Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a very high level of vulnerability to disasters. Disasters that have often occurred in Indonesia have caused significant loss of life and material. Students as agents of change need to have good knowledge of disaster preparedness in order to provide positive changes to the community regarding disaster preparedness. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of knowledge of PGRI Semarang University students regarding disaster preparedness through the effective use of floating excavators. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic. The sample in this study were PGRI University students who met the inclusion criteria set by the researcher. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using univariate analysis which was carried out on the characteristics of the respondents, namely age and gender and categorical variables, namely knowledge using percentage and proportion sizes. The results showed that as many as 207 (65.1%) respondents had an increased and good level of knowledge regarding disaster preparedness through the effective use of floating excavators. The conclusions obtained from the results of this study are that the students of PGRI Semarang University already have a good level of knowledge which may be caused by disaster preparedness training through the effective use of floating excavators. Therefore, the floating excavator is one of the tools that can be used in disaster management that students can learn.

Abstract

During the current pandemic, students have difficulty understanding mathematical material, usually they are taught by lecturers face-to-face and now bravely, the obstacle experienced by students is that they feel that their learning is not optimal because often the signal is not good and is not stable enough to not be able to meet the lecturer. , to reduce this problem, it is necessary to make a video of learning material that will be delivered by a mathematics lecturer made by the teaching lecturer, the video is placed on youtube and the youtube link is given to students to study first for the upcoming meeting, this is in accordance with the flipped classroom model where students are asked to study first the videos made by their lecturers before being explained directly by the lecturers, it is hoped that students are able to think creatively about the video material made by their lecturers and students are able to analyze the lack of material that they have not understood n is explained by the lecturer at the next meeting, while the research method used is using the ADDIE R & D model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation), The research subjects were college students of mathematic education program of Open University. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of this study are design of learning video with flipped classroom model with material expert validation results with a feasibility percentage of 92% and media expert validation results of 93% with very good criteria. Thus, this product is is very suitable to be used as a supplement to lecture material at open universities, especially high school mathematics curricular subjects and make college student improve critical thinking in the class and the results of this study using a one-sided t-test showed or 2,097 > 1,674 so that the average learning outcomes of the experimental class using learning videos were better than the average learning outcomes of the control class without using learning videos as learning supplements; of student responses that is 88.4% in the very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of physics learning in schools during the implementation of the covid 19 pandemic. This research was conducted using a survey method with a population of physics teachers in the Madiun residency. The determination of the survey sample was carried out by random sampling. Based on the survey results, it was found that 87% of teachers used google classroom, and the remaining 13% used virtual face-to-face (zoom and G-meet) and social media such as youtube and Whatsapp groups. Meanwhile, 90% of these teachers conduct learning independently, not centrally facilitated by the school. This fact results in learning monitoring cannot being carried out properly. Teachers at school need additional knowledge related to online learning platforms, especially those that can be used easily in learning physics at school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of technology, information, and communication (ICT) literacy in learning mathematics and identify the factors that influence ICT literacy. The research method used is a descriptive survey method. The results of the study show that : (1) ICT literacy has an important role in learning mathematics: making learning media, finding learning resources in making teaching materials, carrying out the learning process, and making learning administration, as well as assessment activities. (2) Factors that influence ICT literacy consist of: training effectiveness, visionary leadership, work-life balance, achievement motivation, facilities and infrastructure, initial capabilities, and organizational culture. The conclusions from this study: (1) ICT literacy is very important in learning mathematics. (2) The dominant factors influencing ICT literacy, namely: training effectiveness, visionary leadership, work-life balance, and achievement motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a virtual reality-based high school mathematics virtual lab product with a constructivistic approach in an effort to improve the literacy and numeracy of high school students. The research method uses R&D by adopting the ADDIE model, namely Analysis (Analyze), Design (Design), Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluate). Researchers only conducted basic research so that the research stages only reached development. Data collection techniques used tests, questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used questionnaire analysis of student and teacher responses, feasibility analysis by experts, reduction of structured interview results and triangulation techniques. Test data was analysed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study are the production of virtual high school mathematics lab products as much as 10 materials that are attractively packaged based on virtual reality that have been validated by material experts and media experts with an average score of material experts = 89.70 and media experts = 90.38, meaning that this virtual mathematics lab product is very feasible to use in learning high school mathematics.