Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the Duolingo application in Arabic language learning, particularly in improving students' skills compared to conventional methods. The main issues addressed are students' low motivation in learning Arabic and challenges in mastering grammar due to the limitations of traditional methods. With the advancement of digital technology, gamification-based learning applications like Duolingo offer an interactive and engaging approach. However, research on the effectiveness of this application in the context of Arabic language learning remains limited This study employs a quantitative approach by comparing students' learning outcomes, motivation, and engagement using Duolingo and conventional methods through tests and documentation. Previous studies have shown that digital technology in language learning can enhance effectiveness, flexibility, and interactivity by providing instant feedback and increasing student motivation. The findings of this study confirm that Duolingo can enhance students' motivation and learning outcomes, although challenges such as technological access gaps and user readiness persist. These findings contribute to more innovative Arabic language learning strategies and provide recommendations for educators to adopt technology more effectively in teaching.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تطوير مواد تعليمية النحو بمقاربة استنتاجية لترقية فهم الطلاب ومهاراتهم في فهم القواعد النحوية. يتم تطبيق الطريقة الاستنتاجية من خلال تقديم قواعد النحو بشكل منهجي، بدءا من المفاهيم العامة إلى الأمثلة المحددة، بحيث يسهل على الطلاب تطبيق القواعد التي يتعلمونها. يستخدم هذا البحث أساليب البحث والتطوير (R&D) مع نموذج تطوير ADDIE الذي يتضمن مراحل التحليل والتصميم والتطوير والتنفيذ والتقييم. موضوع البحث هو طلاب المدرسة الثانوية النموذجية زين الحسن قنقون الذين يدرسون النحو. تم جمع البيانات من خلال التوثيق والملاحظة والاستبانة والمقابلة واختبارات التقييم لقياس فعالية المواد التعليمية المطورة. تظهر نتائج الدراسة أن المنهج الاستنتاجي في تعلم النحو قادر على تحسين فهم الطلاب بشكل كبير مقارنة بالطرق التقليدية. يتقن الطلاب المفاهيم النحوية بشكل أسرع ويكونون قادرين على تطبيقها في سياقات لغوية مختلفة. تعتبر المواد التعليمية التي تم تطويرها أكثر منهجية وسهولة في الفهم وفعالية في تحسين فهم القواعد النحوية.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reasoning ability in the field of learning Qowaid Arabic in the ALAC (Afternoon Lesson Advisory Council) program. The learning taken here is using Qowaid Arabic, Qowaid here is nahwu which is paired with shorof, so that it becomes nahwu shorof, which is a science that reviews the grammar (basics) of Arabic grammar. In other words, the discussion of Qowaid Arabic cannot be separated from these two terms. Therefore, learning using Qowaid Arabic is the right way. The research method used is a qualitative method and data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of the study were all students at Madrasah Ummul Quro At-tarbawiyah putri, totaling 51 people. In this study, Qowaid Arabic Learning is not like other lessons, namely the teacher tells students to write in good and correct Arabic writing. This learning process is an assistance provided by educators so that the process of acquiring knowledge, mastery of skills and habits, and the formation of attitudes and beliefs in students can occur. the results of this study can be concluded that in the Implementation of Qowaid Arabiyah learning in improving the quality of students in understanding Arabic at Madrasah Ummul Quro At-Tarbawiyah putri Plakpak Pagantenan Pamekasan. namely starting with First, the opening filled with Nadzoman. Second, class attendance. Third, introduction of the material by reading the material to the students first, after that the teacher reads one by one either in the form of small or easy mufradat as Qowaid material such as examples after that students are asked to write in their respective books and provide positions in the examples. Therefore, it is necessary to have a program in learning Qowaid Arabiyah, namely the ALAC (Afternoon Lesson Advisory Council) program. ALAC (Afternoon Lesson Advisory Council) is a learning program that is implemented in the afternoon where the ALAC program is focused on studying Qowaid-Qowaid Arabiyah.

