Abstract

The First National Congress (MUNAS) of the Indonesian Civil Servant Lecturers Alliance under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (ADAKSI), held on May 2–4, 2025, in Jakarta, served as a pivotal moment for the consolidation and advocacy of civil servant lecturers at the national level. This event successfully formulated the organization’s strategic direction, ratified its Statutes and Bylaws (AD/ART), and developed a medium-term work plan for 2025–2028. The inaugural MUNAS of ADAKSI also produced twenty strategic policy recommendations to the government, particularly concerning the welfare and professionalism of civil servant lecturers. In addition to electing the national executive board, the congress affirmed ADAKSI’s role as both a strategic partner and a critical counterpart to the government in higher education reform. This article not only outlines the key outcomes of the congress but also examines the contributions and impact of strengthening the institutional position of ministerial civil servant lecturers within the national education ecosystem.

Abstract

Creativity in early childhood is a crucial foundation for children’s cognitive and social development. This article examines how various play activities can serve as effective media to build creativity in early childhood. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group involving children aged 4–6 years in early childhood education settings. The results show that constructive play, role-playing, and outdoor play activities significantly enhance children’s creative abilities. Furthermore, the role of the environment and adult support positively influences creativity development. These findings highlight the importance of providing meaningful play activities and a conducive environment to maximize children’s creative potential from an early age. Practical implications for educators and parents are also discussed as efforts to improve the quality of early childhood education.

The phenomenon found by the servants in the field was complaints from village officials regarding the failure of village programs to run according to expectations because assistance had been provided to the community. The lecture and discussion method of this activity was carried out in one core program activity carried out at the Oluhuta village office in October 2022 which was carried out face-to-face and there was direct interaction with participants, namely Individual Taxpayers (WP OP) of the Oluhuta village community after students conducted field observations related to the data needed before the implementation of the core activity. Door to Door Assistance Method: This method is carried out by students after participants receive material related to the socialization of the importance of PBB-P2 tax compliance. This activity is carried out for one week after the core activity. The results of this community service activity are that the government is expected to involve the private sector in conducting in-depth studies on sources of local revenue, including how to manage them by involving research and assessment institutions and collaborating with universities to carry out activities for village communities.

Abstract

This community service program aims to implement the concept of Sustainable Islamic Education through the utilization of kitchen waste into ecoenzyme-based soap at Sulaimaniyah Islamic Boarding School in Waru, Surabaya. The primary issues addressed include the lack of proper organic waste management in pesantren environments, low ecological awareness, and limited entrepreneurial skills among students (santri). The program was carried out using participatory and educational approaches, involving university students, santri, teachers (ustadz), and the surrounding community. Activities included training on ecoenzyme production, natural soap making, Islamic-based environmental education, and the formation of an environmentally conscious student community. The results showed significant improvements in technical skills, environmental awareness, and social collaboration. The soap products created have the potential to be developed into a student-run micro-enterprise based on circular economy principles. This initiative not only offers an ecological solution to waste problems but also strengthens the role of pesantren in nurturing economically empowered and environmentally conscious change agents. The program is expected to serve as a transformative education model that can be replicated in other Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance nutritional awareness and increase milkfish consumption through the innovation of a traditional dish, pepes ikan bandeng, in RT 31, Sebengkok Subdistrict, Tarakan City. Although milkfish is rich in nutrients such as protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals, its consumption remains low due to the presence of numerous fine bones. The program adopted a hands-on approach involving community members in every step of the process, including ingredient preparation, cooking, and product distribution. The results demonstrated that pepes ikan bandeng, traditionally seasoned and wrapped in banana leaves, not only offers a unique and appetizing flavor but also retains its nutritional value. This activity successfully educated the community on the benefits of consuming nutritious local fish while preserving traditional culinary heritage as a means of community empowerment.

Abstract

Purirano Subdistrict is a coastal area in Kendari City with a strong connection to the sea in terms of social, economic, and daily community activities. Along with the increasing domestic activities and utilization of coastal areas, the issue of marine debris has begun to emerge, potentially disrupting ecosystems and environmental comfort. This community service activity aims to educate coastal residents about the importance of maintaining marine cleanliness through visual media such as posters and billboards. Posters were distributed directly to residents’ homes, while billboards were installed in strategic locations to be visible to the broader community. The results of the activity indicate that visual media can effectively attract public attention and deliver educational messages. The distributed posters received positive responses from residents, while the billboards served as strong visual reminders in daily life. This method is considered efficient in raising awareness without requiring intensive direct interaction. This activity is expected to serve as an initial step toward behavioral change among coastal communities in protecting the marine environment sustainably.
