Abstract

Integrated/combined farming is a good way to optimize the use of resources and maximize income. Ruminant livestock is a type of other livestock types that plays an important role in sustainable agricultural systems because this type of livestock produces fertilizers and can utilize agricultural waste as fodder. Manure can be an alternative energy source for livestock farmers. An anaerobic digester will partially convert manure to energy in the form of biogas which contains methane. The main product of cassava crops is cassava. In this research, a toxic cassava which usually plant around pesantren. That could be used as food material. The cassava leaf could used as a source of silage production, and the silage quality is good until 60 days of storage. This silage was prepared for the drying season which at that time was difficult to find fresh feed. The cow dung is used as green manure fertilizer for cassava plants. The cow dung was fermented by an anaerobic bioreactor to achieve biogas and slurry. The biogas with methane as the main component is bioenergy that can used as a mantel lamp (Petromax) for lightening and a gas stove for cooking in Pesantren. The Slurry can able used as fertilizer and the eel cultivation.

Abstract

The use of technology is an important part of the learning process. Teachers are required to be able to utilize technology optimally and effectively. This demand has been strengthened since the covid-19 pandemic, which requires education to be able to adapt and accelerate quickly. Innovative activities that can be carried out are in developing teaching materials, one of which is hybrid modules. This activity is focused on giving training for middle and high school teachers on the use of barcode, fliphtml5 and flipbook applications, which can support teachers in converting conventional modules into digital or hybrid modules. A total of 90 participants took part in training activities 2 days through an online training by zoom meeting platform for the provision of materials and tutorials; guidance and assistance in making application products through WhatsApp groups consultations; and online meeting forums by zoom meetings for product presentations and reviews. This activity produced 55 digital modules. Participants' responses through the questionnaire stated that they were very satisfied and expected the training to be re-conducted for other teaching and learning innovations.

Abstract

Breast cancer ranks among the primary causes of mortality in women. A technique for identifying early indicators of breast cancer is Breast Self-Examination (BSE). BSE is a readily available and efficient method for early detection. The awareness of women regarding early breast cancer screening profoundly influences their health views and attitudes. The absence of sensitivity, curiosity, and proactivity among young women in pursuing information on BSE has resulted in insufficient understanding of early detection methods. The socialization of mobile applications can significantly aid by offering accessible information on BSE and reminders for the ideal occasions to perform self-examinations. This method can enhance understanding and awareness of breast cancer. This program seeks to inform and advocate for the "Love Your Breast" mobile application as a resource for early breast cancer diagnosis in young women. The implementation has three phases: preparation, execution, and monitoring and assessment. The findings reveal a substantial enhancement in knowledge scores post-education (p-value < 0.05), illustrating the efficacy of this method.

Abstract

One way to prevent complications from childbirth is to do physical activity. The health status of the mother during pregnancy needs to be considered from the beginning of pregnancy, because doing regular and directed physical activity can maintain the health of the mother and fetus during pregnancy. Exercise is one of the physical activities so that pregnant mothers stay healthy and fit. There is still a lack of pregnant women to exercise due to various factors, one of which is a lack of knowledge, so health education is needed to improve their knowledge. This community service was carried out in Padamukti Village, Solokanjeruk, Bandung Regency, with a total of 37 pregnant women. This activity consists of 3 stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The health education provided is knowledge about exercise in pregnancy using the Go Pregnancy Exercise (GoPEx) application media. This activity lasted for 90 minutes and was carried out pre- and post-test to assess the difference in the level of knowledge before and after the provision of education. There was a mean difference in knowledge's score between before and after giving the health education by the Go Pregnancy Exercise (GoPEx) Application (p-value <0.05). Pregnant women's knowledge increases after being given a health education. It is necessary to intensify the socialization of the use of the GoPEx application to increase the physical activity of pregnant women to realize healthy pregnant women.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to address the issue of street lighting control in Secang Village, Ngombol Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency. The method employed in this activity is the PPE method (Planning, Production, Evaluation). The process begins with analysing and identifying the problem, followed by planning the materials and circuitry. The next stage is the production of the control modules. Finally, the evaluation phase involves four rounds of control module testing: independent testing, field testing 1, field testing 2, and field testing 3.The evaluation is conducted by observing the lighting points where the control modules have been installed. Observations focus on the control module itself, its operation, and the type of lighting used. These observations consider evaluation aspects such as the sensitivity, reliability, and flexibility of the control modules. This activity resulted in the production and installation of six control modules at six lighting points. All installed control modules operated effectively, and all evaluation aspects were successfully met.
