Abstract

The El-Barqī Arabic Language Study Institution implements the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM) in its programme, following Arthur R. Tenner's theory. TQM is guided by three core concepts. The ideas encompassed are as follows: firstly, a strong emphasis on customer focus, where El-Barqī offers extensive resources to educators in order to facilitate and enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. One of these amenities involves the provision of native Arabic speakers to facilitate direct Arabic language communication practice with native speakers. El-Barqī constantly engages with the parents of pupils through Islamic studies. The tangible effect of prioritising customer satisfaction is apparent in the growing annual intake of students and the extensive partnerships established with both public and private institutions by El-Barqī. Additionally, El-Barqī has implemented process improvement measures, including the enhancement of its programmes. This encompasses the implementation of language study programmes, both non-residential and residential, as well as the establishment of the Middle East Study Guidance Programme. Additionally, El-Barqī ensures full engagement, resulting in the production of highly skilled Arabic language graduates who have achieved numerous notable accomplishments. The outstanding collaboration inside El-Barqī has undeniably led to the successful implementation of its programmes. Hence, the adoption of Total Quality Management (TQM) has a substantial influence on enhancing the standard of education.

Abstract

Metode penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pra-eksperimental dengan menggunakan desain Intact-Group Comparison. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs As’Adiyah Banua Baru Polman yang jumlahnya 102 siswa yang terbagi dalam 4 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil secara purposive sampling dimana kelas yang terpilih merupakan kelompok kelas dengan pertimbangan-pertimbangan tertentu, sehingga peneliti mengambil dua kelas sebagai sampling yaitu kelas VIII.C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.A sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa kelas VIII.C 23 orang dan siswa kelas VIII.A adalah 23 orang. Untuk memperoleh tujuan penelitian, peneliti menggunakan instrument angket minat belajar siswa. Dalam pengelolaan data digunakan analisis data deskriptif serta analisis data inferensial. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk minat belajar siswa yang tidak diterapkan metode reward tergolong tinggi. Hal tersebut didasarkan pada presentase nilai terbesar ditunjukkan pada kategori tinggi yaitu yaitu 90,30% dengan nilai rata-rata 60,35. Sedangkan untuk minat belajar siswa yang menerapkan metode reward tergolong tinggi dengan presentase terbesar pada kategori tinggi yaitu 100% dengan rata-rata sebesar 66,09. Melalui uji hipotesis dengan uji t diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel = 3,831 > 2,01. Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat diketahui bahwa metode reward efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

The absence of students during the evaluation period is due to various factors and reasons such as going to Umrah worship with family, returning home due to illness (skorsing), suspension due to violations, etc. while students must still get learning facilities even though they are not in the school environment. This study aims to determine the Web used as a medium for evaluating maharah kitabah learning at Al Hikmah Boarding School High School Batu. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with the Miles and Huberman model, and the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. For data validity, researchers use the data source triangulation method. The results showed that the Web used as a medium for evaluating maharah kitabah learning at Al Hikmah Boarding School High School Batu was the "Sekolahku" web as a solution to solve the problem of student absenteeism during the learning evaluation.

Abstract

Differentiated based learning is an effective learning process that considers the differences of each student in increasing their potential according to their readiness, interest and learning profile. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of learning in Arabic language teaching at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Deli Serdang through the Differentiated Based Learning (DBL) approach. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research which involves observation of Arabic language teaching at Madrasah aliyah Negeri 2 Deli Serdang, and responses from teachers and students to the approach. The findings show that Arabic language learning is an important aspect of the educational curriculum in many countries, especially for educational institutions that have an Islamic religious base. In the midst of increasingly advanced educational developments, innovative learning approaches are the main focus for educators to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Arabic language learning. Where teachers are able to adapt learning to students' individual learning styles, needs and interests by improving students' understanding of Arabic by providing variety in teaching and meeting individual learning needs. This research makes an important contribution to the development of Arabic language teaching approaches at the secondary level.

