Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has significantly impacted various sectors, including higher education. This study aims to analyze the role of AI in enhancing the quality of student learning through a literature review approach. The findings reveal that AI offers numerous benefits, such as personalized learning, increased accessibility, and efficiency in assessments and administration. AI enables the delivery of tailored instructional materials, provides immediate feedback, and supports students from diverse backgrounds to access equitable learning opportunities. However, AI implementation also faces challenges, including technological gaps, lack of user skills, and resistance to change. Additionally, ethical issues related to data privacy and security require special attention. This study concludes that despite these challenges, AI has great potential to improve the quality of higher education inclusively and efficiently. Policy recommendations include enhancing technological infrastructure, providing training for users, and developing regulations to ensure responsible AI implementation in education.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to understand and formulate effective marketing strategies for pesantren-based colleges, taking into account the social and cultural contexts that exist in them. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study to analyze marketing management strategies in pesantren-based colleges. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with managers, marketing staff, and students, as well as participatory observation and documentation analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify key themes such as branding strategy, market segmentation, student services, and utilization of technology in marketing. This research aims to provide in-depth understanding and recommendations to enhance competitive advantage through effective marketing. The conclusion of this discussion shows that boarding school-based universities have challenges and opportunities in developing marketing strategies. Differentiation based on religious values becomes a competitive advantage, offering quality education with a focus on character building and spirituality. The utilization of digital technology, such as social media and websites, increases visibility and accessibility, strengthening the modern image without abandoning religious values. However, limited resources in budget, professional personnel, and understanding of data-driven marketing are still obstacles. Internal capacity building and external collaboration are needed to optimize a more structured and data-driven marketing.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are closely related to the study of the yellowIslamic classic book. and one of the problems that occur in pesantren is the weakness of santri in reading the yellowIslamic classic book. In an effort to develop the ability to read the yellowclassical books of the students, the Bata-bata Islamic boarding school formed an internal pesantren organization, namely M2KD (Majelis Musyawarah Kutubuddiniyah) which oversees several autonomous fields with a course system that specifically explores the yellowclassical books with educational management that has been arranged optimally to develop the ability of students in the field of kutubiyah (kutub as-Salaf). This study aims to determine the management process of Islamic boarding schools in developing the quality of reading the yellow book of students, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of developing the quality of reading the yellow book of students at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-bata Putri Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out using in-depth interview techniques, observation and documentation. The data analysis used is an interactive analysis of the Miles and Huberman model with three stages, namely data collection, data condensation and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the management of the boarding school in an effort to develop the quality of yellow book reading of students was carried out by forming an internal pesantren organization, namely the kutubuddiniyah deliberation assembly which oversees thirteen institutions that have different study focuses to accommodate the talents and interests of students in the field of yellow book with a fast method of group learning system to maximize the results that have been formulated. The supporting factor for this activity is the leeway from the pesantren for M2KD autonomous participants to participate in M2KD internal activities even though it conflicts with pesantren activities. The inhibiting factor is the double job of the supervisor who is felt to be less than optimal in carrying out KBM and guiding students outside KBM such as sorogan activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of Cash On Delivery (COD) payment for economics students at Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) as consumers on the Shopee e-commerce platform. With the advancement of digital technology, e-commerce has become a primary alternative for shopping, with Shopee being one of the most popular platforms in Indonesia. One of the payment methods frequently chosen by consumers, especially students, is COD, which allows payment to be made after the goods are received. This method provides a sense of security and reduces concerns about fraud, thus increasing purchase interest among students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to explore the factors influencing the choice of COD payment method and how it impacts student consumption behavior. The findings show that COD offers convenience, flexibility, and a sense of security for students who have limited access to digital payment methods. Additionally, COD plays a role in improving students' financial literacy and strengthening the social relationship between consumers and e-commerce platforms through interaction with couriers. This study identifies various factors influencing students' decisions to choose COD, as well as its implications for e-commerce platform strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to show the paradox of housing development in urban areas. This study uses a literature review method. The results of the study show that housing development in urban areas experiences a paradox on the one hand, building houses for those who do not need a house as a place to live but as an investment. However, displacing homeless people who need a place to live. The policy alternatives offered are: (1) building a political contract as an effort to eradicate policies that pay attention to housing policies; (2) a win-win policy solution in addition to paying attention to good city planning also provides a solution for those who are homeless so that they still have a place to live that is not far from where they work

