Abstract

This community service program aims to foster elementary school students' environmental awareness through a fun and participatory gamification approach. The activities were carried out over three weeks in Grade 3 Anas bin Malik at SDIT Buahati Islamic School Mamuju. The program, titled Eco School, engaged students in completing daily challenges related to environmentally friendly behavior, such as bringing their own water bottles and lunch boxes, maintaining classroom cleanliness by properly disposing of waste and avoiding storing trash in desk drawers, and taking care of plants. Students earned points for each successfully completed challenge, and those who consistently performed well and achieved the highest scores were rewarded as the best students in the class. The results of the program showed a noticeable improvement in students’ awareness and behavior regarding cleanliness and environmental care. This program has proven to be an effective educational strategy—simple yet impactful.

Abstract

Plalangan Village is predominantly a tobacco-farming community. In practice, many farmers manage agricultural land through a profit-sharing system using the muzara’ah contract. However, the contract is mostly verbal and undocumented, leading to potential injustices and noncompliance with sharia principles. This community service activity aimed to assist farmers in understanding and implementing muzara’ah contracts properly. The method used was direct mentoring through interviews, observation, and education on Islamic economic principles. The results showed increased farmer understanding of the pillars and conditions of muzara’ah, the importance of written agreements, and the application of fairness and transparency. This assistance encouraged the transformation of muzara’ah practices into more equitable and sharia-compliant arrangements

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s economic growth, yet many business owners still struggle with managing their finances according to Sharia principles. This study aims to implement Sharia-based mentoring for Kedai Serly, a culinary MSME in Bengkulu City, to improve financial independence through halal and sustainable financial management. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), emphasizing active collaboration between researchers and business owners in problem identification, solution planning, training, practical implementation, and evaluation. Results show a significant increase in the business owner's understanding of Sharia financial concepts, rising from 43% to 85% based on questionnaire assessments. The business partner began applying more orderly financial recording, separating personal and business funds, and avoiding transactions involving riba (interest). Additionally, there was increased awareness of running a business in line with Islamic values and interest in accessing Islamic microfinance. In conclusion, participatory Sharia-based mentoring effectively fosters healthy and financially independent business practices, and it is worth replicating in other MSMEs to support a more inclusive Islamic economic ecosystem.

Abstract

Banjir rutin di Surakarta menimbulkan kerusakan fisik dan sosial yang membutuhkan penanganan terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan rehabilitasi dan rekonstruksi pasca banjir berbasis masyarakat di Kelurahan Kadipiro, Surakarta. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan model praktis penanganan pasca banjir berbasis komunitas yang dapat direplikasi oleh pemerintah daerah dan lembaga kebencanaan untuk membangun ketahanan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan responden sebanyak 20 responden. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas warga dalam mitigasi, evakuasi, dan sanitasi melalui pelatihan oleh BPBD dan organisasi lokal. Infrastruktur diperbaiki secara gotong royong dan didukung teknologi seperti sensor banjir, aplikasi lokal, serta infografik edukatif. Program juga memperkuat ekonomi warga melalui dukungan UMKM dan pembentukan lumbung sosial. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan terpadu berbasis masyarakat efektif membangun ketahanan komunitas dan dapat direplikasi di wilayah rawan bencana lainnya.

Abstract

MSMEs play an important role in supporting national economic growth, but many business actors still do not understand the importance of utilizing digital technology, both in payment systems and marketing strategies. This community service program aims to assist MSME Reni Allshop in implementing non-cash payment methods based on QRIS and developing promotions through digital marketing. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves MSME actors in the process of observation, problem formulation, solution solving, and implementation of actions. The results of this activity show a significant increase in the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in the use of QRIS as an efficient and secure payment system, as well as in managing social media as a means of promotion. MSME actors have succeeded in understanding the importance of content consistency, copywriting techniques, and optimizing digital platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp. This program has been proven to have a positive impact on transaction effectiveness and marketing appeal, as well as increasing the professionalism and competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

