Abstract

Unregistered marriage (pernikahan siri) is a complex social phenomenon in Indonesia, influenced by religious norms, cultural traditions, and legal policies. Although Indonesia’s Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974 mandates the official registration of marriages, pernikahan siri continues to be practiced for various reasons, including economic and administrative factors. This study aims to analyze the social construction of pernikahan siri using a bibliometric approach with VOSviewer. By applying the PRISMA protocol, this research identifies research trends, collaboration networks, and dominant themes in the relevant literature. Out of 63 articles retrieved from Google Scholar (2016–2024), 25 relevant articles were analyzed in depth. The findings reveal that pernikahan siri is predominantly studied in the context of marriage law (31%), Islamic law (21%), and women's rights (8%). Furthermore, the study highlights that inconsistencies in legal policies and the lack of sanctions for offenders contribute to the persistence of pernikahan siri in society. By examining the social construction of pernikahan siri from legal and societal perspectives, this research contributes to identifying research gaps and informing more effective policy directions.

Abstract

Parenting is a multifaceted journey filled with joys, challenges, and responsibilities that significantly affect the well-being of both parents and children. Studies that investigated parenting styles have used different predictors with results giving varied results. This study examines the predictability of perceived parental stress and emotional intelligence on parenting styles among married couples in Ibadan, Nigeria. Cross-sectional survey design was adopted while purposive sampling technique was used to select the study population. Data were collected from 393 participants using validated questionnaires and analyzed using t-test of independent samples and multiple regressions. Two hypotheses were tested and accepted at p <.05 level of significance. The results revealed that perceived parental stress and emotional intelligence jointly predicted parenting styles [R2=.06, F(5,392)= 4.58, p <.05]. In addition, the result indicated that regulation of emotional appraisal (β = 15, t = 2.45, p <.05) and use of emotion (β =.15, t = 2.58, p <.05) dimensions of emotional intelligence independently predicted parenting styles. Finally, gender significantly influenced parenting styles [t(391)= 2.11, p <.05] such that male participants reported higher perceived parenting styles (M= 91.37, SD = 22.49) compared to their female counterparts (M = 87.22, SD= 16.29). The study concluded that perceived parental stress and emotional intelligence are strong predictors of parenting styles among study participants. It is recommended that stress management programs should be put in place to help parents reduce stress levels to improve their ability to provide better parenting care to their children.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that many students still have difficulties in mastering mathematical logic, one of which is caused by conventional learning methods that are theoretical and do not involve practical activities. This condition is supported by the low initial test results in the discrete mathematics course, where almost 50% of students show difficulty in solving mathematical logic problems. This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on the learning outcomes of mathematical logic in students. The method used in the research is pre-experiment with one group pretest-postest design. The research subjects were 69 students majoring in informatics engineering in Jakarta. The instruments used were math logic pretest and posttest. The results showed that the application of Project-Based Learning affected the learning outcomes of mathematical logic. This can be seen from the increased percentage (P) which is 72.95% (pretest) and 86.84% (posttest). The results of statistical hypothesis testing with the Wilcoxon test obtained a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 which means that there is an increase in students' mathematical logic learning outcomes. PjBL has a significant effect on students' math logic learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an internship model based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum tailored to the needs of higher education institutions. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the INOBEL (Integrative Outcome-Based Education for Learning Outcomes) development model, which includes stages such as needs exploration, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. INOBEL was reconstructed from established models such as Borg and Gall, ADDIE, 4D, Dick and Carey, and DBR. The subjects involved in this study included students, academic supervisors, and industry partners. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the OBE-based internship model met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness in enhancing students' soft skills and hard skills. It also fostered collaboration between universities and industries, producing tangible outputs such as internship reports, scientific journals, or products eligible for intellectual property rights (HaKI). The study recommends disseminating the model among academic supervisors and implementing it more broadly within higher education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Anida's Tari Pattennung as a medium for developing various aspects of intelligence in elementary school children at SD Negeri 11 Pangsid. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research explores the impact of Tari Pattennung on the development of kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal intelligences, as well as cultural awareness among students. The findings show that through Tari Pattennung, students not only develop physical skills and motor coordination (kinesthetic) but also enhance their sensitivity to traditional music (musical), improve their ability to collaborate in groups (interpersonal), and build self-confidence and emotional expression (intrapersonal). Furthermore, students demonstrate a greater interest in the history and cultural significance of the Bugis culture, particularly in relation to the fabric weaving process, which is an integral part of the dance. This activity helps to foster a strong cultural awareness in children, introducing them to the richness of local culture that needs to be appreciated and preserved. This study recommends that traditional dance arts, such as Tari Pattennung, be more widely integrated into elementary education to support the development of multiple intelligences and the preservation of cultural heritage among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of promotion in increasing the competitiveness of biofloc tilapia fish farming business at F16_AQUACULTURE located in Makassar City. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection methods through in-depth interviews and direct observation of business managers and employees. The results of the study indicate that the strategies implemented so far have focused more on product optimization and pricing, but there has been no planned and systematic promotion implementation. This has limited market reach and the absence of partnerships for large-scale product distribution. In today's digital era, promotion through social media and other digital platforms provides a huge opportunity to reach a wider consumer base. Promotional strategies such as collaboration with influencers, providing seasonal discounts, loyalty programs, and creating attractive promotional content are considered to be able to increase brand awareness and drive sales. Therefore, the implementation of a more adaptive and innovative promotional strategy is needed to strengthen the competitiveness and expand the F16_AQUACULTURE market amidst increasingly fierce competition.