Abstract

This study is based on the phenomenon that sharia property has emerged as an option for the community, especially for those who want to buy a house or just invest, making the community, especially Muslims, feel much more comfortable because they can avoid usury which is prohibited in Islam. The focus of this study is: 1) What is the Form of Sharia Economic Transformation in the provision of Landed Houses for MBR at PT. Herijaya Asri Sentosa? 2) How is the Review of Sharia Economics on the Transformation of Sharia Economics in the provision of Landed Houses to Low-Income Communities at PT. Herijaya Asri Sentosa? This study uses a qualitative approach and a case study research type. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data display, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of the study show the following: 1) The Form of Sharia Economic Transformation in the provision of Landed Houses for MBR at PT. Herijaya Asri Sentosa is to have a murabahah/sale and purchase agreement. Where, the owner of PT. Herijaya Asri Sentosa sells finished housing units through Conventional Banks/BNI Bank. Then, PT. Herijaya Asri Sentosa applies a sharia system to its consumers by not applying usury, tadlis and gharar in its sales process. The process of buying and selling houses based on sharia principles uses a sale and purchase agreement agreed upon between the owner and the buyer. 2) Review of Sharia Economics on Sharia Economic Transformation in the provision of Landed Housing to low-income communities at PT. Herijaya Asri Sentosa is in accordance with sharia economics. Where in this case, there are no elements of usury, tadlis, and no elements of gharar in the transaction process or its implementation. There is no interest or fine given to consumers, only a take over system if the consumer is unable to pay for more than 3 times due. This is because interest and fines are not in accordance with applicable Islamic law.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (MPAI) at the elementary school level has a very important role in shaping the character and morality of students. However, in the midst of technological development, globalization, and rapid social change, MPAI faces various challenges. One of the main challenges is the low understanding of the community and students regarding the importance of religious education. In addition, diverse perspectives on religious teachings and moral values contribute to the difficulty in designing appropriate teaching materials for students. The influence of digital technology also poses its own challenges, where students are more exposed to information that sometimes contradicts the religious values taught in schools. However, the contemporary era also provides great opportunities for the development of MPAI learning. The utilization of digital technology, such as educational applications, social media, and online learning platforms, allows for a more engaging and interactive presentation of teaching materials. With technology, religious learning becomes more flexible, effective and efficient, and can reach a wider range of students. In addition, the integration of religious values with contemporary issues in teaching materials can increase the relevance of religious education among students. Therefore, educators need to develop innovative methods, utilize technology wisely, and strengthen students' understanding of religious values in daily life. This article aims to identify the challenges faced by MPAI in primary schools in the contemporary era, while exploring the opportunities that exist to optimize religious learning. The author also provides recommendations to improve the quality of religious education in the midst of changing times.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of technology, particularly mobile applications, in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning for elementary school students. Using a pre-test post-test control group experimental design, this research involves two groups: the experimental group using mobile applications in learning and the control group following conventional learning methods. This study measures two main aspects: students' understanding of PAI material and their learning motivation.The results show that the use of mobile applications has a positive impact on students' understanding of PAI material. Students who used the mobile application demonstrated significant improvement in mastering the material compared to the control group. The mobile applications, which present material in multimedia formats such as videos, animations, and quizzes, allow students to understand religious concepts more interactively and engagingly. Additionally, features such as practice questions and immediate feedback help reinforce students' understanding. On the other hand, this study also found that mobile applications can increase students' motivation to engage in PAI learning. Students felt more interested and involved in the learning process using the app compared to conventional methods, which tended to be monotonous. The use of educational games and quizzes in the applications made the learning experience more enjoyable and challenging.However, this study also identified several challenges, such as limited access to technology in some areas and the need for teacher training in effectively using mobile applications. In conclusion, mobile applications can be an effective tool to improve the quality of PAI learning in elementary schools, provided they are implemented properly and supported by adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

This article aims to explain how Tuan Guru is Decharismatized when involved in politics. In the Sasak tribe on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province, the figure of Tuan Guru is seen as a religious figure or cleric whose main purpose of existence is none other than to continue the baton of preaching from the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The figure of Tuan Guru in Lombok is none other than an important figure who guides society more specifically in the order of life according to religious teachings. However, the view of the Lombok community towards Tuan Guru with charisma gradually faded when Tuan Guru was involved in the world of politics, namely a world where uncertainty and power are the main heart. From the results of Agus Dedy Putrawan's research (2014) that the Sasak community sees that when Tuan Guru is involved in politics, it has the potential to move away from the main role as a preacher, then many other factors cause the figure of Tuan Guru to experience Decharismatization when this religious figure is involved in politics.

Abstract

Building a generation with character is one of the main goals of education, especially at the elementary school level, as the initial foundation of moral and moral formation. Literacy of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials plays an important role in shaping students into individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have noble personalities. This study aims to explore the role of literacy in building a generation of character through the integration of Islamic values, such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, and tolerance, into students' daily lives. The approach used in PAI learning involves contextual strategies, interactive methods, and the utilization of technology to increase the effectiveness of material delivery. In addition, religious-based extracurricular activities, such as flash pesantren and social actions, also strengthen the internalization of PAI values. The implementation results showed that students who were exposed to PAI literacy consistently experienced improvements in discipline, spiritual awareness, and the ability to be tolerant of others. However, there were some challenges in implementing this literacy, such as limited resources, lack of access to technology and lack of parental involvement. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between schools, teachers, parents and communities in supporting effective PAI literacy implementation. With an integrated and sustainable approach, PAI literacy materials can become a solid foundation in forming a generation with strong character, noble character, and able to make a positive contribution to the nation and religion.
