Abstract

Kajian mengenai Benteng Cepuri sebagai sumber belajar sejarah pada mata pelajaran IPS belum dilakukan secara mendalam oleh peneliti terdahulu. Tujuan penelitian ialah menganalisis keterkaitan Benteng Cepuri Kotagede dengan mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian ialah kualitatif dengan data studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menguraikan data Benteng Cepuri Kotagede dan dikaitkan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) mata pelajaran IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Benteng Cepuri Kotagede berpotensi digunakan sebagai sumber belajar sejarah dalam mata pelajaran IPS. Benteng Cepuri Kotagede memiliki keterkaitan dengan mata pelajaran IPS kelas VII SMP/MTs KD 3.4., yang mengulas kronologi kehidupan Bangsa Indonesia masa Islam. Salah satu peninggalan masa Islam ialah Benteng Cepuri Kotagede dari masa Kerajaan Mataram Islam. Pendidik dapat mengkaitkan antara KD, indikator, dan tujuan pembelajaran IPS dengan nilai-nilai kesejarahan dan arkeologi Benteng Cepuri Kotagede. Materi yang dapat dikembangkan dari Banteng Cepuri Kotagede ialah tata kota, teknologi, riwayat bencana, serta pelestarian peninggalan sejarah dan arkeologi. The study of Cepuri Fort in Kotagede as a source of historical learning in social studies subjects has not been carried out in depth by previous researchers. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between Cepuri Fort in Kotagede and social studies subjects. The research method is qualitative with literature study data. Data analysis was carried out by outlining the data of Cepuri Fort in Kotagede and attributed it to the basic competencies (KD) of social studies subjects. The results showed that Cepuri Fort in Kotagede has the potential to be used as a source of learning history in social studies subjects. Cepuri Fort in Kotagede is related to the social studies class VII subject of SMP/MTs KD 3.4., which reviews the chronology of the life of the Indonesian nation during the Islamic period. One of the relics of the Islamic period is the Cepuri Fort in Kotagede from the time of the Mataram Islam Kingdom. Educators can relate the KD, indicators, and objectives of social studies learning with the historical and archaeological values of Cepuri Fort in Kotagede. The materials that can be developed from Cepuri Fort in Kotagede are urban planning, technology, disaster history, and preservation of historical and archaeological relics.

Abstract

Abstract Prambanan Temple contains local wisdom values that have not been well informed to domestic visitors. This article aims to introduce Arloka Map, an alternative communication media in a form of physical tour-map containing local wisdom values of the Prambanan Temple Area and to test the effectiveness rate of the Arloka-Map. Observation, literature studies, and instrument test methods were used to collect basic data. To determine the success rate of the proposed strategy, pre- and post-tests were conducted to 50 domestic tourist respondents. The outcomes were then analyzed by using the SPSS application. Results showed that score for visitors that were using the Arloka-Map was higher than visitors who did not use it (i.e. 8.72 vs 4.44). It was concluded that the use of the Arloka-Map assist tourists to know the values of local wisdoms at the temple's area.

Abstract

The study of the potential use of archaeological remains in Candi Retno as a source of learning the history of Hinduism during the Mataram Kuno Kingdom has not been carried out in depth. The purpose of this study is to analyze a variety of archaeological findings patterned Hindu during the Mataram Kuno Kingdom at Candi Retno. Another objective is to analyze the potential development of Hindu-style archaeological relics in Candi Retno as a source of learning the history of Hinduism during the Mataram Kuno Kingdom. Qualitative methods were used in this study which aimed to analyze the object of study, namely archaeological relics in Candi Retno in the form of temples and yoni. The results showed that the variety of archaeological remains found at Candi Retno were temple building ruins, yoni and some artifacts in the form of loose finds. The findings of archaeological remains at Candi Retno show that in the past the people of the Mataram Kuno Kingdom embraced Hinduism. Archaeological relics with Hindu patterns in Candi Retno have the potential to be developed as a source of learning Hindu history in historical learning. The material that can be developed is the history of Hinduism during the Mataram Kuno Kingdom, the iconography of Hinduism during Mataram Kuno, the technology of building sacred Hindu buildings, and the preservation of archaeological relics with a Hindu background.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the introduction of Nyi Ageng Serang's leadership values as an effort to build the character of the nation's next generation. Building character according to the character of the Indonesian nation is very important considering the increasingly development of technology that will affect the character of the nation's next generation. For this reason, the Community Service Team collaborated with schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta to introduce local heroes who were made National heroes, one of which was Nyi Ageng Serang. The stages carried out in community service begin with observation, coordination, execution and evaluation. This community service uses lecture and discussion methods. From this community service, students who will become the next generation of the nation are starting to have an interest in getting to know and deepen local heroes who have become national heroes such as Nyi Ageng Serang.

Abstract

People of Yogyakarta have an indigenous knowledge about catastrophe that is starting to be abandoned, due to the development of science and technology. Catastrophe events are considered more accurate when examined in a technological perspective, even thought technology has not been able to explain the meaning and philosophy of indigenous communities. The purpose of this research is; (a) identify traces of ancient catastrophe in Yogyakarta based on a philoarchaeological perspectiveand (b) analyze the relationship between the emergence of natural disaster folklore and the potential of natural disasters.The method of data collection is done online. The data were analyzed with a philoarchaeological approach. The results of this study show that ancient catastrophe consists of earthquakes, tsunamis, mountain eruptions, and floods. There is a link between the emergence of folklore and natural disasters. Folklore Ratu Kidul, Labuhan, and Merti Desa are related to earthquakes and tsunamis. Folklore Mbah Petruk, Labuhan, and Merti Desa are related to mountain eruptions.

