Abstract

This paper explores the role of Muhammadiyah ideology in the implementation of public administration, especially in facing the challenges of a complex and slow bureaucracy. As one of the largest religious organizations in Indonesia, Muhammadiyah has the potential to encourage social reform based on Islamic values. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis and case studies to evaluate the implementation of public policies involving Muhammadiyah. The findings show that Muhammadiyah faces obstacles such as public policy dynamics, limited resources, and complexity of administrative procedures. However, bureaucratic reform efforts through simplifying procedures, utilizing information technology, strengthening human resource capacity, and collaborating with various parties provide opportunities for significant improvement. Such strategies not only increase the efficiency of public services but also strengthen Muhammadiyah's role in supporting administrative reform in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah can contribute significantly to public administration by adopting innovative and responsive approaches to changing times, making Islamic values the foundation for sustainable reform.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the challenges and solutions in Arabic language learning in Indonesia in the face of the digital disruption era. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, the study analyzes relevant sources related to Arabic language education, educational technology development, and 21st-century skills requirements. The findings indicate that learning is still dominated by conventional methods, lacks technological integration, and shows weak mastery of the four language skills (maharah lughawiyah). As a solution, this article proposes innovative, technology-based learning strategies, including the use of interactive digital media, communicative approaches, and creative instructional design tailored to the needs of the digital generation. It is expected that these ideas can serve as a reference for developing more effective and relevant Arabic language curricula and teaching practices.

Abstract

Christian education faces significant challenges in the era of digital disruption, where technology and social changes require rapid adaptation in curricula and teaching methods. This research aims to explore how Christian values can be integrated into the digital curriculum in Christian schools, the readiness of teachers in developing faith-based pedagogies, and the potential of digital strategies to instill Christian values in Generation Alpha. The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review, examining related literature on Christian education, transformative pedagogy, and theories of digital generations and digital literacy. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on combining Christian value integration with the rapidly developing digital education technologies and its contribution to character formation in the digital generation. The research findings indicate that the integration of Christian values into the digital curriculum should be approached holistically and contextually, utilizing technology to deepen moral and spiritual teachings. Furthermore, the readiness of Christian teachers to implement transformative faith-based pedagogies is essential for ensuring authentic character formation. The potential of digital strategies to educate Generation Alpha, as digital natives, can be maximized through interactive and innovative media. In conclusion, Christian education in the era of disruption requires a balance between technology and faith, where technology is used as a tool to introduce and reinforce Christian values in the lives of young people.

Abstract

This study aims to compare two Qur'an reading methods implemented in different institutions: the Asy Syifa' Method at Alima Quran House and the Dirosa Method at the Omah Ngaji Berbagi Community Islamic Boarding School. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research explores how each method is implemented, identifies their respective strengths and weaknesses, and assesses their impact on students' Qur'an reading abilities. Data collection involved direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. The research subjects consisted of students and instructors from both institutions. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings indicate that the Asy Syifa' Method has a structured, level-based curriculum (Tahsin A–D) supported by regular evaluations such as mid- and end-semester tests. This method effectively enhances students' accuracy in reading the Qur'an, particularly in mastering tajweed and makhrajul huruf. In contrast, the Dirosa Method provides a simpler and more time-efficient learning experience, comprising only 20 sessions, making it suitable for adult beginners aiming to quickly gain basic Qur'an reading skills. However, this method lacks systematic evaluation and in-depth tajweed instruction. In conclusion, both methods offer distinct advantages depending on the learners’ needs: the Asy Syifa' Method suits those seeking structured, in-depth mastery, while the Dirosa Method benefits those requiring flexible, rapid learning. These findings are expected to inform educators and Islamic learning institutions in selecting appropriate Qur'an teaching methods based on their students’ profiles and learning objectives

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged the rapid growth of online trading systems, which facilitate interaction between business actors and consumers. However, this progress also poses new legal protection and challenges to responsibility in electronic transactions. Legal protection for consumers and business actors is regulated by various regulations, such as Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (UUPK) and Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE). Consumers are protected from harmful practices, such as inappropriate product information, fraud, or defective products, while business actors are given legal certainty in running their businesses. The responsibilities of business actors include providing clear information, transparent transaction management, and fair dispute resolution. By ensuring clear legal protection and liability, the online trading system can create trust between business actors and consumers, so buying and selling transactions can run more easily, safely, and efficiently. This paper analyses the legal aspects that protect both parties while highlighting the obligations of business actors to create a safe and comfortable transaction environment.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of SWOT analysis as a strategic tool in education management to improve the quality and effectiveness of educational institutions. The main focus of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness, challenges, and best practices of the implementation of SWOT in the context of educational institutions in Indonesia. Through the literature study method, data is collected from various literature sources such as scientific journals, policy documents, and research reports. The results of the study show that SWOT analysis is able to provide a comprehensive overview of the internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external (opportunities and threats) conditions of the institution, thus making it easier to formulate strategies based on real conditions. SWOT has been proven to encourage more adaptive, participatory, and data-driven strategic planning, as well as strengthen stakeholder involvement in the decision-making process. Nonetheless, the successful implementation of SWOT is highly dependent on data quality, managerial capacity, and the sustainability of follow-up from the analysis results. Challenges that often arise are subjectivity in assessment, lack of technical training, and limitations in integrating SWOT into the institution's long-term plan. This study contributes to strengthening the strategic management practice of education in Indonesia, as well as opening up space for further research on the integration of SWOT with other management models such as the Balanced Scorecard and quantitative analysis based on strategic matrices.
