The journal publishes state-of-art papers in fundamental theory, experiments, and simulation, as well as applications, with a systematic proposed method, sufficient review on previous works, expanded discussion, and concise conclusion. Abstract

Fostering creativity within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education remains a critical challenge, as traditional pedagogies often prioritize convergent thinking over innovative problem-solving. This study investigates the impact of integrating design thinking methodologies into STEM classrooms to enhance student creativity. The primary objective was to quantitatively measure changes in students’ creative abilities and to qualitatively explore their experiences and perceptions of the design thinking process. This research employed a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design. Initially, 120 secondary school students participated in a quasi-experimental study, completing pre-and-post Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT). Subsequently, semi-structured interviews were conducted with a purposive sample of 20 students to provide deeper insights into the quantitative results. The findings revealed a statistically significant increase in students’ TTCT scores, particularly in the dimensions of fluency and originality. In conclusion, the integration of design thinking presents a robust pedagogical framework for systematically nurturing creativity in STEM disciplines, equipping students with essential skills for future innovation.

Abstract

Engaging urban youth in social entrepreneurship presents a significant challenge, often hindered by perceived complexity and a lack of motivational frameworks. This study investigates the potential of gamification to foster social innovation and entrepreneurial behaviors among this demographic. The primary objective was to experimentally measure the impact of a gamified intervention on the pro-social entrepreneurial intentions and idea generation quality of urban youth. This research employed a behavioral experiment with a pre-test/post-test control group design, involving 150 urban youths aged 18-24. The experimental group interacted with a gamified digital platform designed to guide them through social venture creation, incorporating points, badges, and collaborative leaderboards. In contrast, the control group used a non-gamified version of the same platform. The results revealed that participants in the gamified condition demonstrated significantly higher levels of engagement, produced more innovative and viable social solutions, and reported a greater increase in entrepreneurial self-efficacy compared to the control group. In conclusion, gamification serves as a powerful and effective strategy to lower entry barriers and motivate urban youth, channeling their creativity toward developing impactful social innovations and fostering a new generation of community-focused entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study examines how artificial intelligence (AI) can augment human creativity in the field of narrative writing through a collaborative approach. The research addresses the growing influence of AI-based tools in creative industries and the need to understand their role in enhancing innovation rather than replacing human authorship. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of machine-human collaboration in generating original and innovative storylines. Using a mixed-methods design, twenty creative writing teams were engaged in structured workshops combining generative AI tools with traditional writing processes. Data were collected from narrative outputs, participant observations, and post-workshop interviews, and analyzed using thematic coding and comparative quality assessment. Findings indicate that AI-assisted teams produced more diverse narrative structures and demonstrated a significant increase in creative risk-taking compared to control groups. The results suggest that AI can serve as a valuable co-creator when guided by intentional human direction. This research concludes that rather than replacing writers, AI technologies can strengthen creative processes, supporting a hybrid model where human judgment shapes and refines machine-generated contributions.

Abstract

In the hyper-competitive digital economy, the survival and growth of startups are intrinsically linked to their capacity for continuous innovation. While leadership is acknowledged as a critical driver of innovation, there is a limited understanding of how creative leadership specifically manifests and evolves over time within the volatile startup environment. This study aims to address this gap by longitudinally exploring the dynamics of creative leadership and its influence on innovation management processes within a digital startup. It seeks to identify the key leadership behaviors that foster a sustainable innovation culture and to understand how these behaviors adapt to the startup’s developmental stages. Employing a qualitative longitudinal case study approach, this research tracked a single digital startup over a three-year period. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the founding team and employees, direct observation of team meetings, and an analysis of internal documents related to project development and strategic planning. Key practices identified include fostering psychological safety, championing nascent ideas, and strategically allocating resources for experimentation. These leadership practices directly correlated with the development of an agile and resilient innovation management system. The study concludes that effective creative leadership in digital startups is contingent on the leader’s ability to adapt their style to the organization’s evolving needs.

Abstract

The integration of immersive technologies into educational settings has introduced new possibilities for enhancing creativity, engagement, and understanding of abstract concepts. Virtual Reality (VR), as one of the most advanced digital tools, offers interactive three-dimensional environments that can transform traditional teaching approaches. This study aims to examine the effects of VR-based learning on student engagement and concept mastery within creative education courses. An experimental research design was implemented with 80 undergraduate students randomly assigned to an experimental group using VR applications and a control group using conventional multimedia. The intervention focused on design-thinking modules over a six-week period. Data were collected using engagement observation checklists, concept mastery tests, and post-intervention questionnaires, and analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. Results revealed that the experimental group demonstrated significantly higher engagement levels and achieved better scores in conceptual understanding than the control group. Students reported that VR facilitated exploration, provided a more stimulating learning environment, and encouraged active participation in problem-solving activities.

