Abstract

Tinkercad is a web-based platform that allows users to design in the fields of electronics and coding. The platform offers various simulation components to support planning and procurement of necessary components. The community service activity took place on May 28, 2024, starting from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM local time. The event was attended by 31 students from SMK NU 1 Islamiyah Kramat, Tegal Regency, consisting of 10th and 11th grade students majoring in Computer Networking Engineering (TKJ). The challenge faced during this community service activity was the students' lack of knowledge in using Tinkercad for electronic design and coding. The aim of the community service was to enhance the understanding of SMK students about Tinkercad application. The method employed was an interactive workshop lasting for 2 hours with 31 TKJ students. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. The results achieved: 100% of students admitted to never having used Tinkercad before. After the workshop, 100% of students reported finding it easy to understand and follow the training. The results indicated a significant improvement in their understanding of Tinkercad usage.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted in Bantarpanjang Village, Tigaraksa District, Tangerang Regency, with the theme "Criminal Violations Against Document Forgery According to Article 263 of the Indonesian Criminal Code". As a state governed by law, Indonesia mandates that all actions of its citizens must be based on legal principles. The rule of law must be upheld consistently to ensure justice in society. One prevalent issue today is the crime of document forgery, which is increasingly sophisticated due to technological developments. Article 263 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) regulates two types of document forgery. Paragraph (1) addresses individuals who create or alter documents to generate rights or obligations, or to be used as valid evidence with deceptive intent. Paragraph (2) covers those who deliberately use such forged documents as if they were genuine, which may result in harm to others. Legal sanctions for violating this article include imprisonment for up to six years and/or a fine of up to one billion rupiah. Through this community legal education, the public is expected to gain a better understanding of the legal consequences of document forgery and to increase awareness of the importance of maintaining integrity and legal compliance in their daily lives.

Abstract

Children are a mandate given by the Creator to His creatures who must be guarded, cared for and given the best education so that their physical and spiritual lives are fulfilled. In Law Number 23 of 2002, a child is defined as someone who has not reached the age of 18, while the definition of a child in the juvenile justice procedure law Number 13 of 2013 is 12 to 18 years old. Guidance and supervision of children are very necessary both in the family, community and school environments. The purpose of control is so that children do not get caught up in associations that violate regulations or commit crimes, children must always be guarded and given an understanding of the importance of norms, both norms of politeness, moral norms and religious norms. Children commit crimes or violations, so in terms of the law it is not given a child who is in conflict with the law, of course when a child commits a crime must be treated differently in legal handling, because from a psychological perspective children still have hope in achieving their dreams and future ideals. Children as perpetrators of deviant acts, if the delinquency committed is categorized as minor, then the resolution of the punishment can be through peace or guidance, but if the child commits a serious violation or crime, the implementation of the law will continue but prioritize special treatment that is in accordance with the psychology of children under the age of 18 years. Community Service Activities are carried out by academics from the Faculty of Law in the Law Study Program, Dharma University of Indonesia (UNDHI) in collaboration with the National Child Development Institute (LEMBIKNAS) located at the Darut Tahsin Islamic Boarding School, Citeras District, Lebak Regency-Banten. Based on the theme, there are two formulations of the problem, namely: 1) How is the Utilitarian Prevention Deterrence theory in dealing with naughty children? 2) What are the sanctions for naughty children who commit minor and serious violations from the Utilitarian Prevention Deterrence perspective? The method used is qualitative by analyzing based on theories, books, journals, legal dictionaries and related laws and regulations. Through community service activities, hopefully there will be enlightenment on the resolution when children commit deviant acts.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has an impact on the quality of human resources and long-term productivity. Manado City as the capital city of North Sulawesi Province still faces challenges in reducing stunting rates. This study aims to analyze the implementation of stunting control policies in Manado City with a focus on specific interventions implemented by the Health Office and Health Centers. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of key informants, namely Health Office officials, nutrition management personnel, health cadres, and parents of stunted toddlers. The results of the study showed that communication had run smoothly, but the community's understanding of stunting was still less than ideal. Human resources and facilities were still limited. The disposition of implementers showed high commitment, but the lack of incentives was an obstacle. The bureaucratic structure of stunting control in Manado City was clear through coordination between the Health Office, Health Centers, and health cadres, with the support of SOPs that strengthened implementation in the field. In conclusion, the implementation of stunting control policies in Manado City has not been implemented properly and still requires strengthening in terms of communication, resources, and motivation of implementers.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors associated with medication adherence among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) at Puskesmas Tumpaan, Indonesia. The study aims to identify the influence of knowledge, comorbidities, and family support on patients' adherence to prescribed medication regimens. A cross-sectional design was employed with 205 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured interviews and validated instruments: MMAS-8 for adherence and DKQ-24 for knowledge. Statistical analyses included chi-square and multivariate logistic regression. Results revealed that 56.1% of patients were adherent to their medication, with knowledge, presence of comorbidities, and family support significantly associated with adherence (p < 0.05). Patients with good knowledge were nearly seven times more likely to adhere, while those with comorbidities and strong family support also demonstrated significantly higher adherence. The findings suggest that enhancing patient education and involving families in chronic care management may improve adherence outcomes. This study underscores the multidimensional nature of adherence and its implications for primary health service programs in diabetes management.

