Abstract

In Education, teacher is a profession that is given the responsibility to provide knowledge, guide, advise, be a role model and shape the character of students to be even better. This article was prepared to find out and explore in depth the characteristics of 21st century education, its issues and challenges as well as several personality competency development models that provide PAI teachers with a perspective to prepare their personalities in accordance with existing standards and in line with the Shari'a and thoughts. Islamic thought. This paper uses the library research method developed by John Creswell. Through literature analysis, it was found that 21st century education is more about using one's abilities to the maximum accompanied by the existence of technology. There are several challenges that will be faced by PAI teachers, especially those who will be dealing directly with the alpha generation as students. So there are several models for developing a teacher's personality competence, such as training, coaching, workshops, further study, reciting the Koran, religious/spiritual activities, rewards, motivation.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of local history-based media implemented by teachers in schools. The research aims to determine the Implementation of Character Education using Local History Media of Palembang Malay Traditional Houses at SMA Aisyiyah 1 Palembang. The data collection method in this research uses observation, interviews and documentation methods which are then descriptive qualitative. This research uses sociology, education, anthropology and geography approaches. The results of this research are 1. Aisyiyah 1 Palembang High School students' understanding of local history is good. Students are able to explain the meaning of local history, know the local history in the city of Palembang. describing the existing local history, to the point of adopting the values ??and wisdom contained in local history. Then it also describes the philosophical value of the local history of the Palembang Malay Traditional House. 2) Implementation of this character education by means of the teacher first preparing a learning implementation plan (RPP) and syllabus, as well as Media Banners and Miniatures of Palembang Malay Traditional Houses, then in the RPP and teacher syllabus in each material the teacher always embeds character education in the Philosophical Values ??of Traditional Houses Malay through a learning process starting from initial learning activities, core learning activities, closing learning activities, and evaluation. 3) Inhibiting and Supporting Factors faced by teachers and students in the Implementation of Character Education through Learning Media Local History of Palembang Malay Traditional Houses at SMA Aisyiyah 1 Palembang, namely, the inhibiting factors are time, media, environment and learning models that are not implemented enough. Supporting factors are facilities and infrastructure as well as social media that support character education 4. Students' perceptions regarding the Implementation of Character Education through Learning Media Local History of the Palembang Malay Traditional House at SMA Aisyiyah 1 Palembang Implementation of Character Education for the Palembang Malay Traditional House at SMA Aisyiyah 1 Palembang has been carried out successfully. good, because it is proven that the character of the students shows good morals during the learning process, this is also supported because of the strict rules applied by the school regarding discipline and habituation.

Abstract

Abstract: Internalizing faith and Taqwa in everyday life is an important process in forming a personality with noble and responsible morals. Faith is belief in God Almighty, while Taqwa is the awareness to always carry out His Commands and avoid His prohibitions, these are the two main pillars for building a more meaningful and quality life. The internalization of religious values ??is not only limited to the spiritual aspect, but also includes implementation in attitudes, behavior and social interactions. The aim of this research is to reveal how the internalization of faith and piety can form more meaningful human life values ??in realizing the goal of human life to be happy in this world and the hereafter. Methods in field research (field research) with data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative data collection through observation, interviews with the community and the study community in Payo Besar village and supported by documentation data. This research results, firstly with the existence of a routine study program in the Payoh Besar district that creates a harmonious life in the community. Second, make the Mosque a place of worship and more active religious activities so that the life of the community is always active in commemorating the great days of Islam as well as other activities. With the application of the values ??of faith and piety, each individual is expected to be better, in Aqidah, Worship, patient, and oriented towards the common good. Therefore, the cultivation of the internalization of faith and piety is very important in religious education in social life which can be implemented through family education, formal education and the community environment. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning strategies for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) implemented by professional teachers in facing the challenges of Generation Z characteristics at SMP Negeri 5 Dumai. Generation Z, known for their tendency towards technology, critical thinking, and different learning styles, demands particular adaptations in teaching strategies. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The study subjects were PAI teachers and Generation Z students at SMP Negeri 5 Dumai. The study results indicate that Generation Z's characteristics significantly influence the PAI learning. Students show greater interest in learning involving technology and interaction, while conventional lecture methods could be more attractive. Teachers face challenges in increasing student attention and adjusting learning methods to be more exciting and relevant. To overcome this, professional teachers develop innovative strategies, such as integrating technology into learning, using visual media and digital applications, and interactive discussion approaches. This study concludes that the success of PAI learning for Generation Z is greatly influenced by the teacher's ability to innovate and adapt to the unique characteristics of this generation. Thus, improving teacher competence in using technology and developing more exciting and contextual learning methods is necessary to increase the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education learning in this digital era.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a religious and pluralistic country, faces major challenges in maintaining interfaith tolerance. This study aims to understand the influence of religiosity and trust on attitudes of religious tolerance among students of Islamic religious colleges in South Sumatra. Using a quantitative approach and survey method involving 387 respondents, this study examines the influence of religiosity, trust, and demographic factors (such as age, education, and occupation) on attitudes of religious tolerance through multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that religiosity and trust have a significant positive effect on religious tolerance. The higher the level of religiosity and trust between individuals, the greater the tendency of respondents to be tolerant. On the other hand, demographic factors such as age, gender, occupation, and parental expenditure level do not have a significant effect on tolerance. The regression model also indicates that religiosity and trust, although their contribution is not large, are important factors in understanding attitudes of religious tolerance in society. These findings encourage policy recommendations, such as strengthening religious moderation programs, optimizing the role of FKUB, and increasing trust between individuals through social programs, training of religious figures, tolerance campaigns in the media, and interfaith activities in schools. In conclusion, the integration of inclusive religious values ??and increasing mutual trust are important steps to strengthen religious tolerance in Indonesia, with the hope of strengthening the identity of a harmonious nation in diversity.

