Abstract

In the context of social media platforms, it is important for MSMEs to differentiate themselves in order to attract the attention of potential customers. This study uses the Viral Marketing Value Effect Model to examine the role of social media platforms in customer relationship performance. Data from 219 culinary MSMEs in Central Java shows that social media influencers and characteristics have an effect on customer relationship performance, while social media influencers do not. The study also explores how viral marketing value moderates the relationship between social media influencers and social media characteristics on customer relationships. The findings provide insights that extend the Service Dominant Logic (SDL) theory to social media marketing literacy in MSMEs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the need for the development of geophysics learning media in universities, especially in the context of relevance to technological developments and environmental issues. The method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through observation and distribution of questionnaires to lecturers and students at two universities that hold geophysics courses. The results of the study show that learning outcomes at both campuses still focus on basic competencies, such as understanding geophysical concepts, practicum skills, and field data analysis. However, new competencies related to the application of technology such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and big data have not been explicitly accommodated. In terms of learning media, the use of reference books dominated (40%), followed by presentation slides (27%), learning videos (20%), and teaching aids (13%), which showed the tendency to use conventional media. In addition, the integration of geophysics learning materials with environmental issues is still low, with only 33% integrated and 67% not integrated. These findings show the need for the development of geophysics learning media that is more interactive, contextual, and adaptive to technological developments and global challenges. This research provides an important basis for curriculum innovation and the development of learning media that support 21st century learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of self-acceptance in adolescent girls who have stepmothers, using an interpretive phenomenological approach. The main focus of this study is to explore the subjective experiences of adolescent girls in building self-acceptance in the context of their relationships with their stepmothers. The data collection technique used interviews with five research subjects. The data analysis technique in this study used the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach with the help of the Nvivo Version 12 program. The results of the study indicate that self-acceptance in adolescent girls with stepmothers is influenced by various factors, including the dynamics of interpersonal relationships with stepmothers, the role of emotional support from the family, and the adolescent's personal experiences related to self-identity and feelings of being accepted in the family. This self- acceptance is influenced by how adolescent girls relate to their stepmothers, as well as how they accept changes in their family structure. Adolescent girls may feel threatened or unaccepted, especially if their relationship with their biological mother was previously very strong. The mismatch between the real self and the ideal self, especially if they feel they have to adjust to the expectations or standards of their stepmother, can affect their self-acceptance.

Abstract

This study analyzed the regulations regarding the protection of foreign famous brands in Indonesia and the implementation of these regulations. This study used a normative legal research design by describing the reality and then compared it with applicable regulations or existing legal theories to answer the problem. The case analyzed in this study is the brand dispute between J Casanova and Irawan Gunawan as the owner of the Casanova brand. From the results of the study it was found that until now there has been no definite definition of famous brand in Indonesia. This is exacerbated by the weak legal structure in Indonesia, which causes the legal process regarding cases related to the brand to not be fulfilled with justice, usefulness and legal certainty. As in this case, there is confusion in determining what can cause a brand to be called a famous brand, and what kind of case is referred to as a famous brand impersonation. Law enforcers appear to be still weak in deciding whether the brand to be registered has an element of equality in principle with respect to famous brand that have been previously registered or not.

Abstract

Environmental concerns have become increasingly prominent, as numerous phenomena underscore the critical relationship between human sustainability and environmental preservation. This awareness has extended into the business sector, where consumers now expect companies to implement environmentally responsible strategies, especially amid growing health and ecological concerns. This study investigates the impact of transforming Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practices on the environmental performance of culinary and fashion MSMEs in Semarang City. Using purposive sampling, data were collected from 100 respondents representing local MSMEs. The research employed two analytical approaches within the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) framework: Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Regression Weight Analysis. The findings reveal that the implementation of GSCM positively influences environmental performance and contributes to the long-term sustainability of MSME operations. This study offers practical implications for local MSMEs to integrate green practices into their supply chains while enhancing business continuity. Furthermore, the results provide valuable insights for local government authorities to develop supportive policies and programs that encourage sustainable business practices. Overall, this research highlights the strategic importance of GSCM as a tool for improving environmental performance and maintaining competitiveness in a globalized economy.

Abstract

Techno-Entrepreneurial Relationship Marketing (TERM) has emerged as a critical framework for enhancing the competitiveness of student entrepreneurs in Central Java. This study explores how TERM, which integrates digital technology and relationship marketing, can improve marketing performance and foster long-term competitive advantage. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research surveyed 150 student entrepreneurs across 35 districts in Central Java, assessing the impact of Information Technology Adoption, Entrepreneurial Orientation, and Interaction Proactiveness on Marketing Performance. The findings indicate that TERM significantly enhances marketing performance by enabling proactive customer engagement, rapid responsiveness, and data-driven decision-making. The integration of digital tools such as social media platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics was found to be crucial for improving customer loyalty and market positioning. The study concludes that educational institutions should incorporate TERM into their entrepreneurship curricula to better prepare students for the challenges of digital markets. This approach not only supports the development of entrepreneurial skills but also strengthens the overall competitiveness of student-led businesses, positioning them for long-term success in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Abstract

Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) is one of Indonesia's leading fishery commodities with a high export value. However, the high demand and the use of destructive fishing gear have caused a decline in rajungan stocks in various location in Java sea including the East coast of Lampung. This condition impacts the sus-tainability of the livelihoods of rajungan fishers. This study describes the sustainable fishery empowerment strategies for rajungan fishers by the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) through a qualitative approach presented descriptively. Data were collected through observation, document studies, in-depth interviews with 16 informants, and focus group discussions. The results show that EDF's empowerment strategies for fishers in Margasari Village include involving them in policy development and planning in drafting sustainable rajungan management action plans and establishing conservation areas; encouraging social and political actions by strengthening rajungan fisher groups in Margasari Village and conducting communi-ty-based monitoring to protect rajungan conservation zones; as well as raising awareness about the im-portance of sustainable rajungan management and providing training such as data collection, fishery product processing, and citizen journalism. The study suggests that EDF should involve the industry in sustainable fishery empowerment strategies to support the protection of rajungan conservation areas.