Abstract

: This research aims to integrate AI as an assistive tool in Arabic translation. The difficulty in translation arises because it requires a deep understanding of various linguistic aspects in both the source and target languages. However, the advent of technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), has provided significant ease, particularly in translating Arabic. This tool has increasingly been utilized by language learners as a translation instrument, but its results remain a subject of debate. Issues such as accuracy arise, where the message from the source language may not be fully conveyed to the target language. Conventional translation also cannot be completed quickly because it requires mastery of various subfields of linguistics, such as syntax, lexicology, morphology, semantics, and others. From these challenges, integrating AI as a translation tool presents a potential solution. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach, focusing on analyzing the translation outputs of AI and professional translators, which are then described. The findings indicate that AI translation demonstrates high accuracy, although some errors persist. However, these errors can be mitigated with professional translation expertise. Thus, it can be concluded that using AI as a translation tool requires prior mastery of translation skills, with AI serving solely as an auxiliary tool that facilitates the translator's work

Abstract

This thesis discussed the use of video-based learning media to enhance motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru. This research adopted an associative research design with a quantitative approach. The population of this study consisted of 101 students of class XI, and a sample of 78 students was selected. Data were collected through observations and questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using statistical tests with SPSS version 24. The findings of this study indicated that: 1) Video-based learning media for Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru fell under the moderate category. 2) The motivation to learn Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru was in the moderate category. 3) The learning outcomes in Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru were in the moderate category. 4) There was a significant influence of video-based learning media on motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru. Based on the output of the SPSS Test of Between Subject Effects, univariate ANOVA was used to examine the influence of each factor on the dependent variable. The significant F-test values were used to test this relationship. The F-test value for the relationship between the use of video-based learning media (X) and Learning Motivation (Y1) was 3.083 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the F-test value for the relationship between the use of video-based learning media (X) and Learning Outcomes (Y2) was 2.896 with a significance value of 0.010 < 0.05. This indicated that there was a difference in the use of video-based learning media in terms of motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru.

Abstract

The suggestopedia method is applied to transform and create a relaxed learning environment for students, eliminating any tension during the learning process. The implementation of the suggestopedia method aimed to enhance the memorization skills of mufradat for Grade VIII students at MTs DDI Kanang. This was prompted by the observation that many students struggled with mastering mufradat. The main issue addressed in this research was how to implement the suggestopedia learning method to improve students' memorization skills of mufradat.This research adopted a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design called the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Data collection involved administering multiple-choice tests (pre-test and post-test), treatments, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis (analysis requirements test and hypothesis testing).The research findings revealed the following: 1) There was an influence of the suggestopedia learning method on the improvement of students' memorization skills of mufradat for Grade VIII at MTs DDI Kanang, as evidenced by the pre-test score of 58.12 and the post-test score of 85.49 with a paired samples test resulting in a Sig. value of 0.000. 2) There was an influence of the drill method on the improvement of students' memorization skills of mufradat for Grade VIII at MTs DDI Kanang, as indicated by the pre-test score of 51.84 and the post-test score of 78.55 with a paired samples test resulting in a Sig. value of 0.000. 3) There was a difference in the improvement of memorization skills of mufradat between the suggestopedia learning method and the drill learning method for Grade VIII students at MTs DDI Kanang, supported by the independent samples test with a Sig. value of 0.000.

