Abstract

The study aims to systematically synthesize various empirical research findings on the implementation of Data-Based Planning (PBD) in schools as an effort to improve the quality of education. An Integrative Literature Review approach was used in the study by analyzing five scientific articles. Articles published in 2024-2025 that were relevant to the topic of PBD and the use of Education Reports were used as research data sources. A thematic analysis was conducted on four main aspects, namely the role of Education Reports as an identification tool, DBP implementation strategies, obstacles and challenges, and their impact on quality improvement. The synthesis results show that Education Reports serve as a diagnostic and reflective instrument to objectively identify quality issues. Effective PBD implementation involves collaboration between teachers, principals, and stakeholders in integrating data into school program planning. The main challenges faced include low data literacy and a weak culture of reflection in schools. Nevertheless, the application of PBD has been proven to improve teacher professionalism, strengthen a culture of reflection, and encourage continuous improvement of the school quality management system.

Abstract

The SMX School of Maker program under Sekolah Alam Bogor implements a Community-Based Learning (CBL) approach that emphasizes experiential learning and active engagement with the community. However, collaboration between the school and community partners in designing CBL programs has not yet been fully optimized. This study aims to examine the implementation of CBL at SMX, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and evaluate its impact on students’ interests and talents. Using a qualitative case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants included the Foundation Chair, the Director of Sekolah Alam, the Chair of the Nusantara Sekolah Alam Network, teachers or facilitators, students, and community representatives. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The findings reveal that CBL implementation involves several stages: collaborative curriculum development with community partners; preparation of 80% of the syllabus through inter-community contributions; structured academic planning through salamik and early-year coordination; direct integration of facilitators and community members in learning activities; and experience- and project-based learning as the instructional core. Supporting factors include SAB’s vision, mission, pillars, and active stakeholder involvement. Nevertheless, rigid adherence to these foundational principles may also pose challenges. Integrating Project-Based Learning (PjBL) further strengthens CBL in enhancing students’ interests and talents.

Abstract

This study investigates how self-efficacy and job satisfaction shape work engagement among junior high school teachers in Bandung, Indonesia. A quantitative explanatory design was applied, collecting survey data from 401 teachers selected through stratified random sampling. Self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and engagement were measured with standardized scales and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (AMOS 26). Confirmatory factor analysis supported the adequacy of the measurement model, indicating acceptable convergent validity and composite reliability (AVE > 0.50; CR > 0.80). The structural model showed an acceptable fit (χ²/df = 2.14; CFI = 0.946; TLI = 0.938; RMSEA = 0.052). Hypothesis testing revealed that self-efficacy had a significant positive effect on work engagement (β = 0.41; p < 0.001), while job satisfaction exerted a stronger positive effect (β = 0.48; p < 0.001). Together, both predictors explained 61% of the variance in work engagement (R² = 0.61). In addition, job satisfaction partially mediated the association between self-efficacy and engagement (β = 0.19; p < 0.01), suggesting that confident teachers are more engaged partly because they feel more satisfied with their jobs. Overall, the findings highlight the value of strengthening personal and organizational resources to foster energetic, dedicated, and resilient teachers in demanding school contexts.

Abstract

The development of digital media-based learning requires the selection of platforms that are not only easy to use, but also capable of supporting interactivity, collaboration, and providing a real impact on learning outcomes. However, the selection of digital learning media in schools is often not based on systematic and measurable decision analysis. This condition creates a need for objective evaluation of the effectiveness of digital media used in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Figma as a digital learning medium at Saengsattha School in Thailand. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire involving 100 respondents, consisting of 10 teachers and 90 students. Data analysis was performed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the weight of importance of four main criteria, namely ease of use, interactivity, collaboration, and impact on learning outcomes and user satisfaction. The results showed that Figma obtained a final score of 4.06 and was categorized as effective, with the criteria of impact and user satisfaction as the most dominant factors. These findings indicate that Figma is suitable for use as a digital learning medium and that AHP can be a systematic method to support decision-making in selecting digital learning media in schools.
