Abstract

Inclusive school teachers are required to have adequate preparation to conduct optimal teaching processes for students with disabilities. Such preparations lead to work pressure and negative emotions, resulting in low teacher well-being. This study aimed to enhance the teacher well-being of inclusive elementary school teachers through the "Guru Tahu" training. The research design employed a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest and posttest control group design model. The participants were 16 inclusive elementary school teachers in Yogyakarta with low scores on the TWBS scale and basic knowledge related to students with disabilities. The results of Mann Whitney-U test indicated a significant difference with p <0,001, suggesting that the "Guru Tahu" training was effective in improving teacher well-being for teachers in inclusive elementary school "X" and "Y" in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Sexual violence in Indonesia is increasingly prevalent across all ages and genders. Children are particularly vulnerable due to their lack of sexual education, underscoring the need to impart personal safety skills early. This study investigates the impact of puppet storytelling on enhancing young children's personal safety skills as a preventive measure against sexual violence. The subjects, aged 4-6 years and without prior sexual education, were divided into experimental and control groups of 25 children each. This quasi-experimental study utilized a non-equivalent control group design and was analyzed using the non-parametric Mann Whitney test, which showed a significant difference (Sig. 0.000 < 0.005) in the post-test and pre-test scores between the groups after the intervention. The findings indicate that puppet storytelling significantly improves the personal safety skills of young children, demonstrating the method's relative effectiveness when introduced at an early age.

Abstract

The burden of tasks and responsibilities without adequate time management skills can lead to academic stress in students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of time management training on academic stress. The research design is experimental with a pretest and posttest control group design. The subjects were students with high academic stress, measured by the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA). The study involved 61 subjects, 33 in the control group and 28 in the experimental group, randomly assigned. The experimental group received 8 training sessions, while the control group received 1 session. Time management training included goal setting, prioritization, daily scheduling, stopping procrastination, effective time use, and assertiveness. The Wilcoxon paired group data analysis showed a p-value < 0.001, indicating that the intervention effectively reduced students' academic stress. The implication is that time management training can be developed as an effort to reduce academic stress in students.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Santri yatim piatu dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya sering mengalami permasalahan, seperti pengalaman buruk masa lalu, kurangnya penerimaan diri, dan kurangnya kasih sayang dari sesama. Hal tersebut dapat menjadikan santri memiliki self-compassion yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas terapi penerimaan dan komitmen (acceptance and commitment therapy) untuk meningkatkan self-compassion pada santri yatim piatu. Partisipan berjumlah sepuluh orang dengan usia 15-18 tahun. Desain penelitian menggunakan pre-experimental dengan one group pretest-posttest. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self-compassion. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA repeated measures. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa acceptance and commitment therapy efektif dalam meningkatkan self-compassion pada santri yatim piatu. Abstract: Orphaned students in Islamic boarding schools often face various psychological challenges, including adverse past experiences, low self-acceptance, and lack of emotional support, which may contribute to low levels of self-compassion. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in enhancing self-compassion among orphaned students. Ten participants aged 15–18 were involved in a pre-experimental study using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected using a self-compassion scale and analyzed with repeated measures ANOVA. The results indicated a significant difference in self-compassion scores before and after the intervention, suggesting that ACT effectively improves self-compassion among orphaned boarding school students. Abstract

