Abstract

This research aims first to identify student activities through the use of traditional games to improve fitness in class VIII B SMP N 2 Surakarta. The second objective is to evaluate the results of traditional games in an effort to improve the fitness of students in the same class. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of two cycles with stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research instrument used was a student fitness test using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) for ages 12-16 years. The research results showed an increase in student learning completeness from cycle I to cycle II, with the percentage increasing from 31.25% to 84.375%. The use of traditional games has also been proven to provide positive results in increasing student fitness, which is reflected in the increase in student success rates from cycle to cycle. Thus, the conclusion can be drawn that the use of traditional games is effective in increasing students' fitness in learning PJOK, especially on the topic of physical fitness.

Abstract

Banks are financial institutions that have an important role in the economy by providing financial services to the public. Its main function includes collecting funds from the community through various products such as savings and deposits, as well as channeling these funds back in the form of credit or loans to the community. The aim of this research is to find out the credit application procedure involves various stages of inspection and verification to ensure the debtor's suitability. In this writing regarding the resolution of problem (bad) credit using a normative legal approach (legislation), whether the handling of bad credit can be resolved through a mediative model, or must it be resolved through legal process (court). In principle, granting credit starts from submitting an application by the customer (potential debtor) through a credit application letter to the creditor (bank). This application letter functions as proof that the prospective debtor has initiated a transaction for the planned disbursement of loan funds in the form of credit. Next, this process is followed by fulfilling various subjective and objective requirements. If bad credit occurs because the debtor does not carry out its achievements as stated in the credit agreement, then before executing the collateral, the debtor must first be declared in default, which is done through a court decision.

Abstract

Early character education provides a strong foundation for developing a resilient and optimistic character. Dance and movement arts are powerful tools for fostering moral principles. The purpose of this study was to examine how dance and movement arts are used to develop children's character in Early Childhood Education (PAUD). A descriptive qualitative research methodology was used, and data were collected through documentation, interviews, and observations. The findings of the study indicate that dance and movement arts activities in early childhood can help develop character traits such as self-control, teamwork, discipline, and tolerance. Curious, expressive, and appreciative strategies that are tailored to the child's developmental stage are needed for effective implementation.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of constructivism theory in moral learning to internalize progressive Islam's values at SD Muhammadiyah Suruh, Semarang Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. This research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of pedagogical practices. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and principals, participatory observation in the classroom to observe teacher interactions and methods, and documentation analysis of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), teaching modules, and school programs. Data validity was established through source triangulation and confirmation with respondents. The results indicate that implementing constructivism encourages active, participatory, and contextualized moral learning. Methods such as values discussion, role simulation, and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) are applied to facilitate students to solve real moral problems. In addition, reflective activities such as daily moral journals and explicit integration of the values of Islam Berkemajuan significantly deepen the internalization of values. Despite some challenges, such as teachers' lack of understanding of constructivism methods and limited facilities, this study highlighted effective concrete solution strategies, including continuous teacher training, development of specific morals assessment rubrics, utilization of relevant but straightforward learning media, and initiation of collaborative programs between school and parents to integrate education at home. The findings conclude that the constructivism approach, supported by the implementation of strategic solutions, effectively contributes to the formation of student characters who are noble and responsive to the challenges of the times by the ideals of progressive Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning design applied by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at the Junior High School (SMP) level. The focus of this study is to determine (1) How is the process of preparing learning design by PAI teachers in Semarang Regency, (2) How is the implementation of learning design in the learning process in the classroom, (3) Is there a gap between the design and implementation of learning, (4) the factors causing the gap, and (5) the impacts arising from the gap on the quality of PAI learning. The research method uses a mix of methods through qualitative and survey instruments. Data were collected by distributing closed questionnaires to 34 PAI teachers in several randomly selected areas. The results of the data analysis showed that the implementation of learning design by PAI teachers was in the "quite good" category, with an average score of 73.5%. The planning aspect obtained the highest score, while the learning evaluation aspect showed the lowest score. These findings indicate the need for improvements in learning evaluation and strengthening professional training to support the effectiveness of PAI learning design in junior high schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in identifying multiple intelligences of early childhood at An-Nida Kindergarten, Jalan Mister No. 21, Sei Putih, Medan Petisah District, Medan City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were group B teachers who taught 15 children (10 girls and 5 boys). Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that teachers had a fairly good understanding of the theory of multiple intelligences developed by Howard Gardner. Teachers carried out the process of identifying intelligence through observation of children's activities, analysis of work, dialogue with children and parents, and recording in a development journal. The intelligences identified included musical, kinesthetic, visual-spatial, interpersonal, logic-mathematical, linguistic, and naturalist. Teachers played an active role in following up on the identification results by providing learning stimulation that was in accordance with the child's potential. However, there were several obstacles in the identification process, such as limited measuring instruments, time, and in-depth training. This finding confirms that the role of teachers is very important in recognizing the intelligence potential of early childhood as a basis for developing holistic and child-centered learning.