Abstract

Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui problematika pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Pondok Pesantren Modern Rahmatul Asri Kab. Enrekang, Pondok Pesantren DDI As-Salman Kab. Sidrap. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan melibatkan pengerjaan, pengorganisasian, pemecahan dan sintesis data serta pencarian pola, pengungkapan hal yang penting, dan penentuan apa yang dilaporkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Problematika Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang terdapat di Pondok Pesantren Modern Rahmatul Asri Kab. Enrekang dan Pondok Pesantren DDI As-Salman Kab. Sidenreng Rappang  adalah sebagai berikut: Problematika linguistik yaitu morfologi dan sintaks-gramatika. Problematika Non-Linguistik yaitu tenaga pendidik, motivasi dan minat belajar, metode belajar, sarana belajar, waktu belajar, dan lingkungan. (2) Pada problematika linguistik kedua pesantren memiliki persoalan yang sama baik morfologi dan sintaks-gramatika yaitu masih terdapat santri yang kurang maksimal dalam menimbang kata dalam bahasa Arab sesuai kaidah ilmu sharaf dan kurang maksimal dalam membentuk struktur kalimat sesuai kaidah ilmu nahwu, hal tersebut disebabkan karena kurang lancarnya dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Sedangkan pada problematika non-linguistik terdapat persoalan yang sama pada kedua pesantren yaitu pada Tenaga Pendidik, oleh sebagian guru bahasa Arab memiliki latar belakang pendidikan yang tidak linear dengan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab. Metode Belajar, oleh sebagian guru masih menggunakan metode klasikal yang monoton dan Waktu Belajar yang kurang. Sementara pada persoalan yang berbeda antara kedua pesantren yaitu pada Motivasi dan Minat Belajar, Sarana Belajar, dan Lingkungan.

Abstract

Arabic is a very important language for millions of Islamic people around the world both Arabic and non-Arabic, Al- inayah pasuruan islamic boarding school is one of the islamic boarding schools that creates cadres of islamic cadres and cadres of the nation by equipping their students with learning arabic. The existence of pesantren as an uplifting educational institution is increasingly challenged to improve itself in every activity carried out in the islamic boarding school, for example in teaching practice. The learning program is one of the important factors in the continuity of learning Arabic. for successful teaching relating to the program used. Deliberations have various implementations of types of deliberations that take place in Islamic boarding schools, including as learning methods, batshul masa'il, and programs. As a learning method, deliberation has similarities with the method of class discussion or group discussion. The main problems of this study are: How is the implementation in qira'ah learning in pesantren? This type of research is a qualitative research design of data collection in this study using observation, interviews and field notes. In this study, researchers chose the caregivers of Al Inayah Pasuruan Islamic Boarding School as informants.

Abstract

The current technological developments, which are all online, require innovations in the teaching methods for the Arabic language, especially listening skills (maha>ratul-istima'), which are usually conducted offline in the classroom or language laboratory by directly listening to the pronunciation from the lecturer or native speaker via recording or video, then imitating and writing down the transcription results. Considering the current technological developments that cover all aspects, including education and teaching, there is a need for innovations in the teaching methods for language skills, especially listening skills, which, first in the form of face-to-face (offline) practice, became online practice. This research aims to provide alternative teaching in the form of innovations in learning Arabic, especially listening skills, for students through online media-based gaming strategies. This research is qualitative experimentation. Data collection was conducted using three methods: (1) collecting scores using documentation, (2) conducting the gaming process using observation, and (3) obtaining student feedback using interviews. Fifty-eight participants in the game were divided into two classes, namely Class A and Class B. There were 29 people in each class. Each class was divided into five groups, with 5-6 members per group. The game is divided into four scenarios, namely (1) word groups, (2) sentence groups, (3) paragraphs, and (4) character instructions. The game is played entirely online through Zoom Meeting. In this study, five indicators were used to assess listening skills: (1) ability to recognize letters in words (IHK), (2) ability to distinguish similar letter sounds (BBH), (3) understanding sentences (PK), (4) understanding paragraphs (PW), (5) understanding the meaning of vocabulary, phrases, sentences, and discourses (PAK). From the chain whispering game, the average scores per indicator were obtained as follows: CPI (72.8), BBH (72.5), PK (75.2), PW (72.5), and PAK (68). Based on these results, it can be concluded that this online-based chain whispering game can directly train listening skills and, due to the feedback received, is an interactive, memorable, and entertaining form of learning for the students.