ABSTRAK: Intervensi family psychoeducation (FPE) merupakan salah satu pendekatan berbasis bukti yang dikembangkan untuk mengurangi beban yang dialami caregiver. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas FPE dalam menurunkan caregiver burden melalui meta-analisis literatur yang diidentifikasi dari berbagai sumber seperti Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, Science Direct, PubMed, dan Open Knowledge, dengan periode pencarian mulai Mei 2013 hingga Mei 2023. Hasil meta-analisis menunjukkan bahwa FPE secara signifikan efektif dalam mengurangi caregiver burden dengan ukuran efek -1,22 (CI = -2,373 hingga -0,073). Temuan ini mendukung rekomendasi agar family psychoeducation (FPE) diintegrasikan secara lebih luas ke dalam praktik layanan kesehatan keluarga sebagai strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan fisik dan psikologis caregiver, sekaligus mengurangi beban perawatan yang mereka alami. Integrasi FPE dapat memberikan dukungan yang sistematis dan berkelanjutan bagi caregiver, sehingga kualitas perawatan yang diberikan juga meningkat.   Kata kunci: Family Psychoeducation, Caregiver Burden, Meta Analisis. ABSTRACT:Family psychoeducation (FPE) is an evidence-based intervention developed to reduce the burden experienced by caregivers. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of FPE in decreasing caregiver burden through a meta-analysis of literature sourced from Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Open Knowledge, covering the period from May 2013 to May 2023. The meta-analysis revealed that FPE significantly reduced caregiver burden, with an effect size of −1.22 (CI = −2.373 to −0.073). These findings support recommendations for broader integration of FPE into family health service practices as an effective strategy to improve caregivers’ physical and psychological well-being while alleviating the demands of caregiving. The systematic and sustained implementation of FPE may enhance the quality of care provided by better caregiver support. Key words: Family Psychoeducation, Caregiver Burden, Meta Analysis.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Remaja tunagrahita memiliki kerentanan tinggi terhadap kekerasan seksual karena keterbatasan dalam mengenali, menolak, dan melaporkan situasi berisiko. Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas pelatihan asertif untuk meningkatkan personal safety skills pada remaja tunagrahita. Pelatihan ini bertujuan memperkuat kemampuan untuk mengenali, menolak, dan melaporkan situasi berisiko kekerasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental sejati dengan dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang menerima pelatihan asertif dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak menerima intervensi. Sampel terdiri dari 18 remaja Perempuan tunagrahita ringan usia 13–19 tahun. Hasil uji paired-samples t-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan keselamatan diri setelah intervensi (p = .027). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan asertif efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan anak untuk mengenali dan menetapkan batasan dalam situasi berisiko. Kata kunci: pelatihan asertif, personal safety skills, tunagrahita, remaja, pencegahan kekerasan seksual. ABSTRACT: Adolescents with intellectual disabilities are highly vulnerable to sexual violence due to limitations in recognizing, resisting, and reporting risky situations. This study examined the effectiveness of assertive training in enhancing personal safety skills among adolescents with intellectual disabilities. The training aimed to strengthen their ability to recognize, refuse, and report situations involving the risk of abuse. A true experimental design was used, involving two groups: an experimental group that received assertive training and a control group with no intervention. The sample consisted of 18 female adolescents with mild intellectual disabilities aged 13–19 years. Results of the paired-sample t-test showed a significant increase in personal safety skills following the intervention (p = .027). These findings suggest that assertive training effectively improves adolescents’ ability to recognize and establish boundaries in high-risk situations. Abstract

ABSTRAK: Tuberkulosis paru merupakan penyakit menular yang memerlukan pengobatan jangka panjang dengan tingkat kepatuhan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menguji efektivitas Acceptance and Commitment Group Therapy (ACT-G) dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien TB paru. Desain penelitian quasi-experiment dengan pendekatan randomized pretest-posttest control group melibatkan 10 pasien TB yang dibagi dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Kepatuhan diukur menggunakan Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8). Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen setelah intervensi (p = 0,038) dan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok (p = 0,006). Hasil ini mendukung bahwa ACT-G efektif dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan minum obat pasien TB paru, dengan implikasi pada keberhasilan terapi TB jangka panjang. ABSTRACT: Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious disease requiring long-term treatment and high medication adherence. This study examined the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Group Therapy (ACT-G) in improving medication adherence among pulmonary TB patients. Using a quasi-experimental randomized pretest-posttest control group design, 10 patients were assigned to either an experimental or control group. Adherence was measured using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8). Data analyzed with Wilcoxon and Mann–Whitney tests showed a significant increase in adherence in the experimental group after intervention (p = .038) and a significant difference between groups (p = .006). Abstract