Abstract

This study was conducted to explore efforts to improve kinesthetic intelligence in preschool children through the application of drama methods in PAUD Syarah. Kinesthetic intelligence can be interpreted as a child's ability to optimally utilize his body to convey ideas and emotions, as well as including fine and gross motor skills. The research approach applied was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was implemented in two cycles, with 15 children from group B as research objects. Data collection was carried out through observation, document collection, and interviews. The research findings indicate that the application of structured and planned role-playing methods can encourage an increase in children's kinesthetic intelligence. This can be seen from the increase in children's ability to imitate movements, regulate body coordination, and active involvement in role-playing activities. The conclusion of this study is that the drama method is proven to be effective as a learning strategy to advance the kinesthetic intelligence of early childhood children in PAUD Syarah.

Abstract

The development of an Islamic education curriculum is a strategic step in facing the challenges of the times and the needs of students in various types of educational institutions. This study aims to describe the model of Islamic education curriculum development in formal and non-formal educational institutions, such as public schools, madrasas, and Islamic boarding schools. The method used in this study is library research with qualitative-descriptive data analysis. The results of the study indicate that each type of institution has its own unique curriculum development characteristics, ranging from a dichotomous model, an integrative mechanism, to an organism model that emphasizes the relationship between spiritual, social, and intellectual aspects. The conclusion of this article emphasizes the importance of relevance, flexibility, and integration of Islamic values in every aspect of the educational curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the spiritual involvement of youth through the Hadroh art as a medium for religious development and character strengthening. In the era of globalization and digitalization, youth face various moral and spiritual challenges that may weaken their Islamic identity. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research explores how active participation in Hadroh fosters religious awareness, strengthens moral values, and enhances social solidarity. The findings reveal that Hadroh serves as an effective means of da’wah and Islamic character formation, where young participants experience spiritual engagement through chanting shalawat and practicing communal values. This activity not only reinforces religious and social bonds but also helps adolescents manage emotions, cultivate responsibility, and develop continuous religious motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembiasaan shalat Dhuhur berjamaah sebagai implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di MAN Temanggung, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung, penghambat, dan implikasinya terhadap pembentukan karakter religius siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus naturalistik, melibatkan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, wakil kepala madrasah bidang kesiswaan, dan siswa sebagai informan utama. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan shalat Dhuhur berjamaah di MAN Temanggung terlaksana secara sistematis dan terintegrasi dalam budaya madrasah. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini didukung oleh peran aktif guru PAI dan manajemen madrasah dalam memberikan keteladanan serta pengawasan rutin. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi ketersediaan fasilitas ibadah yang memadai dan dukungan kelembagaan, sedangkan hambatannya berkaitan dengan keterbatasan ruang ibadah dan sarana wudhu. Secara konseptual, pembiasaan ini memperkuat teori habit formation dan integrasi nilai Islam dalam pendidikan. Secara praktis, kegiatan ini berimplikasi positif terhadap peningkatan kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran religius siswa, sekaligus membentuk budaya madrasah yang berkarakter Islami.
