Abstract

This research aims to explain the role of curriculum management in the implementation of the Strengthening Pancasila Profile (P5) project with a case study at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Probolinggo. P5 is an initiative that aims to strengthen the understanding and implementation of Pancasila values in the educational environment. MAN 2 Probolinggo was chosen as the research location because it is one of the educational institutions that runs the P5 project with high commitment. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The respondents consisted of principals, teachers and management staff who were directly involved in the implementation of the P5 project. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify the role of curriculum management in supporting the P5 project. The results showed that curriculum management has a significant role in the successful implementation of the P5 project at MAN 2 Probolinggo. The practical implication of this study is the importance of the active role of curriculum management in supporting efforts to improve the understanding and application of Pancasila values in schools. The findings of this study are expected to be an input for education policy makers to strengthen the role and function of curriculum management in supporting the goals of character education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Strategy management is an approach or process used by organizations to plan, implement, and evaluate strategic steps in achieving the objectives that have been carried out. The matriculation program is a Study Program that provides initial debriefing for new students before active learning. The competence of new learners is the ability that students must have or achieve after participating in learning. The abilities possessed by these students are a combination of knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that are reflected in the habit of thinking and acting. The research used a qualitative approach descriptive method. This study examines the implementation of the matriculation program. Implementation contains the meaning of planning, implementation and supervision. The purpose of the study was to find out 1) Implementation of Matriculation Program Strategy Management at MTs Zainul Hasan Genggong, 2) Matriculation Program Process at MTs Zainul Hasan Genggong, 3) Matriculation Program Evaluation at MTs Zainul Hasan Genggong. The results showed that MTs Zainul Hasan Genggong has successfully implemented the Matriculation program, amtsilaty method and yanbu'a method using well-structured strategy management.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has transformed the paradigm of traditional libraries into more open and accessible digital libraries. iPusnas, a digital library application developed by the National Library of Indonesia (Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia, Perpusnas RI) in collaboration with the vendor Aksamaraya, is an example of innovation in utilizing ICT to enhance literacy access in Indonesia. This application offers various features such as book search, digital book borrowing, and offline reading capabilities, allowing users flexible access to thousands of book collections. This research reviews the development process of iPusnas, including concept design, software development, testing, and launch phases. The research methodology employed is a qualitative descriptive approach combining literature review, direct observation, and semi-structured interviews. The analysis results indicate that iPusnas significantly contributes to increasing reading interest in Samarinda City. Easy and quick access to various types of digital books, including contemporary and classic titles, provides a broader range of choices for the community to access readings according to their interests. Features such as efficient search, bookmarking, and interactive reading also enhance user engagement in literacy activities.

Abstract

In an era where information is the main thing, digital transformation is not only a necessity, but a necessity for institutions such as libraries. Genggong Library is one of the institutions that is trying to improve e-Digital Library services by adopting the Inlis Lite strategy. This research aims to explain the inlis lite strategy in improving e-digital library services at the Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic Boarding School. The research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews with library heads and document analysis related to the implementation of Inlis Lite. The research results show that the use of Inlis Lite has made a significant contribution in improving operational efficiency, ease of navigation, cataloguing, book data collection, attendance and accessibility of digital collections in libraries.

Abstract

Supervision is carried out as a form of business sign to find out that all activities are running according to their duties and functions as well as anticipating if there are problems that need to be fixed. In an educational institution, especially one based on Islam, supervision is carried out as a form of supervision for the school principal in monitoring an activity whether the activity is running as it has been predetermined. Based on this, research was carried out at SDIT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Pamekasan regarding the implementation of educational supervision in implementing the triple curriculum consisting of three research focuses, namely: 1) How is the implementation of educational supervision in implementing the triple curriculum at SDIT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Pamekasan; 2) What factors support and hinder the implementation of educational supervision in implementing the triple curriculum at SDIT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Pamekasan; 3) What is the impact of educational supervision on the implementation of the triple curriculum at SDIT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Pamekasan.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. During the Covid-19 period, learning was carried out online (distance learning) using several applications such as WhatsApp, class room, Telegram, Zoom, and so on. Online learning causes learning not to run optimally so that it does not achieve the learning goals of teachers. This research used a direct interview method with the deputy head of curriculum at the school. The results of this research can be concluded that online learning makes teaching and learning activities not optimal, as well as a lack of teacher supervision of student activities during learning, because many students find it difficult during online learning, for example, poor network, insufficient memory storage, so you cannot download applications to support online learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the learning design of Islamic cultural history at MTs Tarbiyah Islamiyah Kedemangan Muaro Jambi. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 38 respondents consisting of grade IX studeat MTs Tarbiyah Islamiyah Kedemangan Muaro Jambi. Evaluations are carried out to assess the effectiveness of the teaching methods used, students' understanding of the material, as well as the obstacles faced in the learning process. The results of the research show that the learning design implemented is quite good, but there are still several aspects that need to be improved, such as the use of appropriate learning media. more variety and increased student involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the implementation of the New Student Admission (PPDB) at SMP Negeri 50 Palembang, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of PPDB. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of PPDB at SMP Negeri 50 Palembang has been carried out well in terms of coordination, motivation, communication, and direction. The PPDB committee chairperson has effectively fulfilled their duties by assigning responsibilities to members, and the principal has provided effective motivation through discussions with all members. Communication among the committee members also runs smoothly, fostering good working relationships. The direction in the PPDB process, from committee formation to final evaluation, was conducted systematically. The main supporting factors in the PPDB implementation at SMP Negeri 50 Palembang are the strategic location of the school and the quality of the teaching staff, which have been well accredited. However, there are inhibiting factors related to the inadequate physical condition of the school's facilities, such as faded, moldy, and graffiti-covered walls, with no significant renovation efforts yet undertaken. This study concludes that despite some obstacles, the overall implementation of PPDB at SMP Negeri 50 Palembang has adhered to the established procedures and successfully attracted prospective students, although improvements to the school's physical condition are still needed to enhance educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of creative dance on the gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Cabang Jarai. Gross motor development is a crucial aspect of child growth, involving the ability to control large body movements such as running, jumping, and dancing. Creative dance, which combines free movements with a certain structure, is considered to provide good stimulation for children's gross motor development. This research employs a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study sample consists of 30 children divided into two groups: an experimental group that participates in the creative dance program and a control group that does not. Data collection was conducted through observation and gross motor tests before and after the intervention. The results show a significant improvement in the gross motor skills of children who participated in the creative dance program compared to the control group. Statistical analysis using the t-test indicates a p-value of less than 0.05, suggesting that the creative dance program has a positive effect on children's gross motor development. Thus, it can be concluded that creative dance is effective in enhancing the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years. This study recommends integrating creative dance programs into early childhood education curricula as a way to support optimal physical development in children.

Abstract

Islamic religious education is a key component of the national education system in Indonesia. Teachers of Islamic religious education play an essential role in implementing the independent learning curriculum for students at SMP Aisyiyah Terpadu in Kota Pagaralam. However, these teachers face several challenges in applying the independent learning curriculum, such as difficulties in understanding the curriculum concepts, developing relevant teaching materials, and enhancing student motivation. The aim of this study is to identify and analyze the problems faced by Islamic religious education teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum for students at SMP Aisyiyah Terpadu in Kota Pagaralam. This research employs a qualitative method through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The study involved 10 Islamic religious education teachers at SMP Aisyiyah Terpadu in Kota Pagaralam. The findings indicate that the challenges faced by these teachers include difficulties in understanding the independent learning curriculum concepts, developing relevant teaching materials, and increasing student motivation.
