Abstract

One of the effective strategies to measure students' mathematical literacy is the mind mapping approach to education. The purpose of this study was to describe the mind mapping model on flat building materials in improving students' mathematical literacy. The approach method used was descriptive qualitative, this study surveyed 21 sixth grade students of SMP Penda Tawangmangu, with three samples selected to reflect high, medium, and poor performance. The strategies used were interviews and test questions. Data analysis procedures included data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Three indicators were met by four students in the high mathematical literacy ability category, thirteen by students in the medium mathematical literacy ability category, although the level of completeness and accuracy was lower, and four by students in the low mathematical literacy ability category.

Abstract

An important dynamic component in the learning process is motivation. Lack of motivation causes students to underachieve. One of the learning motivations is through singing, an alternative method often used by teachers in the teaching and learning process. Singing is indeed an effective method to increase learning motivation, especially in early childhood. This study was conducted on 22 students with observation and interview data. The results of the study were that children easily feel bored and fed up during learning hours in children aged 4-5 years with a total of 22 students in group B. In class B, there were children who felt bored and fed up so that to help the learning process through the singing method. The results of the pre-cycle observation that the assessment indicator had not developed (BB) reached 95%, there were many students who were not used to the learning process so that it was not fun, making students feel bored and fed up and the assessment indicator began to develop (MB) reaching 5%. Furthermore, 95% were included in the BSB category and 5% were included in the BSH category. This success is due to the fact that children feel happy with learning activities using the singing method and that the variety of songs that are done every day prevents them from getting bored and the results of the actions taken in two locations show that the singing method helps Al Hidayah Rambipuji Kindergarten students learn better.

Abstract

Teachers at the Mutual Cooperation Krampon Kindergarten use audiovisual media twice a week. The main purpose of using media is to attract children's attention and make learning easier and easier to understand. Data collection used observation, interviews and documentation to obtain and collect audiovisual data on implementation at Mutual Cooperation Kindergarten 1 Krampon. The interviews used included sources of information as well as teachers and students. The research uses the Miles and Huberman analytical data model. Namely data collection, reduction, presentation and verification. After the teacher gives the video to the child, they give instructions to the child to retell the video. After the video is shown, the child begins to develop. As the child watches the video over and over again, he begins to improve. First video to end of video. The results show a video about introducing the concept of numbers and letters using an animated video that is interesting and easy for children to follow, active involvement in questions and answers and discussions and being able to recognize animal sounds. With interesting characters, it helps children be more focused and enthusiastic. This can be seen from the children's enthusiasm in carrying out assignments after being exposed to the topic through audio-visual media. There, their assignments are always linked to each lesson, making them very enthusiastic and able to do their assignments well independently.

Abstract

ASWAJA (Ahlusunnah Wal Jama'ah) is a belief of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) with the characteristic of prioritizing three main teachings of Islam, namely understanding fiqh, aqidah, and tasawuf. In the context of education, ASWAJA is a program to improve religious character in students. The ASWAJA program is one of the interesting programs to be implemented in elementary school students so that students become a generation that is Qur'anic and has good morals. The aim of the research is to describe the ASWAJA program in improving the religious character of elementary school students comprehensively. This research was conducted at SD Islam Al Huda, Kediri City as one of the schools implementing the ASWAJA program. The research method used is a qualitative study with a case study design. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is known that the ASWAJA program is very relevant in instilling religious character values ​​in students. This can be shown through activities in the ASWAJA program which are based on the principles of tasamuh (tolerance), i'tidal (perpendicular), and tawazun (maintaining balance). These three principles have a concretization of very implementative religious activities that are routinely carried out in daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities. So it can be concluded that the ASWAJA program is very suitable to be implemented in elementary schools in building students' religious character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of gender equality and social inclusion on the character development of students in Special Education Schools (SLB). The research method used is quantitative, with a sample size of 366 individuals. Data analysis was conducted using SEM PLS. The findings indicate that both gender equality and social inclusion have a significant influence on the character development of SLB students. The implications of these findings emphasize the need for strengthening educational policies focused on equality and social inclusion to ensure that every student, regardless of gender or special needs, has equal opportunities to develop holistically, both academically and morally.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is a learning process that accomodates students to learn according to their abilities and respective interest. The aims of this research is to describe the differentiated mathematics learning process in the independent curriculum and to describe the mathematics learning outcomes of students who receive differentiated learning. The method used in the descriptive research with qualitative analysis and the location in this study was to take place at SMP Negeri 01 Abung Barat with principals, math teacher, and three students as informants. The results in this study are the process of implemented differentiated mathematics learning is carried out by implemented a process and product differentiation strategy based on the leaning needs and interests of different students. Students learning outcomes that are overall student scores in three classes have reached the KKM and many student’s scores have even exceeded the KKM. This proves that there is an increase in the scores of students who have received differentiated mathematics learning.

