Family involvement has a major impact on children's motivation to learn. Good personality is usually shown by children who are raised in harmonious and intact homes. The purpose of this study was to determine the state of broken home families, the level of learning interest among students, and the relationship between the two at MTs Hikmatunnidzom Gunungguruh Sukabumi. This study used an experiment as its methodology, using a sample of 20 students from families with broken homes. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and surveys. The relationship between students' learning interest and families with broken homes was ascertained by quantitative analysis of the data. Many students at MTs Hikmatunnidzom Gunungguruh Sukabumi rarely live with their parents, according to the data, which shows that broken home families are a relatively rare occurrence. Students' learning interest is in the sufficient group. However, based on statistical analysis, if the rxy value (0.38) < rtable (0.468), then Ho is accepted, which indicates that students' learning interest is not influenced by a history of broken home families. Thus, at MTs Hikmatunnidzom Gunungguruh Sukabumi there is no correlation between students' interest in learning and the condition of broken home families.

This study explores the implementation of guidance and counseling (GC) programs in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic elementary schools) and their effects on students’ academic and behavioral outcomes. Conducted at MI Undruss Binangun using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews with counselors, teachers, and students. The results show that GC programs contributed positively to student development—78% of students experienced a 15–20% improvement in academic grades, and 72% reported enhanced emotional regulation and conflict resolution skills. However, challenges such as limited time allocation, lack of parental awareness, and inadequate facilities hinder optimal implementation. Anchored in Bandura’s social learning theory, the study highlights the importance of structured guidance in shaping student behavior and achievement. To strengthen GC effectiveness, the study recommends integrating GC into the school curriculum, enhancing counselor training, and upgrading facilities. Future research should investigate digital-based GC models to broaden reach and accessibility. These findings support the advancement of holistic education in Islamic elementary schools and provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers aiming to improve student well-being and academic success.

This study investigates the process of internalizing character values through Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah, focusing on effective classroom management strategies. Using a qualitative case study method, the research involved observations, interviews with teachers, and analysis of student reflections. The findings reveal a three-phase internalization model: (1) establishing a conducive learning environment through religious opening rituals, (2) integrating character values into subject matter via group discussions and case studies, and (3) reinforcing values through reflective practices. Results demonstrate significant improvements in students' positive attitudes (85% participation rate) and disciplinary behavior (70% compliance increase), particularly through verbal reinforcement and symbolic rewards. However, challenges persist in maintaining behavioral consistency outside classroom settings and limited parental involvement. The study highlights the crucial role of structured classroom management in character education while emphasizing the need for multimedia learning tools and extended learning time. These outcomes contribute to theoretical frameworks of value internalization and offer practical insights for Islamic education practitioners seeking to balance academic and character development objectives in madrasah curricula.

Students' learning difficulties remain a fundamental issue in the field of education, particularly in mathematics at the elementary and secondary school levels. This study aims to analyze the factors causing students’ learning difficulties based on Jean Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, and to explore effective strategies for addressing these issues through a holistic approach. The method employed in this research is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which is a structured and methodical approach to identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing previous relevant studies. The literature was purposively selected from various national and international academic journals published between 2014 and 2024. The findings reveal that the mismatch between teaching methods and students’ stages of cognitive development is the primary cause of learning obstacles. In addition, affective factors such as emotional intelligence and spiritual well-being significantly influence students’ motivation and participation in the learning process. The study also finds that students’ engagement in religious activities can strengthen character and reduce non-cognitive learning barriers. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of an integrative approach that considers both cognitive and affective aspects in designing effective learning strategies. The implication is that teachers need to thoroughly understand students’ developmental stages in order to implement appropriate, adaptive, and holistic instructional methods.

This study addresses the rising unemployment rate among vocational graduates in Sukabumi, Indonesia, by exploring the integration of Islamic values into entrepreneurship education. The core issue lies in the mismatch between graduates’ skills and labor market needs, compounded by insufficient emphasis on ethical entrepreneurship in Islamic institutions. Through a systematic literature review, this research analyzes how Islamic principles honesty (sidq), trustworthiness (amanah), justice (‘adl), and excellence (ihsan) can create sustainable, ethical businesses. Data were extracted from Scopus, Google Scholar, and peer-reviewed journals (2014–2024) using keywords like "Islamic entrepreneurship" and "halal business." Results demonstrate that these values strengthen customer trust, operational transparency, and long-term business resilience while fostering socio-economic equity. The study concludes that embedding Islamic ethics into vocational curricula can cultivate entrepreneurial graduates who balance profit with social impact. Practical implications include policy recommendations for enhancing Islamic entrepreneurship programs and addressing ethical gaps in modern business practices. This research contributes to the discourse on faith-based entrepreneurship and offers a framework for aligning education with market demands.

