Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas tata kelola dan manajemen komunitas di Desa Jengkol, Kecamatan Kresek, Kabupaten Tangerang melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada Desember 2024–Januari 2025 dan dirancang untuk memperkuat kemampuan komunitas lokal dalam mengelola organisasi, menyusun program kerja, mendokumentasikan kegiatan, serta menggunakan platform digital untuk komunikasi dan pelaporan. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup observasi awal, pemetaan kebutuhan komunitas, pelatihan dasar teknologi informasi, workshop manajemen komunitas, dan pendampingan digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi digital, efektivitas komunikasi komunitas, serta kemampuan dalam mengelola data dan dokumentasi organisasi. Program ini memberikan model penguatan kapasitas yang dapat direplikasi pada komunitas lain.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memetakan potensi serta kebutuhan sosial-ekonomi masyarakat yang tinggal di wilayah sekitar kampus Universitas Muhammadiyah Banten, khususnya di Desa Renged, Kecamatan Kresek, Kabupaten Tangerang, menggunakan pendekatan berbasis digital. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2024 hingga Januari 2025 oleh tim dosen Universitas Muhammadiyah Banten. Melalui pemanfaatan instrumen survei digital, pemetaan geo-sosial, serta analisis data berbasis dashboard, program ini menghasilkan gambaran komprehensif mengenai kondisi pendidikan, tingkat keterampilan kerja, mata pencaharian dominan, akses terhadap teknologi, serta kebutuhan prioritas masyarakat. Proses pelaksanaan terdiri dari tahap pra-pelaksanaan berupa observasi lapangan dan penyusunan instrumen, serta tahap pelaksanaan yang meliputi pengumpulan data, analisis, dan penyusunan rekomendasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memiliki potensi signifikan dalam sektor UMKM dan pertanian, namun masih menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan literasi digital, kebutuhan pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas, dan akses ekonomi yang belum optimal. Program ini memberikan rujukan penting bagi pengembangan kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis data dan teknologi secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Digitalisasi telah menjadi kunci fundamental dalam meningkatkan daya saing UMKM dan efektivitas organisasi lokal. Namun, pelaku usaha mikro dan komunitas di pedesaan sering menghadapi kendala literasi teknologi, manajemen data, dan dokumentasi digital. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, program pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Talok, Kecamatan Kresek, Kabupaten Tangerang, Banten diselenggarakan pada awal tahun 2025 dengan tujuan meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM dan organisasi lokal melalui edukasi dan pendampingan digital. Kegiatan terdiri dari asesmen kebutuhan, pelatihan literasi digital dasar, workshop manajemen digital organisasi, dan pendampingan intensif. Evaluasi pre-post menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi pada lima aspek utama: penguasaan teknologi dasar, pengelolaan data komunitas, pemahaman sistem informasi, dokumentasi kegiatan, dan komunikasi digital. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa intervensi edukatif dan implementatif dapat mendorong transformasi digital lokal dan memperkuat struktur UMKM dan organisasi lokal di desa.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Desa Kemuning, Kecamatan Kresek, Kabupaten Tangerang dirancang untuk membentuk model pemberdayaan digital komunitas yang terpadu sesuai kebutuhan lokal. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, pelatihan literasi digital, penguatan kapasitas organisasi, dan pendampingan menggunakan teknologi informasi, program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemandirian digital desa. Metode meliputi analisis kebutuhan, workshop digital, serta kolaborasi antara warga dan pemangku kebijakan lokal. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan literasi digital, efisiensi dokumentasi organisasi, dan partisipasi warga dalam kegiatan desa berbasis teknologi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, diusulkan model PKM yang mengintegrasikan pelatihan berjenjang, platform digital komunitas, dan strategi keberlanjutan untuk replikasi di desa lainnya. Rekomendasi mencakup pendampingan jangka panjang, dukungan pemerintah desa, dan integrasi infrastruktur digital lokal.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Gerakan Kampus Peduli dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat Desa Kresek melalui sinergi mahasiswa dan dosen. Kegiatan difokuskan pada peningkatan literasi digital, penguatan UMKM, serta perbaikan manajerial komunitas. Program berlangsung dari Desember 2025 hingga Juni 2026 melalui pelatihan, pendampingan, dan praktik penggunaan teknologi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan warga dalam membuat akun bisnis, mengelola media sosial, menggunakan aplikasi cloud, serta memahami strategi pemasaran digital sederhana. Program juga memperkuat tata kelola komunitas dan meningkatkan motivasi pemuda dalam kegiatan sosial dan ekonomi desa. Evaluasi akhir menegaskan bahwa kegiatan relevan, mudah dipahami, dan memberikan manfaat langsung bagi usaha dan organisasi lokal. Program ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kemandirian dan adaptabilitas masyarakat terhadap perkembangan digital.