Abstract

The female Mambaus Sholihin Boarding School implements a bilingual policy, namely Arabic and English, in the daily life of the santri. This study aims to analyze the influence of the linguistic landscape (LL) on the practice of speaking Arabic in the pesantren. The linguistic landscape in this pesantren encompasses three main languages, namely Indonesian, Arabic, and English, with a specific focus on the role of Arabic in LL and its impact on the habit of speaking Arabic among the santri. A qualitative approach was used to collect data in the form of photographs of visual signs in the pesantren environment, both in the form of infrastructural information and regulative restrictions. The analysis was conducted based on the type of language used, the distribution of Arabic, and how the positional configuration of the sign supports the practice of Arabic. The results show that the dominant presence of Arabic signs in the pesantren landscape, both monolingual and bilingual, creates an adequate environment to motivate santri to speak Arabic. Arabic is often placed positionally higher, indicating its priority in pesantren culture. The alignment between the bilingual policy and the supportive linguistic landscape facilitates natural and contextualized language learning. This study provides implications that language use practices in pesantren can be integrated as teaching materials to support contextualized, meaningful learning of Arabic along with its integration into language teaching methods to strengthen students' speaking competence.

Abstract

This research analyzes rhythm and rhyme as well as the message of the letter ba' contained in the diwan ash-syathiri by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Umar Ash-syathiri. This diwan contains poems about hikayat of life, morals, and spiritual experiences composed by Imam Ash-syathiri. The purpose of this research is to determine the rhythm and rhyme as well as the message in the letter ba' contained in the diwan Ash-syathiri by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Umar Ash-syathiri. This qualitative research uses the library method for data collection. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analytical method by analyzing the intrinsic elements, such as rhythm, rhyme and message which are presented descriptively. The results of this research indicate that this diwan contains rhythm (arudh) which is characterized by the presence of zihaf and illat. Then rhyme (qawafi) is characterized by the presence of qafiyah sentences, letters, harakat, types, names and varriations (uyub) qafiyah. Then, the message is characterized by the message or information obtained from each piece of verse in Ash-Syathiri's diwan.

Abstract

Di era ini, psikoanalisis digunakan lebih luas sebagai metode penelitian karena metode ini mempelajari sisi-sisi dasar jiwa manusia yang ada pada karya-karya sastra. Prosa sastra berjudul Amirah karya Sa’id Ramadhan Al-Buthi ini menunjukkan betapa dalamnya rasa cinta penulis kepada istrinya yang telah lebih dahulu wafat meninggalkannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menguraikan kalimat-kalimat dalam prosa Arab karya Sa’id Ramadhan Al-Buthi yang berjudul Amirah, yang menunjukkan pada konsep id, ego, dan superego berdasarkan pada teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menjelaskan secara detail paparan dan hasil yang ditemukan. Objek material penelitian ini adalah prosa Amirah karya Sa’id Ramadhan Al-Buthi. Prosa ini menarik untuk diteliti dengan pendekatan psikoanalisis karena secara mendalam menggambarkan emosi seseorang dalam cinta, terutama jika sosok yang dicintai oleh tokoh utama dalam prosa ini telah pergi terlebih dahulu menghadap ke hadirat Tuhan

Abstract

Problematika pendidikan yang cukup mendasar dewasa ini adalah adanya lembaga pendidikan yang lebih menitik beratkan aspek knowledge dan kurang memperhatikan aspek fundamental pendidikan yaitu pembentukan karakter dan akhlak. Problem ini dapat diselesaikan jika, setiap lembaga pendidikan dan para tenaga pendidiknya bersinergi untuk merancang proses pembelajarannya di semua bidang studinya berorientasi kepada pengembangan karakter dan penenaman akhlak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam perencanaan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di SMP IT AL BINAA Putri, Bekasi Jawa Barat. Metode yang ditempuh penulis dalam melakukan penelitian adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, penyebaran angket dan pengamatan lapangan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab di sekolah ini memiliki perencanaan yang mengintegrasikan ilmu dan pendidikan karakter dan akhlak yang didasarkan pada visi dan misi yang ditetapkan oleh sekolah. Perencanaan pendidikan karakter yang dilaksanakan di SMP IT AL BINAA terdiri atas tiga tahap. Pertama, tahap penentuan visi, misi dan penentuan nilai karakter yang ingin dicapai. Kedua, perencanaan strategi pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter. Ketiga, tahap evaluasi yang diwujudkan dengan penilian dalam proses KBM, perlombaan dan supervisi. Adapun karakter yang dikembangkan adalah sikap percaya diri, mandiri, komunikatif, kreatif, gemar membaca, tanggung jawab, menghargai orang lain dan menumbuhkan rasa keingintahuan.