Abstract

Tantangan pada masa sekarang lebih terfokus pada kegiatan yang mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk menghadapi transformasi industri. Pancasila akan tetap penting selama bangsa Indonesia ada. Penting untuk meneliti dan memahami cita-cita tersebut agar dapat menilai apakah cita-cita tersebut hanya jargon atau kampanye. Tujuan penerapan P5PPRA, khususnya di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, adalah untuk membantu peserta didik membangun karakter positif yang akan melekat pada diri mereka. Dalam metode penelitian ini, penelitian deskriptif bertujuan untuk mendefinisikan situasi atau fenomena sebagaimana adanya dengan mempelajari berbagai jenis buku, artikel, teori, data yang benar, dan pendekatan kualitatif. Kurikulum PPRA merupakan upaya penyegaran kurikulum saat ini dengan memasukkan lebih banyak muatan materi humanis untuk meningkatkan toleransi dan moderasi. Simpulan dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan, yaitu: (1) kebijakan pembelajaran di masing-masing madrasah memiliki modelnya sendiri, (2) pembelajaran sesuai dengan tujuan kurikulum mandiri, yang didukung oleh lembaga sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik, (3) salah satu kendala dalam pembelajaran ini, pendidik masih kurang berinovasi dalam menjalankan pendekatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Al-Syaibany's thinking related to moral education in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research design. The results of the study show that the basic principles of morality according to Al-Shaibany consist of six main points. First, the belief in the importance of morals in life. Second, morality is seen as a deep attitude in the human soul. Third, morality aims to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter, both individually and in society. Fourth, the purpose of morality is to create happiness in this world and the hereafter for individuals and society. Fifth, morals must be in line with human nature. Sixth, moral theory is only considered perfect if it is supported by basic concepts such as conscience morality, moral compulsion, moral law, moral responsibility, and moral reward. In its relevance, moral education is a very important main instrument to be considered in policy making at all levels of education and institutions.

Abstract

Postmodernisme adalah sebuah pendekatan an keragaman pengalaman manusia. Dalam konteks pendidikan, post modernisme mengakui bahwa tidak ada satu pendekatan atau metode yang tepat untuk semua situasi, dan bahwa pendidikan harus memperhatikan perbedaan individu dan budaya. Pentingnya mempelajari pengaruh postmodernisme dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia perlu ditekankan karena pendekatan ini dapat memberikan wawasan baru tentang bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana eksistensi teori postmodern dalam pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian ini adalah kepustakaan, dengan Kajian literature review. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa landasan-landasan filosofis dalam teori postmodern tidak bertentangan dengan pendidikan Islam, dan bisa di jadikan sebagai acuan bagi seorang pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran.
