on investing decisions is negatively arbitrated by financial literacy, whereas the bond between regret aversion and investing decisions is not diminshed by financial literacy. Therefore, investors should consider irrational attitudes such as overconfidence and regret aversion when making investment decisions and improve their financial literacy to overcome these irrational attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the influence of company size and financial report complexity on audit report lag, with the auditor's reputation variable as a moderator variable. This research is classified as quantitative. The population of the research consists of real estate and property firms that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), to test whether or not there is a role for moderating variables. This research shows that a company's size has a significant and adverse effect on how long it takes to provide audit reports. Furthermore, there is a noteworthy and positive correlation between the intricacy of financial reports and the latency of audit reports. Nonetheless, the impact of financial report complexity and firm size on audit report delay is unaffected by the auditors' reputation.