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to develop a valid learning design with Mind Mapping in Learning Journal technique in the Teaching and Learning Strategy course. The Model of development used is the 4D Model which four stages, there are Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. In the Develop stage, the researcher conducted a feasibility test by material experts, language experts and curriculum experts. The development of learning design with the Mind Mapping in Learning Journal technique resulted in several learning devices, namely (1) Design for the implementation of the Mind Mapping in Learning Journal learning technique, (2) Semester Lecture Plan for the Teaching and Learning Strategy course with the Mind Mapping in Learning Journal learning technique and Lecture Reference Unit for 16 meetings with the Mind Mapping in Learning Journal technique. The validation results obtained were the aspect of material suitability in the very valid category, the language aspect in the valid category and the content aspect in the very valid category and the time allocation aspect was very valid. The average validation results were stated to be very valid to be used as a learning device in the Teaching and Learning Strategy course and quite effective to be used in improving Self Regulated Learning of Biology Education students.

Abstract

Karakter keterbukaan wawasan penting untuk memfasilitasi pertukaran ide dan sudut pandang dalam tim. Saat ini, banyak anak yang masih kesulitan menerima pendapat dari orang lain dan cenderung kurang menghormati. Dengan demikian, menumbuhkan karakter keterbukaan wawasan penting untuk dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan buku teks tentang peradaban alas kaki berbasis project based learning dapat menumbuhkan karakter keterbukaan wawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) tipe ADDIE dan melibatkan sepuluh guru yang sudah bersertifikasi di berbagai daerah untuk analisis kebutuhan, sepuluh validator yang terdiri dari lima ahli dan lima guru bersertifikasi untuk expert judgement, dan delapan anak berusia 10-12 tahun untuk uji coba produk secara terbatas. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan 1) buku teks pendidikan karakter yang dikembangkan dengan tahapan ADDIE; 2) Kualitas buku tergolong kualifikasi “sangat baik” dengan skor ( 3,92 skala 1-4) dan direkomendasi untuk “tidak perlu revisi”; 3) buku teks berpengaruh pada karakter keterbukaan wawasan anak (p < 0,05) dengan efek besar (r = 0,922) atau setara dengan 85%. Tingkat efektivitas termasuk efektivitas tinggi ( N gain score = 77,95%).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to prepare children with disabilities academically, socially, and emotionally in facing difficulties and life problems that require them to have life skills so that they can be more independent and not rely on others and can stand on their own feet someday. The research was conducted through a qualitative approach, where the targets of this research were students with disabilities at SDN Dringu. There are several stages in the implementation of this life skill, the first is the introduction of the concept of life skills, then the second stage is to gain learning experience with the implementation of life skills and the last is the review of children with disabilities. The results showed that the implementation of life skills for students with disabilities there can be applied quite well by students there, as evidenced by our interviews with homeroom teachers and students, where the homeroom teacher felt this, 1-2 children began to show quite good behavioral changes despite the short duration of our research. besides that, students voluntarily help group friends who have difficulties, they have dared to interact with others, and the relationship between friends becomes closer. These reflective skills are seen as an important aspect of teachers' ability to flexibly adjust their teaching to make optimal choices in response to students' learning progress.

Abstract

The differences in educational patterns between the Meccan and Medinan phases have not been fully understood, particularly in the context of their application in the modern era. There is a lack of comprehensive studies on the dynamics of Islamic education during these two phases as a foundation for developing current educational systems. This research aims to re-examine these aspects as references and foundations for organizing education in both the present and the future. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach and library research or bibliometric analysis, which processes data based on literature. The library sources for this article include books, classical texts, and journals. Education is one of the mechanisms of life aimed at developing individual potential through teaching, training, and experience. Islamic education propagated by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought about a significant transformation in Arab society. The Prophet successfully transformed society from a state of ignorance characterized by idol worship and tribal conflicts into a unified community founded on faith, knowledge, and noble character. It can be concluded that the Islamic education introduced by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), both during the Meccan and Medinan periods, employed a highly comprehensive and profound approach.