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Project Citizenship-based Microlearning learning model in Civic Education courses to improve students' civic disposition in higher education. By using the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), this research produces innovative learning media that is effective, flexible, and relevant to meet the needs of digital era students. The results showed that the majority of students (78%) felt that civic learning was too theoretical, and 82% wanted a more practical approach. Therefore, a microlearning module was designed with interactive content in the form of short videos, infographics, quizzes, and applicable citizenship projects. The product was validated by material and media experts with validity levels of 89% and 87% respectively. The implementation of this model involved 70 students and was carried out for six month. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the aspects of civic disposition: civic knowledge (20%), civic skills (21%), civic responsibility (23%), and civic participation (26%). Microlearning-based learning provides time flexibility, while integration with project citizenship motivates students to contribute directly to social activities. In conclusion, the development of microlearning based on project citizenship is effective in improving students' civic disposition, with advantages in the form of concise, practical material delivery, and being able to build active involvement. This finding makes an important contribution to the innovation of Civic Education learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Climate change is an urgent global challenge and affects life all over the world. The young generation as the nation's successors has an important role in dealing with this issue. The aim of this research is to understand how education can contribute to increasing awareness of climate change among the younger generation. This research also aims to identify the most effective educational methods in conveying information about climate change. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. Researchers conducted a survey of 150 students from various levels of education, from elementary school to college. In addition, in-depth interviews were conducted with 15 educators who teach material related to the environment and climate change. The data obtained was then analyzed to identify emerging patterns and themes. This research also considers local and global contexts in understanding the impact of education on climate change awareness. The results showed that 75% of students who participated in environmental education programs had a better understanding of climate change compared to those who were not involved in the program. In addition, 60% of students stated that they felt motivated to contribute to climate change mitigation efforts after participating in relevant educational activities. Educational programs that involve hands-on practice, such as tree planting and waste management activities, have proven to be more effective in building student awareness and engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of green banking on the sustainability performance of the Indonesian banking sector. Green banking in this study will be proxied with green product, green operational, and green policy indicators, while the company’s sustainable performance will be proxied with multiple bottom line indicators, namely economic, environmental, ethic, social and governance (EEESG). Regression test are used to see how green banking affects a company’s sustainable performance. The results indicate that green policy affects all aspects of the company’s sustainable performance. Management policies that seek to synergize economic, environmental, etchical, social and governance aspects can encourage companies to achieve sustainable performance. This study recommends the concept of Green banking as one of the strategies, policies and procedures in meeting the demand of OJK regulation Number 51/POJK.03/2017 concerning the application of sustainable finance for financial service institutions, issuers and public companies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the story Sidang Belawan as the foundation for creating innovative wayang to internalize ecological wisdom and as inspiration for the design of creative wayang oriented toward Lampung culture. The research employs a research and development methodology integrated with artistic creation using empirical methods. The findings indicate that the life philosophy narrated in Sidang Belawan highlights ecological wisdom values, emphasizing awareness of nature as a source of life for humanity. Furthermore, ecological wisdom serves as the basis for shaping the design and form of wayang, manifested in the shape of the gunungan (kayon) as a representation of ecosystems and environmental elements, both biotic and abiotic.

Abstract

The learning model prepared for the 21st century is STEAM. In particular, the numerical method topic of the bisection method is taught using the STEAM learning model with the help of MS Excel. The problem in this study is whether the STEAM learning model can help students solve bisection method problems. The aim of this study is to determine whether the STEAM learning model can assist students in solving bisection method problems. This is a quantitative study with a population of all students taking the numerical methods course. The sample consists of semester 6 students from classes A and B, and the sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The prerequisite tests conducted are normality and homogeneity tests. The analysis technique used is the t-test, with the results showing t_calculated = 2.107 and t_table = 2.074. The null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, indicating that STEAM and conventional learning models have different effects. Furthermore, based on the average scores of both classes, the STEAM learning model has a more significant effect than the conventional method. In conclusion, the STEAM learning model with the help of MS Excel can assist students in solving numerical method problems.
