Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using storytelling aprons in stimulating the speaking abilities of 4–5-year-old children with speech delays at the Pembina Muaro Jambi State Kindergarten. The background of this study is based on the importance of early language stimulation, especially for children with speech delays, so that their language and social development can develop optimally. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method following the Kemmis and Taggart model, conducted over three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The results indicate that the use of storytelling aprons has a positive impact on improving the speech abilities of children with speech delays. There was an increase in the average score from 48.3% in cycle I to 86% in cycle III. This medium proved to be effective in stimulating children to develop storytelling skills, letter pronunciation, and number recognition. Thus, the storytelling apron can be used as an effective learning alternative to support language development in children with speech delays

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at Roudhotu Ash Shibyan Kindergarten, Jambi City. The number of students at Roudhotu Ash Shibyan Kindergarten is 15 children, 5 boys and 10 girls. Based on the results of initial observations, it was found that the development of children's literacy skills had not developed well. The research method used in this study is PTK, the purpose of Classroom Action Research (PTK) is to improve the quality and learning outcomes practically. Classroom action research focuses on the class or on the learning process that occurs in the classroom. The results of the study showed that the literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at Roudhotu Ash Shibyan Kindergarten in Jambi City increased using educational literacy box game tools with differentiated learning, this is evidenced by the end of cycle II action III that the scope of development of the basics of literacy with a description of the achievements of children's development is able to listen, have awareness of text messages, alphabets, and phonemics, are able to express questions and ideas, are able to use their language for cooperation skills, so there are no children who are BB (Not Yet Developing), there are no children who are MB (Starting to Develop), children who are BSH (Developing According to Expectations) are 20%, children who are BSB (Developing Very Well) are 80%

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the creativity of 5-6 year-old children at Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Ahsan in Jambi City through ecoprint batik activities using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Based on observations conducted by the researcher from December 18-20, 2023, involving 16 children at TK Islam Ahsan, daily and weekly analyses indicated that 12 children had not shown adequate development in their creativity. Specifically, 75% of the children were categorized as "Not Developing" (BB) in terms of curiosity and challenge progress in the art creativity indicators. The research employed the CAR method, which consisted of two cycles. In Cycle I, the intervention involved ecoprint batik activities using natural materials such as oranges and celery. In Cycle II, evaluation and reflection on the results from the previous cycle were carried out. Observations revealed a significant improvement in drawing skills and the creation of works resembling real forms. In both Cycles I and II, there was a shift to the "Starting to Develop" (MB), "Developing as Expected" (BSH), and "Developing Very Well" (BSB) categories. Supporting factors in this study included the engaging and enjoyable ecoprint method, skilled educator support, and a positive learning environment. Conversely, limiting factors included time constraints, resource availability, and individual differences in children's skills and interests

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan pada era 5.0 yang menuntut integrasi teknologi digital dengan kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam sistem pendidikan pesantren yang berbasis nilai-nilai Islam tradisional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana kepemimpinan Tuanku mampu mengadaptasi kemajuan teknologi secara efektif dalam konteks pendidikan tradisional, guna tetap menjamin mutu pendidikan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap Tuanku sebagai pimpinan dan para tenaga pendidik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tuanku menerapkan kepemimpinan adaptif yang mengintegrasikan nilai tradisional dengan inovasi teknologi secara bijak, melalui pembelajaran digital terbatas tanpa mengabaikan adab, serta pengembangan kurikulum terpadu yang menjamin lulusan berakhlak dan berdaya saing. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan Tuanku berhasil menjaga relevansi dan mutu pendidikan pesantren di era digital tanpa kehilangan identitasnya.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Qiraat Sab’ah di pesantren umumnya dilakukan secara konvensional melalui hafalan dan bimbingan langsung dari guru. Meskipun metode ini mengakar kuat dalam tradisi, namun kurang menarik bagi santri di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas e-modul Qiraat Sab’ah berbasis video dengan pendekatan naghom Al-Qur’an menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), melibatkan ahli bahasa, media, materi, serta guru dan santri kelas 10 sebagai subjek uji coba. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sangat tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 96,77%. Praktikalitas media dinilai sangat baik oleh guru (97,77%) dan santri (98,43%). Uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 14,12 poin antara pretest dan posttest, dengan signifikansi 0,000. Minat belajar santri juga meningkat, dengan rata-rata skor 94,66% dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian, e-modul ini dinyatakan sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan minat serta hasil belajar santri pada materi Qiraat Sab’ah, khususnya Qiraat Imam Nafi’. Media ini menunjukkan potensi besar untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an berbasis pesantren yang menggabungkan nilai-nilai tradisional dan teknologi digital.