Abstract

Mataram Kuno merupakan salah satu kerajaan bercorak Hindu-Buddha yang berkembang di Pulau Jawa. Artikel ini bertujuan melakukan kajian kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Mataram Kuno. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini ialah historis dengan pendekatan epigrafi. Tahapan penelitian historis terdiri atas pemilihan topik,pengumpulan sumber, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Pendekatan epigrafi dilakukan karena penelitian ini menggunakan data prasasti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kehidupan sosial masyarakat Mataram Kuno ditandai adanya pembagian golongan masyarakat. Golongan masyarakat tersebut terdiri atas brahmana, ksatria, waisya, dan sudra. Masyarakat Mataram Kuno dalam bidang ekonomi memiliki mata pencaharian di bidang pertanian, perdagangan, kerajinan, dan kesenian. Gambaran aktivitas sosial ekonomi masyarakat dapat diketahui berdasarkan relief Candi Borobudur.

Abstract

Peninggalan sejarah dapat dikenalkan secara menyeluruh kepada generasi muda untuk menumbuhkan semangat patriotisme, sifat kepahlawanan, dan nasionalisme. Salah satu peninggalan sejarah tersebut adalah Istana AlMukaromah yang merupakan peninggalan dari Kesultanan Sintang di Kalimantan Barat.Tujuan dari penulisan artikelini adalah mengidentifikasi peristiwa penting di Istana Al Mukaromah Kesultanan Sintang dan nilai kesejarahanIstana Al Mukaromah Kesultanan Sintang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa studipustaka. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis untuk menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa Istana Al Mukaromah adalah istana yang merupakan peninggalan dari Kesultanan Sintangdibangun tahun 1939. Peristiwa penting yang pernah terjadi di Istana Al Mukaromah Kesultanan Sintang adalahperumusan Lambang Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia yaitu Garuda Pancasila dengan semboyan BhinnekaTunggal Ika. Nilai-nilai yang terdapat dalam Istana Kesultanan Sintang adalah sejarah, religus, budaya, serta sosial.

Abstract

Research related to the use of Candi Selogriyo as a source of learning Hindu history for high school students has not been studied in depth by previous researchers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of Candi Selogriyo as a source of learning Hindu history for high school students. This research uses qualitative methods. Research data uses literature studies in the form of books, journals, and internet pages. The results showed that Candi Selogriyo has the potential to be used as a source of learning Hindu history. The basis for this use is the relationship between Candi Selogriyo and the curriculum of Indonesian History class X SMA / MA KD 3.5 related to learning materials about the entry process of Hindu religion and culture in Indonesia. The development of Candi Selogriyo material as a source of learning the history of Hinduism during the Mataram Kuno Kingdom is the iconography of Hindu-style statues during the Mataram Kuno Kingdom, the technology of building Hindu-style temples, and the preservation of historical relics of Hindu-style temples. The model of using Candi Selogriyo as a source of learning Hindu history for high school students can be done with systematic steps, namely (1) identifying KD subjects in Indonesian History, (2) formulating learning objectives and indicators, (3) reviewing the content of material at Candi Selogriyo, (4) designing learning models and media, and (5) evaluating learning.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat di Desa Taluyudunu Utara Kecamatan Buntulia Kabupaten Pohuwato adalah kurang optimalnya peran pemuda sehingga membutuhkan edukasi melalui kegiatan yang dapat menggerakkan pemudanya untuk lebih produktif, inovatif dan kreatif agar potensinya dapat dikembangkan dan bermanfaat untuk pembangunan desa sebagaimana harapan bangsa. Pemuda sebagai pendorong perubahan yang berpotensi memberikan kontribusnya menghadapi berbagai tantangan pembangunan. Pemudalah yang diharapkan untuk mewujudkan cita-cita bangsa menjadi bangsa yang bermartabat dan memiliki kekuatan dalam mempertahankan negara. Pengembangan sektor agribisnis sebagai salah satu program pemberdayaan pemuda yang penting dilakukan agar memiliki bekal menyonsong era yang semakin kompetitif untuk mempersiapkan pemuda menjadi pelaku wirausaha dalam bidang pertanian dengan memanfaatkan jagung yang melimpah sebagai produk olahan yang potensial menurunkan angka pengangguran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan pemuda melalui program penddidkan kewirausahaan untuk membangun usaha baru berbasis produk olahan jagung. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelaksanaan praktik oleh pemuda dengan menghasilkan produk olahan jagung berupa kerupuk jagung.

Abstract

The Kauman Lasem Islamic Boarding School, located in the Chinatown area of Lasem, holds historical significance. This study aims to analyze the potential of the Kauman Lasem Islamic Boarding School as a source for learning local history. This research employs a qualitative method. The findings indicate that the Kauman Lasem Islamic Boarding School serves as a symbol of harmonization. Integrating its historical aspects into the history curriculum enables students to explore the social, cultural, and religious dynamics of Lasem through a contextual approach. This research is expected to encourage the development of experience-based history learning methods and motivate various parties to preserve historical heritage such as the Kauman Lasem Islamic Boarding School
