Abstract

Concept maps and summaries, can facilitate students of thematic learning, resulting in a full understanding of the material being taught. The objectives of research are to know: (1) the effect of summarizing the results, (2) the effect of concept maps on the results, (3) differences in student learning outcomes in the concept and summary concept class. Type of quantitative research with experimental method. Sources of grade IV student data. The results showed that (1) the use of the summary gave 100% result but did not significantly affect the calculation of 0.576, (2) the use of the summary gives 100% result and has significant effect with the calculation of 0,026 (3) there is difference of value in grade 85 and in class class Concept 86 but no significant effect with the calculation of 0.167. The results can be used as teachers in developing teaching strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence between the learning environment and the discipline of learning on the students' learning outcomes of the competence of industrial electronics skills. Student learning outcomes are used as a benchmark of students' abilities. Student learning outcomes are influenced by several factors: internal and external factors. Many problems found in SMK competence of industrial electronics expertise, among others, about the environment is not conducive and discipline of students who are still low. Population in this research that is class XI program of electronics industry skill as much 228 student and sample amounted to 145 student. Data collection techniques used documentation and questionnaires and data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that (1) the influence between the learning environment and the learning discipline on the learning outcomes, the magnitude of the effect of 0.541. (2) The influence of the learning environment on learning outcomes significantly with the coefficient of determination of 0.573. (3) The significant effect of learning discipline on learning outcomes of 0.444. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the learning environment and the learning discipline of the students' learning achievement of the competence of the electronics industry in SMK Se-Malang Raya.

Abstract

Most teachers use lecture, question and answer methods, and assignments, teachers also use certain images relating to the material the school has provided but the numbers are limited to some sub-materials. This research is a PTK consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Sources of data in this study are students of grade V SDN Karanganyar Kediri District. The results of the evaluation of student activity in inquiry learning showed improvement in each meeting. Cycle I and II there is an increase of students who get a competent predicate. The result of the 21st cycle evaluation test is 21 students, up to 27 students.

Abstract

One form of local wisdom that is derived through informal education in the form of life skills that is traditional treatment sangkal putung. The research was conducted using qualitative research method with case study approach. Learning stages found in the learning of sangkal putung are stage of tumut (follow), stage njajal (try), stage laku (ritual), stage ngetrapake (application) and stage jumeneng piyambak (independent). While the learning components found are teachers, learners, goals, time, place, methods, materials, media, tools, materials and learning evaluation. Behavior of the denier trader is seen from the motivation which includes attitude and situation, and ability consisting of skill and knowledge.

Abstract

Science Literacy has an important role in the teaching and learning process of science to apply and link the concepts. The study was conducted to describe the level of students' science literacy as well as to describe the changes after the implementation of Inquiry Lesson learning aided by concept map. This research used embedded mixed method of experimental design model. The research instrument used was the instrument of intervention and measurement. Intervention Instrument consisted of a set of learning Instruction on Inquiry Lesson aided by concept map while the measurement instruments include items on science literacy and quiz items. The result of the study showed that the level of science literacy after the implementation of inquiry lesson aided by concept map reached Multidimensional category but mostly it reached Functional category. There is a marked difference in the science literacy of the students before and after the implementation of Inquiry Lesson aided by concept map.

Abstract

Spatial thinking close to geography. Geography have fundamental essentials concept, principle and geographycal approach which is part of spatial thinking. It consequence of geographical students have to enhance spatial thinking actually. This reseach to approve influence of Problem Based Learning with Outdoor Adventure Education to geographical spatial thinking. Type of this reseach is quasy experiment. Subject of this reseach is geographycal student class 2015. Measurement of this reseach use gainscore from five essay question of spatial thinking. Result of this reseach showed that gainscore of spatial thinking in control class 11,17 or increase 24,14% and experiment class 18,17 or increase 41,77%. The result also showed that at hipotesis T test, Problem Based Learning with Outdoor Adventure Education influencing geographical spatial thinking.

Abstract

KPL is one of the programs that must be implemented by students of the department of education at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). The MPA Student is required to implement the program that is determined to implement the lesson study in the framework of lesson study. Based on the facts in the field, there are many obstacles faced by MPA Students, among them (1) the lack of presence of field supervisor in the learning activities; (2) lack of guidance of teachers in learning activities; (3) lack of material handout lesson study. Based on the problem, the researcher wanted to focus the research on how the effectiveness level of Lesson Study Module in Geography Learning for Students at school MPA activity. This research is one of descriptive research by using qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are students who have taken the MPA. Based on the research results can be seen that 77% of students give positive responses to the module. The developed modules are very effective and worthy of use for MPA Students. The developed modules can be used as reference material for MPA Students in conducting lesson study activities. In the future, it is expected that there will be further research in the field of lesson study geography. It is also recommended that modules can be experimented so that modules can be developed again for the better.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the increasing of writing skills and learning quality with pemodelan strategy class 9th Senior High School Bina Karya Atambua. This research has been conducted in two cycle. In cycle I, the students have reached the KKM contains 6 student (40,00%). In other side, the students have not reachedthe KKM contains 9 student (60,00%). In cycle II, the students have reached the KKM contains 12 student, while the students haven’t reached the KKM 3 students. In cycle 1, the increasing of learning quality has not been reaching the target. In cycle II, the increasing of learning has been reaching the target. The results show that pemodelan strategy has effect to increasing student writing skills and the learning quality.

Abstract

A developed teaching material is tested for its feasibility before it is implemented in the lesson. This study aims to describe the developed teaching materials, and describe the results of feasibility tests and the effectiveness of teaching materials developed. The design of the effectiveness test used in this research and development is Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The results of the validity test of experts and practitioners show that the teaching material is feasible to be implemented, while the field test results show the effective teaching materials in the writing lesson. The mean value of the experimental class is 82.88 while the control class is 75.03. This indicates that the mean score of the control class postes is significantly lower than the experiment class score. Therefore it can be concluded that the experimental class is significantly different from the control class in terms of the postes value (p = 0.000).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to create and measure feasibility test of Home Economics in high school. This research method using the 4D model (Define, design, develop, and disseminate). The results of the content validation test showed 92% (very decent), media validation test results showed 73% (feasible with minimal revision), the test results of 93% of personal had a (very decent) and the limited test group had a 91% (very decent). Based on these results, the development of Home Economics in high school which packed into the teacher guide books and teaching materials are very decent student.
