Abstract

Culture in Indonesia is very diverse, ranging from traditional musical instruments, traditional games, regional dance arts, and many others. As an effort to introduce Indonesian culture to students, one of them is by implementing it into the learning process. Therefore, this study connects physics material into local culture in Indonesia, one of which is the Salai Jin Dance in North Maluku. This study aims to examine the concept of physics in the Salai Jin dance. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and interviews. The data obtained is then analyzed, verified, and reduced then constructed into scientific knowledge and interpreted into physics concepts in physics learning. In this Salai Jin dance, there are various concepts of physics, one of which is the concept of motion, torque, and waves in the material for class X and XI SMA/MA. The results showed that the salai jin dance can be used as a source of learning physics on motion material in class X SMA/MA, and moments of inertia, as well as waves in class XI SMA/MA.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials for business economics based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) for vocational high school students with materials for small and medium business plans. The development of the model uses an R&D approach in the field of Education (Bord and Gall) which has been modified as proposed by Sugiono with 3 (three) steps; 1) preliminary study, 2) model development. And 3) model testing. Based on the results of testing the model related to the feasibility assessment of the validators consisting of material expert validators and linguist validators, the results obtained that the product development was very feasible to be used in the teaching and learning process. Besides that, the results of the effectiveness assessment in the form of responses from teachers and student responses through questionnaires can be obtained that the product developed is very feasible to use. These results indicate that business economics teaching materials developed based on PjBL on small and medium business plan materials are feasible to use in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

At the primary and secondary education levels, the assessment (assessment) process in the cognitive domain is generally carried out in the form of tests. In the new paradigm of learning, the method does not seem to be used enough to collect information to find out the learning needs and developmental achievements or learning outcomes of students. Through the decision of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenristekdikti) Number 162/M/2021 concerning the Motivating School Program, a new term called learning with a new paradigm was introduced. Through this concept, assessment activities carried out by teachers need to be adjusted. This article aims to propose ideas on assessment procedures that teachers can follow. The literature review method is used to analyze the relevance of the learning concept to the new paradigm and differentiated learning, as well as to describe the assessment procedure in differentiated learning.

Abstract

This study is to perceive the development of the news text e-module Canva-Based in class VIII SMP. This research uses Research and Development method based on the ADDIE model developed by Branch. The analysis stage, a curriculum used, learning materials, and news texts. The design stage contained a framework and display of developed learning materials and news text using a scientific approach, including four language skills based on Canva. It has fundamental competencies, introduction, the structure of news text, grammar in news text, steps to make a news text into a news text, Evaluation, and Reference. The implementation stage requires validation by media and material experts before a test on teachers and students. The testing phase on Four Indonesian language teachers at SMPN 131 Jakarta and SMPN 175 Jakarta gave a response that can be used and great. Students at SMPN 131 Jakarta got a positive response with an average of 96.1% of 35 students. for SMPN 175 Jakarta obtained an average of 97% of 35 students. The results of the average assessment of students from SMPN 131 Jakarta and SMPN 175 Jakarta get a percentage score of 96%."Eligible" to be used by class VIII SMP students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the problem solving ability of students who received the flipped classroom learning model better than the class that received the conventional learning model. The population in this study were students of class XI SMK N 1 Kudus. Sampling using simple random sampling with samples taken two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection methods used are tests and documentation. Data analysis used two-way ANOVA test, post ANOVA test with Schefee method, and one-party proportion test. The conclusions are as follows: (1) the problem solving skills of students who get the flipped classroom learning model are better than the conventional learning model and (2) the problem solving abilities of students who use the blended learning and flipped classroom learning models achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria.

Abstract

In an effort to provide a safe and stable learning environment in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikburistek) has issued a policy of the Kurikulum Merdeka for all levels of education. The underlying philosophy of this initiative is the concept of Merdeka Belajar, which essentially means that students are given the freedom to explore their respective interests and talents. This policy is a transformative step for the realization of Excellent Indonesian Human Resources (HR) who have a Pancasila student profile. Merdeka Belajar has been launched for 21 episodes through the end of June 2022. As this is a relatively new policy, some are naturally skeptical. Furthermore, comprehensive discussion of why and how the Kurikulum Merdeka is implemented to date is limited. Therefore, this paper presents an analysis of the new learning paradigm seen from the Kurikulum Merdeka perspective and the creation of a systematic review of the relevant databases for the adoption of curriculum changes. There is strong evidence that the Kurikulum Merdeka is a viable way to overcome learning losses due to school closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. This work has the potential to become an important reference to increase commitment and cooperation from various parties in implementing policies for higher quality education.

Abstract

Representation is a form of interpretation of students' thoughts on a problem. One of the evaluation tools organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture is the Minimum Competency Assessment which is used to measure students' cognitive abilities where the aspects measured are reading literacy skills and numeracy literacy. From the results of observations, students are still not ready to face the minimum competency assessment and are still unable to answer mathematical problems mathematically. It is necessary to know how the students' mathematical representation abilities in solving the minimum competency assessment problems. This research is qualitative descriptive research. with data collection techniques in the form of tests and interviews. The subjects in this study were three students with different mathematical abilities taken from class VIII-A of SMPN 1 Pamekasan. The results showed that students with high, medium, and low abilities gave representations of mathematical equations or expressions and representations of words or written texts, but only high and moderate abilities met all indicators. Only students with high math abilities involve precise visual representations, students with moderate math abilities do not correctly involve visual representations and students with low math abilities do not show visual representations