Abstract

Libraries are increasingly recognized as dynamic knowledge hubs that must adapt to rapidly changing user expectations and technological advancements. The traditional service-oriented model of librarianship is no longer sufficient to address the complex and evolving needs of diverse user communities. This study aims to explore how librarians function as innovators by implementing participatory co-creation models to redesign library services. A mixed-method research approach was employed, combining a systematic review of 68 empirical studies with multiple case studies from academic and public libraries. Data were collected through document analysis, interviews, and focus group discussions, and were analyzed using thematic coding and cross-case synthesis. Findings reveal that participatory co-creation models foster a culture of innovation, enabling libraries to develop services that are user-centered, technologically integrated, and socially inclusive. The evidence demonstrates that collaborative approaches increase community engagement, enhance digital literacy programs, and expand the relevance of library services in the digital era. This study concludes that librarians, when positioned as co-creators and facilitators of innovation, can transform libraries into participatory spaces that respond effectively to local and global challenges. Recommendations highlight the need to institutionalize co-creation practices as a strategic framework for sustainable library development.

Abstract

Digital storytelling has emerged as a powerful pedagogical and social tool, enabling marginalized youth to articulate their experiences, build digital literacy, and foster a sense of belonging in increasingly mediated societies. Social exclusion continues to affect vulnerable groups by limiting their opportunities for participation and self-expression, which in turn impacts personal identity and community integration. This study aims to explore how digital storytelling can be employed as an inclusive practice to promote voice, agency, and connection among marginalized youth. A qualitative research design was adopted, using a multiple case study approach with 45 participants from diverse disadvantaged backgrounds, including urban slum communities and rural low-income settings. Data were collected through participatory workshops, semi-structured interviews, and observation, and analyzed thematically. Findings reveal that the process of creating and sharing digital stories enables participants to express personal narratives, develop confidence, enhance collaborative skills, and foster empathy within their peer networks. The study concludes that digital storytelling, when designed as a participatory and reflective practice, can contribute significantly to social inclusion by strengthening the visibility, resilience, and sense of belonging of marginalized youth. The study highlights the need for educators and community organizations to integrate digital storytelling into inclusive educational and community development strategies.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence has increasingly been recognized as a critical factor influencing leadership effectiveness and the capacity for creative problem solving in complex business environments. This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and creative problem-solving skills among business leaders by developing and testing a structural equation model. Data were collected from 362 senior managers across diverse industries through standardized instruments measuring emotional intelligence dimensions and creative problem-solving abilities. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied to analyze direct and indirect relationships between these constructs. The results revealed that emotional intelligence significantly and positively influences creative problem solving, with self-awareness and emotional regulation emerging as the strongest predictors. Indirect effects were also found, indicating that social awareness and relationship management enhance problem-solving outcomes through their influence on decision-making flexibility. The study concludes that leadership development programs emphasizing emotional intelligence can enhance creative capacities, supporting organizational adaptability and long-term competitiveness.

Abstract

The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education has transformed the dynamics of online learning, creating opportunities for personalized learning pathways. However, the potential of AI to enhance creative thinking skills among students remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the role of AI-driven personalized learning systems in fostering creative thinking in online classrooms. A quantitative research design with a quasi-experimental approach was applied, involving 240 university students enrolled in fully online courses. The experimental group used AI-powered adaptive learning platforms, while the control group participated in conventional online learning. Data were collected through creative thinking tests and analyzed using ANCOVA to measure the impact of the intervention. The findings indicate that AI-based personalization significantly improves students’ creative thinking, particularly in generating novel ideas, problem-solving flexibility, and originality of responses. The study concludes that AI can serve as an effective catalyst for promoting creativity in digital learning environments by tailoring content, pace, and feedback to individual learners. This research provides evidence for integrating AI tools in designing student-centered online learning models that emphasize creativity as a 21st-century skill.

Abstract

The shift to remote work has transformed the way teams engage in creative processes, making digital collaboration tools central to brainstorming and innovation. This study aims to investigate the dynamics of collaborative creativity in remote work settings by analyzing patterns of interaction during digital brainstorming sessions. A mixed-methods network analysis approach was employed, combining social network analysis with qualitative content analysis to map communication structures and creative idea flow across 18 virtual teams composed of 162 participants from diverse professional backgrounds. Data were collected from 54 recorded online brainstorming sessions conducted over a period of three months. Results indicate that teams with more decentralized interaction networks and balanced participation demonstrated higher levels of creative idea generation and convergence. Findings further reveal that the quality of creative outputs is influenced not only by individual contributions but also by the connectivity and diversity of collaborative ties within the team. The study concludes that fostering inclusive and distributed patterns of interaction is key to enhancing creativity in virtual environments.