This study addresses the crucial relationship between Arabic language acquisition and Qur'an memorization in Islamic educational settings. The research aims to quantitatively measure the influence of Arabic language learning on Qur'an memorization ability among eighth-grade students at MTs Al-Ma'arij Bojonggenteng Sukabumi. Using a descriptive-correlational quantitative approach with total sampling of 28 students, data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical methods. The results demonstrate significant positive correlations, with 100% of students showing Arabic material comprehension, 100% achieving fluent Arabic vocabulary pronunciation, and 92.85% mastering proper Arabic intonation. The study concludes that Arabic language proficiency substantially enhances Qur'an memorization capabilities through improved semantic understanding and phonetic accuracy. These findings imply the necessity of developing integrated curricula that combine linguistic and spiritual approaches in Islamic education, suggesting that Arabic language instruction should be systematically aligned with Qur'anic studies to optimize memorization outcomes. The research contributes to the development of more effective pedagogical models in religious education that leverage linguistic competence for enhanced spiritual learning.

This study addresses the critical issue of low Quranic reading proficiency among students at SMA Islam Miftahussa'adah, a secondary school in Indonesia, where preliminary data revealed significant deficiencies in fluency, tajwid application, and letter recognition. The primary objective was to analyze the effectiveness of the Quranic Reading and Writing (BTQ) method in enhancing students' ability to read the Quran correctly. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research combined a quasi-experimental design with qualitative data collection. A sample of 21 students was selected through random sampling, and data were gathered via validated questionnaires, participatory classroom observations, and in-depth interviews with both the teacher and students. The results demonstrated a 15% average improvement in overall Quranic reading ability, with notable gains in reading fluency (20%), mastery of makharijul huruf (18%), and understanding of tajwid (15%). Statistical analysis confirmed a significant positive correlation between the BTQ method and reading proficiency. In conclusion, while the BTQ method shows substantial potential, its effectiveness is heavily dependent on implementation quality, particularly regarding teaching methodology variation and media utilization. The study implies the necessity for comprehensive teacher training in diverse pedagogical strategies and the integration of digital learning tools to optimize BTQ instruction and address the multifaceted challenges of contemporary Islamic education.

This study aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic Education teachers to increase awareness of the duha prayer among high school students. The background of this study is the low awareness of some students in performing the duha prayer regularly. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation at SMA Plus Kembangkuning Ciambar, Sukabumi. The results show that teachers' strategies are carried out through worship habits, collaborative religious activities, and continuous evaluation. Teachers collaborate with the school in forming a spiritual culture through congregational duha prayer and student religious lectures. Evaluations were conducted periodically by monitoring student attendance, involvement, and attitude changes. These strategies proved effective in increasing worship awareness and shaping students' religious character. The conclusion of this study shows that Islamic Religious Education teacher strategies designed collaboratively and contextually can be a model for strengthening character education based on Islamic spiritual values.

This systematic literature review addresses the crucial challenge of identifying learning difficulties among junior high school students aged 13-15 through the lens of Piaget's cognitive development theory. The study aims to analyze manifestations of learning difficulties, identify inhibiting factors, and formulate effective intervention strategies based on Piagetian principles. Using the PRISMA 2020 guideline, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of empirical studies from Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and other academic databases published between 2005-2025. The results reveal consistent patterns of learning difficulties characterized by dependency on concrete representations, limited abstract reasoning capabilities, and cognitive regression phenomena across mathematics and science subjects. Furthermore, the study identifies significant discrepancies between instructional methods and students' cognitive stages as primary contributing factors. The research concludes by proposing a diagnostic matrix prototype that bridges theoretical Piagetian constructs with practical classroom applications. The findings emphasize the urgent need for cognitive stage-appropriate teaching strategies and have substantial implications for curriculum development, teacher training programs, and educational policy formulation in basic education.

This research addresses the significant gap in empirical studies concerning Information Technology implementation in Indonesian elementary schools' strategic management. The study aims to analyze implementation strategies, identify supporting and hindering factors, and develop an applicable IT governance model for elementary education contexts. Employing a qualitative case study methodology, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis at SD Al Azhar SBP, involving teachers, administrative staff, and school principals. Findings reveal exceptional technology adoption rates with 97% positive reception of the Notion platform, 91% parent satisfaction with digital enrollment systems, and 96.3% teacher confidence in technology utilization. However, a critical discovery emerged regarding 3.7% of teachers experiencing low digital self-efficacy, indicating a capability divide that extends beyond mere technological access. The research confirms the applicability of the Technology Acceptance Model while demonstrating its limitations in addressing organizational and cultural dimensions within elementary education environments. Consequently, this study proposes the School-Technology Integration Model (S-TIM), incorporating institutional readiness, pedagogical alignment, and community engagement as essential components for sustainable technology integration. The findings emphasize that successful digital transformation in elementary education necessitates comprehensive strategies addressing both technological infrastructure and human resource development through differentiated training programs and robust organizational support mechanisms.
