Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the effect of implementing teacher skills using teaching variations on improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 175758 Hutagurgur in the Indonesian language subject. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 175758 Hutagurgur in the even semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The type of research used was experimental research with a pre-experimental research design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study involved one sample group, namely the fifth-grade class, consisting of 30 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, tests, and documentation. The instrument used in this study was a multiple-choice test to measure student learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate a significant and positive effect between the implementation of teaching variation skills before and after the implementation of teaching variation skills in improving fifth-grade students' Indonesian language learning outcomes. This is evident from the results of the hypothesis test, which obtained a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of α = 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that teachers' teaching variation skills have an effect on improving fifth-grade students' Indonesian language learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role and effectiveness of the Pentahelix collaboration (Government, Academics, Business, Community, and Media) in the development of Meat Tourism Village, located in Tampahan Subdistrict, Toba Regency. Meat Tourism Village holds great potential in natural tourism, cultural heritage, and local products, but the sustainability of its development heavily depends on the synergy among stakeholders. A qualitative research method using field interviews was employed to identify the internal and external participation of the Pentahelix actors. The results of the IFAS and EFAS analysis place Meat Tourism Village in Quadrant I of the SWOT matrix, indicating an aggressive position where strengths and opportunities significantly outweigh weaknesses and threats. The active participation of the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) and strong support from PT. INALUM are key strengths, while its inclusion in the Top 100 ADWI and central government support represent major opportunities. However, limited government budget and the threat of policy changes pose notable challenges. Therefore, the most appropriate development strategy is an aggressive strategy, which involves maximizing the full potential and collaboration of the Pentahelix stakeholders to promote comprehensive, sustainable, and community-based tourism village growth. Recommendations include establishing a regular Pentahelix coordination forum, improving the capacity of Pokdarwis and local communities through integrated training (hospitality, digital marketing, MSME management), and strengthening long-term collaboration with the education sector and businesses through MoUs and CSR programs. In addition, the Village Government and the Tourism Office should develop internal regulations and annual work plans that involve all Pentahelix elements as the foundation for the development of Meat Tourism Village. The implementation of this aggressive strategy will optimize the recognition from ADWI, the potential of MSMEs, and the trend of ecotourism to strengthen the position of Meat Tourism Village as a leading and sustainable tourist destination.

Abstract

This study analyzes stakeholder collaboration, challenges, and strategies for sustainable tourism development in Tanjung Rejo Tourism Village, Deli Serdang Regency. A qualitative descriptive method was applied, using observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis employed SWOT, along with IFAS and EFAS matrices. The findings show cooperation among the village government, community groups (Pokdarwis, Karang Taruna), academics, and the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in training, infrastructure development, and environmental conservation. However, community participation is low, private sector involvement is limited, and infrastructure remains inadequate. IFAS analysis scored strengths at 1.86 and weaknesses at 0.62 (difference 1.24), while EFAS scored opportunities at 1.72 and threats at 0.70 (difference 1.02). The village’s strategic position lies in Quadrant I (Growth Strategy), with recommendations for active development through enhancing attractions, improving infrastructure, strengthening branding, and fostering external partnerships.