Abstract

This paper is motivated by the mosque's long-neglected and deserted presence, leading to its limited access to worshippers during the Maghrib and Isha prayers. This is evidenced by the mosque's frequent locking after Isha prayers and reopening at Maghrib. This study aims to uncover the causes of the mosque's neglect and lack of worshippers. This type of research uses the descriptive qualitative method used by researchers is to describe and present results that are in accordance with the information and data obtained in the field regarding the collaboration between administrators and Gen Z in modern mosque governance. The research location is the Nurul Firdaus Mosque, Padang Ranjau, Jorong Binjai, Tigo Nagari District, Pasaman Regency. The data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews and documentation. Research informants consist of religious leaders, community leaders, mosque administrators, mosque youth, and the community. The theory used in this study is Anthony Giddens' theory. The results of this study are to show the collaboration of mosque administrators and youth in mosque governance where the mosque has long been neglected and deserted by the congregation due to the administrators' indifference and neglect regarding the responsibilities that have been given to the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan sarana prasarana terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di Pondok Pesantren Modern Nurul Ikhlas. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya motivasi belajar sebagai faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan proses pendidikan. Kompetensi profesional guru menjadi tolok ukur kualitas pengajaran, sementara sarana prasarana memberikan dukungan fisik dan kenyamanan yang turut memengaruhi semangat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan populasi sebanyak 308 peserta didik, dan sampel sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kompetensi profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai signifikansi 0.001 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.587. Sarana prasarana juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai signifikansi 0.003 dan koefisien korelasi 0.563. Uji F menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0.003, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kedua variabel independen secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa baik kompetensi guru maupun sarana prasarana secara parsial dan simultan memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a project-based learning curriculum as a strategy to improve students' skills in facing the challenges of the 21st century. Project-based learning emphasizes the active involvement of students through the completion of real projects that encourage the development of critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and communication. This approach is designed so that the curriculum focuses on projects as the core of learning, and emphasizes constructive investigation, student autonomy, and the contextual relevance of the project. The study uses a literature study method to analyze the principles, design, implementation, and evaluation of project-based learning. The results of the study indicate that this model is effective in improving students' motivation, problem-solving skills, and active participation. Despite challenges such as limited resources and uneven distribution of work, project-based learning provides great opportunities in shaping students' character and connecting learning with social reality.

Abstract

Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) merupakan paradigma pengelolaan pendidikan yang menekankan pemberian otonomi kepada sekolah dalam mengelola sumber daya, proses pembelajaran, dan pengambilan keputusan secara mandiri, partisipatif, dan akuntabel. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menjadi faktor penentu utama keberhasilan implementasi MBS dalam mewujudkan mutu pendidikan yang unggul dan berkelanjutan. Artikel ini mengkaji peran kepemimpinan dalam MBS, jenis kepemimpinan yang relevan, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta strategi peningkatan efektivitas kepemimpinan. Melalui kajian pustaka dari berbagai sumber, artikel menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan partisipatif menjadi kunci keberhasilan MBS. Pengembangan kapasitas kepala sekolah, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan dukungan stakeholder menjadi faktor pendukung penting. Kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan partisipatif mampu meningkatkan kinerja sekolah secara signifikan. Selain itu, pemberdayaan guru dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi menjadi faktor pendukung penting. Penelitian terdahulu menguatkan bahwa motivasi dan kompetensi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangat memengaruhi mutu pendidikan (Al-Fatih & Hayati, 2023; Annur et al., 2019). Implikasi strategis disarankan untuk penguatan kapasitas kepala sekolah melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan dan kolaborasi yang melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan

Abstract

ABSTRACT Character education is a fundamental pillar in shaping the personalities of young generations with noble morals, preparing them to face global challenges. This article explores character education based on appreciation and sanction from the perspective of the Qur’an through a conceptual study employing a library research approach. The method utilized is qualitative with thematic analysis techniques applied to Qur’anic verses, classical and modern tafsir, as well as relevant Islamic education literature. The findings reveal that the Qur’an provides appreciation for positive behavior through promises of reward and spiritual motivation, while also emphasizing the importance of sanctions as an educative moral control. The integration of appreciation and sanction is proven to foster the development of disciplined, responsible character aligned with universal values. The implication of this research underscores the necessity of implementing proportional and humanistic appreciation and sanction models in character education within schools or madrasahs.
