Abstract

Mualaf often face internal problems, such as confusion in identity change and feelings of isolation from the social environment, as well as external problems, such as lack of support from family and the surrounding community. So this research aims to find out the Efforts of Mualaf Development in Improving Islamic Understanding in Nggerukopa Hamlet, Palama Village, Donggo District, Bima Regency. This research will be conducted in Nggerukopa Hamlet, Palama Village, Donggo Subdistrict, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. This research uses Qualitative Research with a Case Study Approach. Data Collection Techniques are Observation, Interview and Documentation. Data Analysis Techniques are Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the efforts of coaching converts in Nggerukopa Hamlet have been carried out quite well and structured. This coaching is focused on increasing Islamic understanding through activities such as routine recitation, individual coaching, and guidance on worship and morals

Abstract

In the Arabic language learning process, students still tend to sit listening, imitating, taking notes, and doing assignments in books only. There are some students who are still lacking in mastery of Arabic vocabulary because of the difficulty of memorizing and when the learning takes place, they pay less attention to the lessons presented, so that many chat by themselves with this, because students feel bored to take lessons because the learning system applied is still conventional. So in this study aims to describe the improvement of Mastery of Arabic Mufradat with the use of Guess the Word Game in class XI-A at MA Darul Hikmah Soncolela, Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara. The form of research is Classroom Action Research. The research place took place at MA Darul Hikmah Soncolela, the research subjects were class XI-A students totaling 20 students. The data collection techniques used are observation techniques, questionnaires, and documentation. The tools used are Questionnaire sheets, Observation sheets and students' Mufradat Mastery. Data analysis used is validity test, reliability test and descriptive statistics. This research was conducted in 2 cycles with the final results of the research obtained, namely in cycle I worth an average of 7.05. In cycle II, the average value is 7.45. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' Mastery of Arabic Mufradat with the use of Word Guess Games.

Abstract

This article aims to critically examine the intervention of political policies in the process of reconstructing the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in Indonesia, by highlighting how the dynamics of political power play a role in shaping the direction and content of the curriculum. This study uses a literature study method, by examining various secondary sources such as education policy documents, PAI curricula from time to time, academic journals, and literature relevant to the relationship between politics and education. The results of the study show that changes in the PAI curriculum are often inseparable from the influence of practical politics, where the ideological agenda of power influences the content of values, teaching materials, and pedagogical approaches used. In this context, the PAI curriculum tends to be a tool for legitimizing power, not merely as a means of developing the character and spirituality of students. The novelty of this study lies in the critical review approach used to examine the curriculum as a socio-political product, not only as an academic construction. In addition, this article contributes by offering a contextual approach in developing the PAI curriculum that is more responsive to the needs of the times, upholds the values ??of Islam rahmatan lil 'alamin, and emphasizes the importance of the involvement of educational actors who are independent of political interests in the process of formulating the curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the genealogy of thought and the process of forming the Dhuha Prayer tradition in the Islamic boarding school, identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation, and reveal the advantages obtained by students from this routine practice. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with educators, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions systematically. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Dhuha Prayer at the Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Mataram has been institutionalized as a sustainable religious culture. This tradition is led by the caretaker of the Islamic boarding school as an authoritative figure who transmits Islamic values ??through a living hadith approach. Supported by the Islamic boarding school norm system, internal motivation of students, and supporting facilities, this practice has proven effective in shaping the religious character of students. Obstacles remain, such as environmental influences and low awareness of some students, but do not hinder the essence of spiritual transformation achieved through the habituation of this worship.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and revitalize the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers as agents of peace in responding to increasing social polarization in Indonesian society. Using the literature review method, this study analyzes various relevant literature sources, ranging from peace theory, multicultural education, to the practice of religious moderation in the context of education. The results of the study indicate that PAI teachers have a strategic position in shaping the character of inclusive and tolerant students, but this role has not been optimized systematically in the curriculum or teacher professional training. The novelty of this study lies in the concrete mapping of the role of PAI teachers in five strategic domains: curriculum, school culture, role models, interfaith communication, and collaboration with the community. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of reformulating the PAI curriculum that is oriented towards peace values ??and strengthening teacher capacity through training that is integrated with the principle of religious moderation. This study is expected to be a contribution to the development of religious education that is adaptive to contemporary socio-cultural challenges

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic education development at MIN 2 Pringsewu and MI Miftahul Iman, two rural-based Islamic schools that have successfully demonstrated significant educational quality despite limited resources. The research adopts a qualitative case study approach, with data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that both educational institutions apply the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) management principles, focusing on careful planning, efficient resource organization, inclusive implementation involving all community members, and strict monitoring of existing programs. Furthermore, the development of human resources, strengthening religious values, and the implementation of flagship programs such as the Tahfidz al-Qur'an program are key priorities in enhancing educational quality. Despite facing challenges such as limited facilities, infrastructure, and funding, the active involvement of school leadership, teachers, and the community plays a crucial role in creating innovations and adapting educational programs. This study concludes that adaptive management based on Islamic values, which is responsive to local conditions, can improve the quality of Islamic education in rural areas. The implications of this finding suggest the need for the development of a more integrated and community-based model of Islamic education management to maximize the potential available in rural settings.

Abstract

Sebuah lembaga pendidikan hendaknya mengenalkan dan menanamkan tauhid atau akidah kepada peserta didik sebagai pondasi awal sebelum peserta didik mengenal banyaknya disiplin ilmu lainnya. Dengan begitu para guru umunya dan guru pendidikan agama Islam khususnya untuk berupaya menciptakan budaya religius dan meningkatkan potensi religius guna membentuk kepribadian peserta didik menjadi manusia yang beriman, bertaqwa dan berakhlak. Pertanyaan dan tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses implementasi pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius di lingkungan sekolah SD Negeri 14 Lahat dan pembelajaran intrakurikuler yang dilakukan guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius di SD Negeri 14 Lahat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dipilih secara purposive dan bersifat snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Implementasi pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius di lingkungan SD Negeri 14 Lahat dilakukan dengan baik dan efektif dengan diterapkannya dalam kegiatan keseharian seperti membiasakan mengucapkan salam, berjabat tangan, santun dalam berbicara, sopan dalam bersikap, dan saling menghormati baik dengan guru maupun sesama teman. Kemudian terkait program-program dalam kurikulum khusus mengenai keagamaan, seperti diadakannya Rabu Mengaji, kemudian sholat dhuhur berjamaah, kemudian adanya pembinaan bakat seperti, infaq dan juga menghafalkan surat-surat pilihan dalam Al-Qur’an, kemudian keteladan dan kedisiplinan yang diberikan oleh semua warga sekolah.