Abstract

This research aims to open new Instagram innovations as a medium for learning Arabic, especially self-directed learning. Instagram, which so far is only popular for posting photos or videos, is very effectively used as a medium for learning Arabic, and can increase students' self-learning motivation. Researchers focused on using the Instagram account @kursus_arab_alazhar as a favorite channel with the most followers, namely around 130 thousand followers. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection uses triangulation techniques, through observation, interviews and documentation. While the analysis of research data refers to the Miles and Huberman model, namely through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study show that the Instagram account @kursus_arab_alazhar is very interesting and effective as a medium for learning Arabic based on Self-Directed Learning. Arabic students gave a positive response that Instagram @kursus_arab_alazhar was able to increase self-learning motivation in learning Arabic and was recommended to be implemented as a medium for self-learning Arabic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidetifikasi berbagai kesulitan-kesulitan belajar bahasa Arab yang dialami oleh peserta didik kelas XI IKA di MAS DDI Pattojo Kabupaten Soppeng. Kesulitan-kesulitan tersebut akan dianalisis dan selanjutnya berupaya mencari solusi untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa:(1) kesulitan belajar bahasa Arab yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik kelas XI IKA di MAS DDI Pattojo Kabupaten Soppeng terdiri dari: faktor intern (sikap belajar peserta didik, kurangnya motivasi, konsentrasi belajar, bakat peserta didik). Faktor ekstern (guru, lingkungan, kurikulum, sarana dan prasarana). (2) Upaya mengatasi kesulitan belajar bahasa Arab peserta didik kelas XI IKA di MAS DDI Pattojo Kabupaten Soppeng antara lain: dari pihak pendidik dengan menjelaskan serta memotivasi peserta didik tentang pentingnya belajar bahasa Arab, serta kelebihan-kelebihan bahasa arab dibandingkan dengan bahasa asing lainnya, supaya peserta didik tidak menganggap bahwa belajar bahasa arab sebagai beban justru sebagai kebutuhan untuk masa depannya sendiri. Olehnya peserta didik diharuskan untuk mempunyai perhatian yang lebih untuk mempelajari bahasa Arab. Peserta didik dianjurkan untuk mencopy buku bahasa Arab memiliki kamus bahasa Arab. Meskipun sarana dan prasarana masih sangat kurang tetapi guru akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk memanfaatkan sarana dan prasarana yang sudah ada agar tercipta bakat peserta didik dalam menguasai bahasa Arab. Dari pihak peserta didik sendiri, Peserta didik bertanya kepada teman yang pintar, mencari sendiri jawabannya di internet atau bertanya langsung ke guru. Peserta didik menanyakan kepada guru seberapa penting mempelajari bahasa arab untuk mendapatkan penjelasan dasar sekaligus motivasi dari guru. Peserta didik merenggangkan tubuh, berwudhu atau mencuci muka untuk mengembalikan konsentrasinya terhadap pembelajaran yang disampaikan guru.

Abstract

Arabic as the language of the Quran is considered not a coincidence. Arabic was chosen by Allah because it has privileges among other languages in the world. One of them can be viewed in terms of the beauty of the language style or stylistics. Arabic language learning has gained the attention of language learning experts by conducting various studies and research to determine the effectiveness and success of various learning methods. The purpose of this study reveals how stylistics is popular in the Quran and its implications for learning Arabic using a qualitative descriptive approach. This research uses the library research method. The data is collected through documents, and comes from verses of the Quran contained in Yasin's letter. While the analysis uses descriptive qualitative, both deductively and inductively. The results of the study found the fact that 15 metaphorical majas verses, 5 personification majas verses and 3 hyperbolic majas verses were found in Yasin's letter which can be used as a reference for the concept of learning Arabic with its various advantages. Language elements that are seen as difficult for students can be presented separately, systematically according to the learning theme discussed.
