Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of Lampung Tapis Embroidery products on the welfare of the community, especially the Lampung Tapis Embroidery artisans, which are one of the typical cultural heritages of Lampung Province that need to be preserved. This study uses a descriptive correlational method through a quantitative approach with simple regression analysis using the SPSS program. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling because the population is the same as a sample of 30 artisans at PKBM Permata Metro. The data collection technique was distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale of 1 to 5. The results showed that the quality of traditional Sulam Tapis products had no significant effect on Community Welfare at PKBM Permata Metro Lampung because the income that artisans got from PKBM Permata was less than Rp. 500,000, so the artisans felt income from Tapis Embroidery was insufficient for daily food and school children's needs. PKBM Permata Metro is advised to be able to increase learning hours in Lampung Tapis embroidery and provide visual and relevant learning so that artisans easily understand techniques and materials and improve discipline, as well as readjusting craftsman wages. Abstract

T The Pinisi boat is a maritime cultural heritage of Indonesia originating from Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. However, the sustainability of the Pinisi boat-building industry faces various challenges in the shipyard business. This study aims to evaluate the supply chain in the Pinisi boat-building industry and design a more effective, efficient, and sustainable supply chain management strategy using the blue economy approach. The research method used is a qualitative approach, with data collected through semi-structured interviews with shipyard business owners and Pinisi boat craftsmen. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis, thematic analysis, and constant comparative analysis with the aid of NVivo 15 software. The results show that supply chain management in this industry is still not optimal, particularly in raw material procurement, workforce management, and marketing. Additionally, foreign intervention in the shipyard business has led to market price imbalances and poses a threat to the industry’s sustainability. Therefore, a blue economy-based strategy is needed, including more sustainable raw material management, increased access to financing for craftsmen, and the use of digital technology for marketing and distribution. By implementing these strategies, the Pinisi boat-building industry is expected to continue growing and providing greater economic benefits to coastal communities. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of tourism development on local culture, with a case study of Fatumnasi Tourism Village in South Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. In-depth and structured interviews were conducted with 10 informants, including village heads, traditional leaders, community leaders, and members of tourism awareness groups (pokdarwis). The data obtained were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification, and final conclusions. The results of the study showed that tourism development had no impact on 12 cultural elements that were cultural attractions, namely: language, community customs, handicrafts, food and eating habits, music and art, historical sites, work methods and technology, beliefs (religion), architectural forms and characteristics, dress codes, education systems, and leisure activities. However, tourism development in Fatumnasi Tourism Village has an impact on shifting cultural values. Even though there has been a shift in cultural values, the cultural roots of the Fatumnasi community remain firmly embedded in their thinking and character, as seen in their daily lives. Another finding shows that increased tourist visits encourage them to continue preserving their culture. Keywords: impact of tourism development, local culture
