Abstract

This study is a quantitative study to analyze the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Learning questions at State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Meulaboh, Aceh Barat Regency using Anates software. The object of the study was SMKN Class XI (eleven) students in the Even Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The data collection technique used was the documentation technique, namely to obtain exam question data, answer keys and answer sheets for all exam participants. Then for the item analysis process, it was carried out using the Anates Software Application Version 4.0.9, where the program would analyze the questions in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power and effectiveness of distractors which would then conclude the quality of the questions. The results of the research that has been carried out show that there are five question items categorized as very easy. Of the five question items, only one question item has the easiest level of difficulty, namely 0.92, has a discriminating power of 0.20 and two distractors do not function. And one item has the most difficult level of difficulty, which is 0.05 and the discriminating power of the question is 0.00. The five questions are recommended to be improved and only one item cannot be used because it has a very low level of discriminating power. Thus, it can be concluded that the quality of the questions presented is good, although there are 5 items that need to be improved in quality.

Abstract

Ahmad Dahlan and Hasyim Asy'ari were reformers of Islamic education in the archipelago who were also founders of pre-independence Islamic organizations. Ahmad Dahlan was the pioneer of the founding of the Muhammadiyah Islamic organization, while Hasyim Asy'ari was the founder of the Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic organization. The purpose of education, according to Ahmad Dahlan, is an effort aimed at giving birth to a generation with high intellectual quality and having high religious knowledge, and ready to always prioritize the welfare of the community. Whereas Hasyim Asy'ari had the view that the most important thing in education is character building. Ethics is the face of education that can determine the dignity and self-esteem of humans. The research used by me belongs to the type of literature study because it relies on literacy sources. I used a qualitative approach and also used a descriptive analysis method when compiling the results of this study.

Abstract

This research stems from accusation and unfounded criticism by orientalists regarding so many errors contained in the Qur’an from various aspects. Both in terms of historicity, originality, inconsistent variety of readings, the influence of Jewish and Christian on the teaching and verse of the Qur’an and even criticism of error in copying the text of the Qur’an. The purpose of this study is to explain the textual criticism of the Qur’an from an orientalist’s perspective, starting from their criticism of the history of the Qur’an and leading to accusations of error in copying the Qur’an, the second purpose is about the refutation of the idea and criticism conveyed by the orientalist. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the type of research literature study. The theory used in this research for orientalist study is theory of textual criticism and the philological approach as a method of copying the Qur’an. Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained are: firstly, regarding the criticism of the Qur’an by orientalist, it focus on the authenticity of the Qur’an which they consider to be fake. Refutation of orientalist’s arguments, as Muslim scholars does. For example, Mustafa A'zami said that orientalist only felt defeated when they found out that their holy book was no longer original and had undergone many changes. The purpose and mission of the missionaries to find out the weakness of Muslim is also one of the objections that can be put forward because with this mission and purpose, orientalist studies of the Qur’an are no longer objective. Based on the result of this study, the author suggest for Muslim to read more Islamic literature so that they can maintain their faith and continue to believe that the Qur’an is the holy word of God.

Abstract

Hadith holds a very important position in Islam, particularly as a way of life guide, including in educating children. However, there are still many instances of misinterpretation regarding hadiths related to the command to strike children, leading to incorrect interpretations. This study seeks to analyze the interpretation of the hadith concerning the command to strike children by using modern educational approaches and educational psychology. The research method is qualitative, supported by literature studies on both classical and modern texts. This study finds that the interpretation of the hadith about striking children for disciplinary purposes has been understood literally, without considering broader social, psychological, and pedagogical contexts. The study also finds that an educational approach emphasizing dialogue, understanding, and guidance is more effective in shaping the character and behavior of children. Based on these findings, a reinterpretation of the hadith is needed in a broader and deeper context of child education, integrating modern psychological and pedagogical values.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a health service module based on Islamic values in children aged 4-5 years. The module development was conducted through five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, with the application of the ADDIE model. Module validation was conducted by health, design, and language experts to ensure its feasibility and quality. The development of health service modules based on Islamic values for children aged 4-5 years proved to be effective based on the results of validation and effectiveness tests. Module validation by health, module/design, and language experts showed excellent results, with a final score above 97% from all three experts. Module implementation was conducted in two educational institutions, RA Banatus Shalih and RA Rabiatul Adawiyah, through parenting activities. The test results showed a significant increase in children's understanding of health. In RA Banatus Shalih, the pre-test average score rose from 57.5 to 93.75 with an N-Gain of 8.85, while in RA Rabiatul Adawiyah the pre-test score rose from 58.125 to 87.5 with an N-Gain of 0.70. This shows that the module is very effective in improving children's understanding of health.
