Abstract

This study indicates that the quality of learning in Indonesia has not met expectations, impacting student achievement, which remains less satisfactory, especially compared to other countries. One contributing factor is the low level of teacher professionalism, particularly in early childhood education institutions. This study aims to analyze the effect of collaboration and cooperation in the professional development of early childhood teachers. The method used is descriptive qualitative, where data is collected without limited categories, allowing researchers to explore specific issues in depth relevant to the research objectives. This study is categorized as library research, where researchers analyze several relevant articles and collect data for further analysis. The results show that collaboration and cooperation significantly influence the development of teacher professionalism. Enhancing teacher professionalism must be carried out continuously in line with developments in science, technology, and society. This approach can be implemented through collaboration techniques, fostering a learning organizational culture, and training activities, both individually and in groups, to improve overall institutional performance.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role and impact of the application of information and communication technology (ICT) in Islamic religious education, particularly in improving the learning process and learner engagement. Along with the rapid development of ICT, the importance of ICT integration in Islamic religious education is increasing. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach, where data is obtained from various scientific literature and relevant academic references. The results show that the application of ICT provides significant benefits, such as increased learning interactivity and wider accessibility of materials. However, challenges are also faced, especially related to the ethical use of ICT and the compatibility of its application with the principles of Islamic law. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of developing an Islamic religious education curriculum that integrates ICT in a balanced manner, taking into account religious values. The integration of ICT in Islamic religious education needs to be accompanied by appropriate supervision in order to maximize its effectiveness.

Abstract

Inclusive education aims to ensure that all children, including people with disabilities, receive a proper education in formal schools. However, challenges often arise if parents and teachers do not understand the needs of children with disabilities. This article examines the Qur'an's view of inclusive education and how its principles can help build the interpersonal intelligence of people with disabilities. With  the tafsîr maudu'î ala al-Farmawi method, this study found that the Qur'an emphasizes the importance of diversity and mutual respect. The concepts of spiritual, emotional, and social intelligence in the Qur'an support the development of positive and inclusive interactions. The Qur'an teaches that glory in the sight of Allah is determined by obedience and attitude, not physical aspects. Principles such as brotherhood (ukhuwwah), compassion (shilah al-rahim), good communication (qaulan sadîd?), and forgiveness (al-'afw) play a role in creating an inclusive educational environment. This research shows how the application of these principles can improve the understanding and integration of people with disabilities in education, as well as promote a more empathetic and supportive environment.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed educational paradigms, including strategies to enhance students' learning motivation. However, the effectiveness of digital learning largely depends on environmental support, particularly parental involvement. This study aims to explore how the integration of parenting styles and digital learning innovations contributes to students' learning motivation in Madrasah Aliyah. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method involving in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that authoritative parenting fosters disciplined learning habits and optimal utilization of digital technology, whereas permissive parenting often leads to student distraction by digital entertainment. Furthermore, interactive digital learning media, such as YouTube and quiz applications, prove more effective in engaging students and enhancing comprehension than conventional learning methods. However, technological access limitations and insufficient digital literacy among parents and educators remain significant barriers to implementing digital-based learning. Therefore, synergy among families, schools, and educational policies is essential in creating an inclusive and technology-oriented learning ecosystem. The implications of this study highlight the necessity of improving digital literacy for parents and teachers and enhancing technological infrastructure to support the effectiveness of digital learning.

Abstract

Hadith serves as an interpretation of the Qur'an in Islamic education, providing a conceptual basis for learning methods that are oriented towards moral and spiritual values. This study aims to analyze Imam Al-Ghazali's learning concept in the perspective of hadith Tarbawi and its implementation at the Al-Azhary College of Islam (STAI) Cianjur. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, collecting and analyzing various literature related to Al-Ghazali's educational concepts and relevant hadith. The results showed that Imam Al-Ghazali developed the concept of learning based on the uswah hasanah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, with an emphasis on morals, the pursuit of knowledge as worship, and gradual learning according to the intellectual capacity of students. In his curriculum, Al-Ghazali emphasized moral-based education and a spiritual approach to get closer to Allah SWT. The implication of this research shows that Al-Ghazali's concept of education is still relevant to modern learning systems, especially in Islamic educational institutions. The integration of these values can strengthen students' academic and spiritual foundations, producing graduates who are not only knowledgeable but also have a strong moral character.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the implementation of the Management Information System (MIS) at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Wathoniyah 5 East Jakarta in enhancing academic performance and school management. The research is grounded in the school's need to improve efficiency and transparency through digitalization since the MIS was introduced in 2020. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The key findings indicate that MIS has successfully improved efficiency in administrative management, strengthened transparency in financial and academic data management, and facilitated communication between the school, students, and parents. Technical challenges, such as suboptimal infrastructure, were addressed through collaboration with service providers and staff training. The implications of this study highlight the significant role of MIS in supporting the modernization and digitalization of the education system at the madrasah, while also revealing opportunities for further development to enhance educational quality.