Abstract

The KELILING holistic program (EduGreen Village Environmental Empowerment Solution) was implemented in Cumpat Village, Kedung Cowek Urban Village, Bulak District, Surabaya City, to address environmental issues caused by limited green spaces and low community capacity in plant cultivation. This community service program aimed to provide education, training, and mentoring on the cultivation and processing of Family Medicinal Plants (Tanaman Obat Keluarga—TOGA) for residents of RT 03, RT 04, and RT 05, RW 02. The methods employed included discussions, training sessions, practical activities, and continuous mentoring. The program resulted in increased community knowledge and skills in cultivating TOGA on limited land through the use of pots and vertical planting systems. A total of 300 TOGA plants were distributed and planted in residents’ home yards. In addition, participants were trained to process TOGA into value-added products, such as herbal drinks and ginger cookies, which have the potential to generate additional household income. The program also encouraged community participation in environmental greening efforts and supported the development of Cumpat Village as a TOGA-based green village. Overall, the program contributed to environmental improvement, community empowerment, and the enhancement of local economic capacity.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) is an important foundation for developing a healthy and productive young generation. This community service program aimed to improve the awareness and understanding of upper-grade students (Grades IV, V, and VI) at MI Tarbiyatussubyan regarding personal hygiene and environmental sanitation. The activity employed a participatory educational approach consisting of interactive lectures, demonstrations of proper handwashing techniques based on World Health Organization (WHO) standards, and simulations on selecting healthy snacks. A total of 65 students participated in the program. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test, post-test, and behavioral observation methods. The results showed an improvement in students’ understanding of clean and healthy living behaviors, with the average score increasing from 60% before the activity to 85% after the intervention. In addition, students demonstrated better handwashing practices and greater awareness of waste management and classroom cleanliness. These findings indicate that interactive and participatory health education is effective in improving students’ knowledge and promoting positive behavioral changes related to clean and healthy living habits in the school environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires community organizations to adapt, including 'Aisyiyah, which plays a strategic role in Islamic da’wah and community empowerment. This community service program aimed to enhance the digital literacy capacity of 'Aisyiyah leaders and administrators in Surakarta to support more professional, effective, and modern organizational management. The program was implemented through five structured phases: needs assessment, hard-skills training, soft-skills and strategic capacity building, mentoring, and evaluation. The training was conducted on May 2, 2026, at the CBT Laboratory of Universitas Muhammadiyah PKU Surakarta and was attended by 47 participants representing the regional board, councils, institutions, and branch offices of 'Aisyiyah across Surakarta. The evaluation results demonstrated an improvement in participants’ knowledge, as reflected in the increase in the mean score from 87.80 in the pre-test to 96.11 in the post-test, representing a 7.64% increase. In addition, 67.5% of participants rated the program as excellent. The outputs of the program included digital posters, online forms, AI-assisted content, media publications, activity videos, and a Digital Literacy Training Module that obtained copyright registration (Registration No. EC002026065425). Overall, the program successfully strengthened participants’ digital literacy competencies and supported the acceleration of organizational digital transformation to enhance 'Aisyiyah’s da’wah and community empowerment activities in the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology in education requires students to utilize various digital tools to support scientific writing, particularly in reference management and bibliography preparation. However, many students still experience difficulties in managing citations and references systematically because these processes are often performed manually. This community service program aimed to improve students’ ability to use Mendeley as a reference management application in scientific writing. The activity was conducted online through Microsoft Teams and involved 20 Open University students enrolled in the Research Methodology course. The program employed a participatory training approach consisting of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and mentoring. Training materials covered application installation, account creation, adding references to the Mendeley library, integration with Microsoft Word, citation management, and automatic bibliography generation. The results showed a substantial improvement in participants’ competencies. After the training, 90% of participants were able to install Mendeley independently, 85% could manage references in the library, 80% successfully integrated Mendeley with Microsoft Word, and 90% were able to generate citations automatically. The training also enhanced students’ awareness of digital literacy and academic integrity in scientific writing. Therefore, Mendeley can serve as an effective tool for improving students’ reference management skills in the era of educational digitalization.

Abstract

Persons with disabilities continue to experience multiple barriers in accessing quality healthcare services, including physical, communication, and systemic obstacles. These challenges highlight the need to strengthen healthcare workers’ capacity and develop more inclusive healthcare systems. This community service program aimed to enhance hospital staff’s knowledge and skills in delivering inclusive healthcare services for persons with disabilities through a Disability Inclusive Development (DID) approach. The program was conducted at a hospital in Lamongan Regency and involved 33 staff members from various service units. The implementation methods included theoretical training, focus group discussions, healthcare service simulations, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. The results showed an improvement of approximately 60–75% in participants’ understanding, particularly regarding the social model of disability, ethical and effective communication with diverse disability groups, and awareness of systemic barriers in healthcare services. Service simulations revealed that the main barriers were cultural, structural, informational, and institutional in nature, originating from healthcare systems that were not yet fully inclusive. This community service activity demonstrates that a DID-based approach contributes to strengthening human resource capacity and comprehensively identifying service barriers. The proposed training and simulation model is potentially replicable and may be adopted by other healthcare facilities to support the development of comprehensive, inclusive, and sustainable healthcare systems.