UMKM MJ Coffee Shop di Bantul bertumbuh pesat sejak 2018, namun menghadapi tantangan rotasi karyawan, fluktuasi pendapatan, dan persaingan menu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kesenjangan manajerial serta merancang strategi pemberdayaan terpadu. Metode observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen diterapkan selama Januari–Maret 2025. Hasilnya, ditemukan kekuatan pada atmosfer kedai dan loyalitas pelanggan, sedangkan kelemahan mencakup pencatatan keuangan manual, rekrutmen informal, dan pasokan bahan baku tidak stabil. Rekomendasi meliputi digitalisasi pembukuan, SOP perekrutan berbasis kompetensi, dan kemitraan pemasok lokal. Implementasi awal menunjukkan peningkatan akurasi laporan keuangan dan waktu penyajian 15 %. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan manajemen terpadu bagi UMKM kuliner.

Abstract

Observasi UMKM Bakso dan Mie Ayam Cak Iwan Pakualaman dilakukan untuk memahami dinamika usaha kuliner skala kecil. Usaha ini dirintis pada tahun 1980 dengan berjualan keliling menggunakan gerobak pikul, kemudian berkembang menjadi warung menetap, dan hingga kini menempati dua unit rumah toko. Metode observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data terkait sejarah, proses produksi, manajemen sumber daya manusia, pemasaran, dan keuangan. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa UMKM ini mampu bertahan dan berkembang dengan mengandalkan kualitas produk, pelayanan, dan kemampuan beradaptasi. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti manajemen sumber daya manusia yang belum terstruktur dan pemanfaatan pemasaran digital yang kurang optimal. Observasi ini memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai pengelolaan UMKM kuliner dan menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan di masa depan.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in the processing of Traditional Steamed Tiwul Food still face challenges in marketing their processed products. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies of Traditional Steamed Tiwul Food products in Gunungkidul. The method used in this study is a quantitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation, which are then presented in the form of data. The analysis used is an analysis of the influence of the Marketing Mix (product, price, promotion, and location) on the marketing performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises producing Tiwul Kukus in Gunungkidul. The research results indicate that the marketing strategies for Tiwul Kukus products in Gunungkidul still face several challenges, particularly in the areas of promotion and distribution. The Marketing Mix analysis indicates that the product and price elements have been implemented and executed effectively, but promotion and location still need to be improved to support the marketing performance of the Tiwul Kukus MSME. Data from observation, interviews, and documentation suggest that the use of digital media and the selection of appropriate sales locations play a crucial role in enhancing the product's competitiveness.

Abstract

The transition period from kindergarten to elementary school is a crucial stage that requires comprehensive readiness from children, both cognitively, emotionally, socially, and physically. This readiness does not emerge suddenly but is shaped through a continuous nurturing process and support from the immediate environment, particularly from parents. The parenting activities conducted at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 49 Kindergarten in Semarang on Saturday, May 31, 2025, aim to enhance parents' understanding of the importance of their role in preparing children for the elementary education phase. Through an educational and dialogic approach, the activity encouraged parents to be more aware of their parenting responsibilities, which are not only focused on academic aspects but also on character development and children's independence. Evaluation of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge of effective support strategies, such as establishing daily routines, assigning small responsibilities, and supporting children in social interactions. This activity emphasizes that consistent and role-aware parental involvement is key to helping children achieve the maturity needed before entering elementary school.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy. Based on data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, the MSME sector contributes more than 60% tonational GDP and absorbs more than 97% of the work force.  Despitethis, many MSMEs face challenges interms of good financial management and adequate internal controls. This condition hinders their ability to grow, innovate, and survive in market competition. One of the factors that cause ineffective financial managementin MSMEs is the lack of understanding and implementation of adequate internal controls. The purpose of this Community Service is to identify the obstacles faced by MSMEs in implementing effective internal controls and provide practical solutions to over come them.
