A well-designed evaluation process can increase student motivation and strengthen understanding of the material taught, thus achieving more optimal learning outcomes. The researcher intends to analyze the effect of course review horay type cooperative learning model in improving students' Arabic learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach, specifically an experiment with a pre-experiment design. The study involved 16 students in class IVB SDIT Subulussalam who were assessed using observation sheets and written tests. The results showed that students were very active and engaged during the learning process, with a success rate of 61% - 100% in terms of activeness. Hypothesis testing confirmed that the independent variable (cooperative learning model) significantly influenced the dependent variable (students' Arabic learning outcomes). This supports the initial hypothesis and shows that cooperative learning models positively impact student engagement and enthusiasm. These findings have important implications for educational practice, as these models can contribute to more effective learning experiences and outcomes.

This study evaluates the suitability of the textbook Al-‘Arabiyah Baina Yadaik based on Amani and Awatif’s criteria and the Directorate General of Islamic Education Decree (KEPDIRJENPENDIS) No. 3302 of 2024. It examines: (1) the textbook’s quality per Amani and Awatif’s standards, (2) its alignment with KEPDIRJENPENDIS policy, and (3) its strengths and weaknesses. Using qualitative library research and content analysis, data were collected through documentation and analyzed descriptively. The results show that the textbook meets Amani and Awatif’s standards, though it lacks a reference list and does not adequately address individual learner differences. According to KEPDIRJENPENDIS, it is suitable for grades 7–9 students. Strengths include QR-code features for interactive learning, the four Arabic language skills development, and integration of Arab-Islamic cultural values. In conclusion, Al-‘Arabiyah Baina Yadaik is useful for Arabic language education and aligns with current educational standards and policies.

Character is a reflection of the person; positive character reflects the positive values that one possesses. The attempt to teach this positive character continues, one of which is through Al Arabiyah's Lil Hayah textbook, which claims to contain the values of Ulul Albab. This research aims to analyze the Ulul Albab values contained in the text of the textbook's conversation and discuss them in depth. The Al Arabiya Lil Hayah book became the primary source of learning for students at one of the universities in East Java. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis of Harold D. Lasswell's approach to the Al Arabiya Lil Hayah textbook, 1st volume. The analysis is carried out systematically, objectively, and qualitatively. The analysis's findings demonstrate that Ulul Albab's values are distributed pretty equally across the textbook. It is seen from the text of the conversation that it contains spiritual values evenly and is designed to instill those values in the student's subconscious. This research contributes to the understanding of character development through Arabic textbooks. The results of this research can be beneficial to developers, teachers, and Arabic language learners to instill the spiritual depth values of Ulul Albab.

This research investigates the determinant factors of public speaking anxiety among Indonesian university students through both pedagogical and socio-psychological lenses. Public speaking anxiety is a prevalent phenomenon in language acquisition, potentially affecting communicative competence and academic achievement, especially in the context of foreign language learning. This study explores the influence of academic motivation, intolerance of uncertainty, and the Big Five personality traits (openness, conscientiousness, agreeableness, extraversion, and neuroticism) as potential mediators in shaping speaking anxiety among Indonesian Arabic students in Islamic higher education. The research was conducted among students enrolled in Arabic Language Education programs at several state Islamic religious higher education institutions (PTKIN) in Indonesia. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to analyze the data, collected via self-report questionnaires. The results show that academic motivation does not significantly influence openness, while intolerance of uncertainty does. Of the Big Five traits, only openness and extraversion significantly affect speaking anxiety. Academic motivation influences conscientiousness, but not extraversion, while intolerance of uncertainty affects extraversion, but not agreeableness. Openness and extraversion mediate the relationship between academic motivation and speaking anxiety.

This research aims to understand the social construction of visually impaired students regarding the urgency of Arabic language education at the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Arabic plays an essential role in Islamic academic fields; however, accessibility for visually impaired students in learning the language remains challenging. Using a qualitative approach, this case study explores the experiences, challenges, and perceptions of visually impaired students in relation to Arabic language learning. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with several visually impaired students and the head and staff of the Disability Services Center (PLD) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The findings reveal that visually impaired students have a strong understanding of the urgency of Arabic, both for academic purposes and for enhancing future career opportunities. However, they also voiced various barriers, including limited support facilities and incompatible technology with their needs. This study is expected to provide insights for developing more inclusive policies in Arabic language education for visually impaired students in Islamic higher education settings.

The Book Creator application has become one of the most relevant and modern learning media for teaching mahârah qirâ`ah. This study aims to develop a Book Creator-based learning medium and evaluate its effectiveness in nahârah qirâ`ah instruction. This research follows a Research and Development (RnD) approach using the ADDIE design model, developed by Reiser and Mollenda. Through the ADDIE stages—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—this study explores students' learning needs, the implementation of the product, and the evaluation of the Book Creator-based learning tool. The evaluation of mahârah qirâ`ah learning through this application is based on several assessment indicators, including word meaning acquisition, coherence between sentences, general comprehension with appropriate grammatical accuracy (qawâ’id), and understanding of the text’s message. A key indicator of effective learning is students’ ability to analyze reading texts and articulate their understanding in their own words. Moreover, Book Creator serves as a tool that enhances students’ enthusiasm for learning Arabic.