Abstract

The implementation of E-learning in Islamic higher education institutions presents unique challenges that require thorough investigation. This study explores the implementation of E-learning at Universitas Islam Nusantara (UNINUS) Bandung, focusing on its effectiveness, challenges, and integration with Islamic educational values. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that UNINUS has successfully implemented an E-learning model, positively impacting student academic quality and administrative efficiency. Three key factors contribute to its success: the development of comprehensive digital infrastructure, digital competency training for educators and students, and the integration of Islamic values in digital learning. However, challenges persist, such as improving the reliability of technical infrastructure and addressing varying levels of digital literacy among faculty and students. Additionally, resistance from some lecturers, due to limited technological skills and the need for further training, remains a significant obstacle. This study enriches the discourse on digital transformation in Islamic higher education and offers practical insights for other Islamic institutions aiming to adopt E-learning systems. It concludes that the successful implementation of E-learning in Islamic educational institutions requires a balanced approach that preserves traditional values while embracing technological advancements to enhance learning quality.

Abstract

The rapid pace of social and cultural change demands that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curricula be more adaptive to students’ local contexts. This study aims to analyze the sociocultural foundation in developing the Al-Qur'an Hadith curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Employing a qualitative approach through a structured literature review, data were sourced from relevant primary and secondary references published within the last five years. Designed to explore the conceptual framework for integrating sociocultural values into PAI curriculum development, the study reveals that strengthening local values—such as tolerance, respect for traditions, and positive social character building—constitutes a crucial component of Al-Qur'an Hadith learning. A curriculum rooted in sociocultural values not only enhances the relevance of educational content to students’ daily lives but also promotes contextual internalization of Islamic teachings. These findings imply the need for a more reflective curriculum approach that aligns with societal dynamics and serve as a conceptual basis for developing responsive and transformative Islamic education curricula in madrasahs.

Abstract

The use of information technology in education management is becoming increasingly important to improve efficiency and transparency in school management. This research aims to explore the implementation of Google Spreadsheet as a management information system at Al Kenzie Elementary School and analyze its impact on administrative effectiveness and parental involvement in learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed thematically. The results showed that Google Spreadsheet plays a role in improving the efficiency of recording and reporting academic data and school administration. However, the research also found the main obstacles in the implementation of this technology, namely the limited competence of human resources and the lack of policy support. The implications of this study emphasize the need for training strategies for education personnel as well as the development of more comprehensive technology adaptation policies in educational institutions. The findings contribute to the literature on digitalization in education, particularly in Islamic-based schools, and provide insights for policy makers in designing innovative strategies to improve the quality of education management.

Abstract

This research explores the challenges and opportunities in implementing Management Information Systems (MIS) in Islamic Education Institutions.  Management Information Systems plays an important role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of resource management, while strengthening the trust of various related parties. This study uses the literature review method by analyzing relevant literature, journals and case studies. The results show that the implementation of SIM can facilitate access to information, improve reporting regularity, and strengthen academic and administrative monitoring and evaluation. However, the implementation faces several obstacles, such as lack of understanding of technology, limited resources, resistance to change, and data security issues. To overcome these challenges, a holistic approach is needed through technology training, effective change management, and strengthening data security policies. In addition, increased understanding and support from policy makers are also key factors in successful SIM implementation. With the right strategy, SIM can be optimally utilized to improve the quality of education management in Islamic Education Institutions.