ABSTRAK: Kecemasan saat berolahraga petanque dapat mengganggu fokus atlet saat bertanding sehingga dapat menurunkan performanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan mindfulness dalam mengurangi kecemasan bertanding pada atlet petanque. Penelitian quasi-experimental ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan nonequivalent control group pre test post test design yang melibatkan 16 partisipan. Partisipan kelompok eksperimen (n=7) dan kelompok kontrol (n=9). Teknik purposive sampling memungkinkan peneliti menentukan sampel yang cocok dengan tujuan penelitian dan didasarkan atas pertimbangan ahli. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji parametrik Mann Whitney dan Wilcoxon serta uji tambahan N-Gain Score. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan mindfulness tidak efektif dalam mengurangi kecemasan bertanding atlet dengan N-Gain Score sebesar 22% namun tetap terdapat perbedaan hasil antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol 0,043 < 0,05. Kata kunci: Atlet Petanque, Kecemasan Bertanding, Pelatihan Mindfulness ABSTRACT: Anxiety during petanque matches can interfere with athletes’ focus and reduce performance. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of mindfulness training in reducing competition anxiety among petanque athletes. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest model was employed, involving 16 participants, 7 in the experimental group and 9 in the control group. Participants were selected using purposive sampling based on expert judgment. Data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney and Wilcoxon tests, with an additional N-Gain Score analysis. Results showed that mindfulness training was not effective in significantly reducing competition anxiety, with an N-Gain Score of 22%. However, there was a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p = .043 < .05). Key words: Petanque Athletes, Competition Anxiety, Mindfulness Training

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Data statistik Badan Narkotika Nasional Provinsi (BNNP) Kalimantan Selatan tahun 2022 menunjukkan terdapat sedikitnya 678 korban penyalahgunaan narkoba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intervensi psikologi komprehensif berbasis ACT terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis melalui peningkatan pemahaman dan komitmen untuk tidak menggunakan narkoba. Penelitian yang dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif melibatkan partisipan sebanyak 16 warga bina Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Narkotika Kelas II A Karang Intan, Banjarbaru. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling meliputi kriteria usia 21-27 tahun, menjalani 2/3 masa tahanan, serta sisa masa tahanan 5 tahun ke bawah. Hasil uji Paired Sample T-test diperoleh bahwa intervensi psikologi komprehensif berbasis ACT tidak signifikan mempengaruhi peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi menurunkan secara signifikan terhadap pemahaman materi dan meningkatkan secara signifikan pada komitmen untuk tidak menggunakan narkoba. ABSTRACT: According to the 2022 statistics from the South Kalimantan Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP), at least 678 individuals were identified as drug abuse victims. This study aimed to examine the effect of a comprehensive ACT-based psychological intervention on improving psychological well-being through increased understanding and commitment to abstain from drug use. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved 16 Class II A Karang Intan Narcotics Correctional Facility inmates in Banjarbaru, selected through purposive sampling. Inclusion criteria included ages 21–27, having served two-thirds of their sentence, and a remaining sentence of less than five years. Paired sample t-test results showed that the ACT-based intervention did not significantly affect psychological well-being. However, psychoeducation significantly increased understanding of the material and commitment to refrain from drug use. Abstract

ABSTRAK: Guru di Indonesia mendapatkan banyak tuntutan kerja, tidak hanya mengajar dan mendidik murid tetapi juga disibukkan dengan tugas tugas administrasi. Hal tersebut membuat guru sering mengabaikan kesejahteraan kerja dirinya. Penelitian ini memberikan pemaparan empiris bagaimana pengaruh pelatihan pendidik PROAKTIF (Peka, Responsif, Operasional, Afektif, Kognitif, Ikhlas, Fasilitasi) terhadap peningkatan workplace wellbeing guru SD. Desain penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dan dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 11 guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan skor workplace wellbeing yang signifikan setelah diberikan pelatihan pendidik proaktif. Setelah diadakannya intervensi pelatihan pendidik proaktif, para partisipan mengetahui bagaimana cara menjaga kesejahteraan kerjanya dengan berbagai langkah efektif yang dapat dipraktikkan di kehidupan mengajar guru SD. ABSTRACT: Teachers in Indonesia face numerous work-related demands, not only in teaching and educating students but also in managing extensive administrative tasks. These responsibilities often lead teachers to overlook their workplace well-being. This study provides empirical evidence on the impact of the PROAKTIF teacher training program—an acronym for Peka (Awareness), Responsif (Responsiveness), Operasional (Operational), Afektif (Affective), Kognitif (Cognitive), Ikhlas (Sincerity), and Fasilitasi (Facilitation)—in improving elementary school teachers’ workplace well-being. The study used a quasi-experimental design with purposive sampling involving 11 participants. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed a significant increase in workplace well-being scores after the intervention. The training helped participants identify effective strategies to maintain their well-being in the context of daily teaching practice.