Abstract

The financial literacy rate in Indonesia, recorded at 49.68% (OJK, 2022), indicates that most people do not have adequate understanding of personal financial management. This condition poses a struggle to cultivating a financially literate generation starting at a young age. Through this community service activity, a financial management education program was carried out at SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli with a participatory and contextual approach. This program aims to strengthen students' comprehension of fundamental financial concepts, foster self-efficacy, and form healthy financial attitudes and habits. The methods used were interactive lectures, pocket money management simulations, and group discussions, with 30 grade VIII students as participants. The results of the pre-test and post-test indicated a significant improvement in understanding, rising from 30% to 86.7%.. This activity provides practical implications that financial literacy education needs to be systematically integrated into the basic education curriculum, and adapted to the digital challenges faced by today's youth. Therefore, this activity is anticipated to serve as an educational model that can be replicated in other schools to foster a financially literate young generation capable of navigating the challenges of the modern economy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine sustainable ecotourism strategies in developing Kandri Tourism Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City, focusing on community empowerment, challenges faced, and the utilization of natural and cultural potential. Using descriptive research with a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed significant success in community empowerment, utilizing natural and cultural potential, and maintaining sustainability. The active participation of the community, from the management to MSME players and tour guides, is the main foundation that encourages collective enthusiasm in maintaining cleanliness, hospitality, and preserving local wisdom and cultural arts. Although theoretical understanding of ecotourism is uneven, practical involvement in activities and consistent training from the government, tourism office, association, and university has substantially increased the capacity of the community. The Pandanaran and Sukomakmur Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) play a central role in triggering economic turnover and increasing local income. Commitment to environmental sustainability is also strong, as evidenced by the spring conservation program, tree planting, and waste bank plan. Government support focuses on human resource capacity building and institutional strengthening, ensuring the sustainability of ecotourism management. The utilization of natural and cultural potential is integrated through eco-tourism on plantation land, livestock, and religious sites such as Gua Kreo and Sendang. Annual cultural traditions have proven capable of attracting thousands of visitors, demonstrating the significant appeal of preserving local wisdom. Overall, ecotourism in Kandri Tourism Village succeeds in creating harmony between physical attractiveness, social and environmental sustainability, with adaptation to change and positive interaction between the community and tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to report on the development of mental health workers as part of mental health efforts in primary health care, specifically Community Health Centers (PKM). As the frontline of health services, PKM plays a crucial role in the handling and management of mental health issues in the community. However, not all mental health disorders are optimally reported. Data shows that the number of mental health disorder cases continues to increase annually, while only around 50% are successfully treated. Contributing factors include limited access to services and the uneven distribution of mental health workers. To address these issues, a mental health cadre program was developed. This program is designed to facilitate requests for mental health services through reporting, indexing, outreach, and home visits to patients. Cadres also act as liaisons between patients and primary health care services. The implementation phase begins with a needs assessment through interviews with health workers, patients, and community representatives. Next, selection is carried out based on cadre criteria, followed by recruitment and cognitive behavioral training. Training materials include knowledge of mental disorders, screening techniques, first aid, and evaluation methods. The results of the study using the 4-Level Evaluation Model indicate that the cadres are highly enthusiastic about their new role. There was a significant increase in knowledge between before and after cognitive behavioral training (p<0.001). Furthermore, the number of reported cases of mental health disorders increased, and the program was shown to align with the mission of primary healthcare services. Therefore, the formation of mental health cadres is considered effective in assisting healthcare workers in detecting and identifying patients with mental health problems in the Community Health Center (PKM) work area.
